ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

In the middle of a polished speech, Congressman David Norris decides to drop his political posturing and be honestly and truly himself.  While the public worships him for his authenticity, much of David's outward appearance is fake.  He confesses to his audience that everything from his clothing to the words he speaks are carefully crafted to influence public opinion.  David: "Shiny shoes we associate with high-priced lawyers and bankers.  If you want to get a working man's vote, you want to scuff up your shoes a little bit.  But you can't scuff them up so much that you alienate the lawyers and the bankers..."  (Caution: "a-----e" whispered quietly in background)

David arrives at his office building for another day of work.  Passing the receptionist's desk, he calls out a greeting without noticing that she gives no response.  David walks past several more co-workers, not realizing they are frozen in position.  He enters a conference room, surprising a team of angels "recalibrating" the minds of the people inside.  David, stunned and fearful, runs out of the room.  Thompson, the angel in charge, orders his men to follow.  David desperately runs all over the building, trying to evade his unknown pursuers.  He turns a corner, only to find Thompson standing in front of him.  Thompson, calmly: "You can't get away, David."  Bolting in the opposite direction, he again encounters Thompson.  No matter in which direction David runs, Thompson always appears in front of him.  Finally, David locks himself inside an office, making sure all the doors are bolted.  Within seconds, the angels have entered and David is overpowered.  (Caution: "hell" used once as profanity)

After witnessing a group of men in suits "recalibrating" his friend's memory, David finds himself held captive.  The men are holding him in a huge empty warehouse and have decided to reveal their identity to David.  Richardson: "We are the people who make sure things happen according to plan."  Richardson tells David that he and his colleagues (angels) can see human thoughts and actions and change the direction of their lives by "adjusting" minor details.  David's head is swimming.  Richardson: "You've just seen behind a curtain that you weren't even supposed to know existed."  He tells David that when humans veer off the intended plan, their job is to nudge them back in line.  Small events often attributed to chance are, in reality, angelic adjustments meant to bring the world back in line with its purpose.

David is trying to find Elise, the woman he believes he is in love with, but a team of "angels" is continually trying to stop him.  (The angels have told David that Elise is not part of God's plan for him.)  Two angels are now confronting David, reminding him that Elise is off limits.  David insists that Elise is the one for him: "Why do you want to keep us apart?"  Angel: "Because the plan says so."  David: "The plan is wrong."  Angel: "Do you know who wrote it?"  David: "I don't care."  Angel: "You should."  David: "If I'm not supposed to be with her, how come I feel like this?"  Angel: "It doesn't matter how you feel.  What matters is what's in black and white."

David has, once again, found his plans thwarted by a team of angels called the Adjustment Bureau.  Thompson, one of the lead angels, has come to speak with the frustrated David.  David, angry: "Whatever happened to free will?"  Thompson tells David that God (the Chairman) gave humans free will in the past and the result was sin and destruction (the Dark Ages, the Holocaust, wars, etc.).  At certain points in history, the angels were called to step in and fix what mankind had done to the world.  After seeing again and again that man was continually inclined to sin, man's free will was removed.  Thompson: "You don't have free will, David.  You have the appearance of free will."  David: "I make decisions every day."  Thompson tells David that humans are allowed small, insignificant decisions, but the overall fate of the world is controlled by God.  David doesn't see how God's control has improved the world: "The last time I checked, the world is a pretty screwed up place."  Thompson: "It's still here.  If we had left things in your hands, it wouldn't be."

David is waiting in the hospital to hear the results of Elise's injury.  Thompson confronts him, blaming him for Elise's accident.  David, furious, quickly punches the angel in the face.  Thompson, coldly: "This is what you do, David.  This is what you did getting into a bar fight the night you first got elected.  What you did to get that embarrassing photo in the New York Post.  We give you opportunities other people would kill for, and you squander them with impulse."

Harry, an angel, is looking out over the city.  Richardson approaches him and tells him that their efforts to change the life direction of a man named David have succeeded.  Harry, knowing that God's plan for David's life doesn't include his true love, wonders whether God is really right.  Richardson tells Harry he used to struggle with the same question: "Look, the Chairman (God) has the plan.  We only see part of it."

David and Elise are desperately trying to find God (the Chairman) so they can beg Him to allow them to be together.  (Angels have been trying to separate them because their relationship is not part of God's plan.)  After a long and arduous chase through the angelic skyscraper, the two have arrived at the top only to find no one there.  Thompson, the head angel, approaches them: "Did you really think you could reach the Chairman?  And change your fate if you did?  It doesn't work that way."  The two stare at him helplessly.  Suddenly, another angel approaches, carrying a message from God.  Thompson is stunned to discover that David and Elise's pleas have reached God's ears and He changed His plan to allow them to be together.
