ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__

- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

In the Cave of Wonders, Aladdin rubs a lamp from which a fast talking, fun loving, overly dramatic Genie emerges!

The Genie encourages Aladdin to use his third wish to regain his royal title and legally marry Jasmine. Aladdin instead decides to keep his promise, wishing the Genie free. The Sultan, realizing Aladdin's honor, allows Jasmine to marry whomever she chooses, and she gladly chooses Aladdin. The Genie bids the group a fond farewell and leaves to explore the world, while Aladdin and Jasmine start their new life together.


Aladdin and Abu are in the Cave of wonders where they find a mischievous flying magic carpet.

After Aladdin arrives in Agrabah as Prince Ali, he takes Jasmine on a romantic magic carpet ride, showing her "A Whole New World!"


After Aladdin releases the joyful Genie from the lamp, Genie sings a warm and welcoming song about all the things he can do: "You've never had a friend like me!"

The Genie grants Aladdin three wishes, and to woo Jasmine, Aladdin uses his first wish to become a prince -- which the Genie joyfully accommodates!

Aladdin, a petty thief, is once again running from the guards.  This time he has stolen a loaf of bread.  He walks over to some ladies who watched his narrow escape with amusement.  Lady: "Getting into trouble a little early today, aren't we, Aladdin?"  Aladdin: "Trouble?  No way.  You're only in trouble if you get caught."  At that moment, Aladdin is grabbed by one of the guards.  Aladdin: "I'm in trouble."  Aladdin's monkey, Abu, helps him to escape and the two resume their flight from the guards.  Aladdin begins singing: ♪ "Gotta keep one jump ahead of the bread line, one swing ahead of the sword.  I steal only what I can't afford...that's everything.  One jump ahead of the lawmen.  That's all, and that's no joke.  These guys don't appreciate I'm broke..." ♪

Aladdin and his pet monkey, Abu, have just worked hard to steal a loaf of bread for their breakfast.  They sit down together, prepared to feast on their bread, when Aladdin sees two young children foraging in the alley for food.  He looks down at his bread and then he looks at Abu.  Abu, knowing what's coming, quickly takes a defiant bite of his own bread.  The children stare with large, pleading eyes at Aladdin, who sighs.  He smiles, walking over to the children and giving them his only food.  Abu looks down guiltily at his own bread and then back at the children.  He reluctantly walks over to them and gives them his bread.  The children, grateful, pat the monkey on the head.

Two street children run across the path of a wealthy prince, who tries to whip them.  Aladdin runs out to protect the children, stopping the whip from striking them.  Aladdin: "If I were as rich as you, I could afford some manners."  The prince kicks Aladdin into the mud.  Aladdin mocks the prince as he rides away, and the prince turns around to insult Aladdin.  Prince: "You are a worthless street rat.  You were born a street rat, you'll die a street rat, and only your fleas will mourn you."  The prince enters the palace gates, which shut quickly behind him.  Aladdin, defiantly to his pet monkey: "I'm not worthless!  And I don't have fleas."  Aladdin walks home dejectedly, singing to himself: ♪ "Riffraff, street rat, I don't buy that.  If only they'd look closer, would they see a poor boy?  No, siree.  They'd find out there's so much more to me..." ♪

Aladdin and his monkey, Abu, have come to the Cave of Wonders to get the magic lamp.  They have been warned by the keeper of the cave to touch nothing except the lamp.  They walk into a huge cavern, escorted by the magic carpet.  The lamp sits at the top of a large rock and Aladdin makes his way towards it alone, leaving Abu behind with the carpet.  Suddenly, Abu spots a huge, glimmering ruby sitting in the hands of a statue.  The ruby is reflected in Abu's eyes as he licks his lips covetously.  The carpet sees Abu walking as if hypnotized toward the ruby and tries to stop him, but he isn't strong enough.  As soon as Abu grabs the ruby, an ominous voice yells: "Infidels!  You have touched the forbidden treasure.  Now you will never again see the light of day!"  The statue and the jewel turn to sand as hot lava and fire shoot all around Abu and Aladdin.

Aladdin has just released a Genie from his magic lamp and now he has three wishes.  He wants to make the best of his wishes, but isn't sure what to wish for.  He asks the Genie what he would wish for if he had a wish.  Genie, shocked: "No one's ever asked me that before.  Freedom."  The thought that the all-powerful Genie was a prisoner had never occurred to Aladdin.  In-between masters, the Genie is trapped inside his tiny lamp, waiting until the next master finds him.  Genie: "To be my own master!  Such a thing would be greater than all the magic and all the treasures in all the world."

Aladdin is frustrated with his attempts to court Princess Jasmine.  Believing him to be a prince, Jasmine has written him off with all of the other rich men who only wanted her for her money.  Aladdin asks the Genie for advice in winning Jasmine.  The Genie advises Aladdin to tell the truth about himself...let Jasmine know him for who he really is.  Aladdin: "No way!  If Jasmine found out I was really some crummy street rat, she'd laugh at me."  Genie: "You really ought to be yourself."  Aladdin: "Hey, that's the last thing I want to be!  Okay, I'm going to go see her.  I gotta be smooth, cool, confident.  How do I look?"  Genie, sadly: "Like a prince."

The evil Jafar has ordered Aladdin killed.  His henchmen bound the boy, attaching him to a ball and chain, and drop him into the ocean.  Aladdin struggles desperately, but his bonds are unbreakable.  He tries to reach the lamp to awaken the Genie, but he passes out before he can do so.  Once unconscious, he rolls down a hill and touches the lamp.  The Genie exits the lamp and, seeing Aladdin's predicament, quickly lifts him out of the water to safety.

The evil Jafar has used his second wish from the Genie to become a powerful sorcerer.  Transforming himself into a gigantic snake, Jafar is trying to kill Aladdin.  He's caught Aladdin and holds him trapped in his massive tail.  Jafar, laughing evilly: "You fool!  You thought you could defeat the most powerful being on Earth."  Aladdin, thinking quickly, plays on Jafar's hunger for ultimate power: "The Genie has more power than you'll ever have.  He gave you your power, he can take it away.  Face it, Jafar, you're still just second best."  Jafar: "You're right.  His power does exceed my own.  But not for long."  Jafar uses his third wish to become an all-powerful genie.  The Genie reluctantly grants his wish, and Jafar grows enormous.  Ecstatic, he is almost drunk on his power: "The power!  The absolute power!  The universe is mine to command...to control."  Aladdin, however, reminds Jafar that genies are really prisoners inside their lamps, eternally waiting for another master to command them.  Jafar is sucked into a tiny lamp, his power useless for his own gain.
