ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Barbie

Ken has finally realized that Barbie doesn't want a relationship with him: "I just don't know who I am without you!"  Barbie: "You're Ken!"  Ken: "But, it's 'Barbie and Ken!'  There is no 'Just Ken.'  That's why I was created.  I only exist within the warmth of your gaze.  Without it, I'm just another blond guy who can't do flips."  Barbie: "Maybe it's time to discover who Ken is.  Ken, you have to figure out who you are without me."  Ken: "Why?"  Barbie: "You're not your girlfriend.  You're not your house.  You're not your mink."  Ken, hopefully: "Beach?"  Barbie: "You're not even beach.  Maybe all the things that you thought made you you aren't really you.  Maybe it's Barbie and...it's Ken."  Ken looks like his mind has been blown: "Ken...is...me?"  Barbie, thoughtfully: "And I'm Barbie."


Normally, Barbie's day is perfect.  But something is off in Barbie Land this morning.  Barbie sits up, obviously drowsy and unsettled.  As the other Barbies wave and smile from their own Dream Houses, Barbie struggles to maintain her usual perky composure.  She wipes sleep from her eyes and squints at the sunlight.  She sniffs the air, realizing she has bad breath for the first time in her life.  As she goes about her usual morning routine, nothing seems to go right.  Her normally perfect shower is ice cold, her waffle is burnt, and her milk is spoiled.  Finally, she falls several stories down leaving her house.

Barbie is speaking with Ruth, the creator of all Barbies.  She has come to a crossroad and has to decide whether or not she wants to become human forever.  Ruth: "You understand humans only have one ending?"  Barbie: "I do."  Ruth: "Being a human can be pretty uncomfortable.  And then you die."  Barbie says she understands: "I want to be part of the people that make meaning, not the thing that's made.  Do you give me permission to become human?"  Ruth: "You don't need my permission."  Barbie: "But you're the creator.  Don't you control me?"  Ruth: "I can't control you anymore than I can control my own daughter."  Ruth tells Barbie she needs to fully understand the leap she's about to take.  She allows Barbie to see and feel scenes from life as a real woman.  Barbie's heart begins to beat and a tear rolls down her cheek as she sees mothers and their daughters living, loving, laughing, crying.  Barbie, when it's over: "Yes."


Barbie is upset because the Kens have taken over Barbie Land and changed everything.  She weeps: "Barbie Land was perfect before!  I was perfect before!  I've never wanted anything to change."  Gloria: "Oh, honey.  That's life.  It's all change."  Barbie: "That's terrifying!"  Barbie, walking over to a patch of grass and sitting in defeat:  "I don't want that.  Not my life.  No, thank you.  I'm just gonna sit here and hope that one of the more leadership-oriented Barbies just snaps out of it and does something about this whole mess."    Sasha: "So, you're just gonna give up?"  Barbie, letting herself slowly slump to the grass and roll onto her face: "Yes."


Weird Barbie has just told Barbie that she inadvertently created a rip between the Real World and Barbie Land.  She presents Barbie with a choice, holding out two very different shoes.  In the one hand is a beautiful pink high heel, standard Barbie wear.  In the other is a brown Birkenstock.  Comfy, but definitely not Barbie's style.  Weird Barbie, indicating the high heel: "You can go back to your regular life and forget any of this ever happened..."  She holds out the Birkenstock: "Or, you can know the truth about the universe.  The choice is now yours."  Barbie, nearly instantly: "The first one.  The high heel."  Weird Barbie, disappointed: "No.  We'll do a re-do.  You're supposed to want to know."  Barbie, certain: "I don't."  Weird Barbie: "Babe, listen.  You have to want to know.  Do it again."  Barbie: "I'm not Adventure Barbie!  I'm Stereotypical Barbie."  Weird Barbie is getting fed up.  Barbie closes her eyes dreamily: "Okay.  I'm ready to forget now."  Weird Barbie, holding out the Birkenstock: "No!  You're doing this one!  I just gave you a choice so you could feel some sense of control."  Barbie: "So, there is no option one?"  Weird Barbie: "No!  You have to fix the rip yourself!"

The moon is full and Ken and Barbie are standing under its romantic glow together.  Ken leans forward as if to kiss Barbie.  He pauses in mid-air in front of her face, his lips puckered.  As a child's doll, this is as close as he ever gets.  Barbie stands still, unmoved, just waiting for him to finish the gesture.  He pulls back: "Wow."  Barbie smiles mechanically: "You can go now."  Ken, suavely lifting an eyebrow: "I thought I might stay over tonight."  Barbie, innocently: "Why?"  Ken, shrugging: "'Cause we're girlfriend-boyfriend."  Barbie: "To do what?"  Ken shakes his head: "I'm actually not sure."


Barbie is having a dance party at her Dream House.  As she and all of her perfect friends agree, the night is as spectacular as they are.  Barbie, gushing as she dances: "It is the best day ever!  And so is yesterday.  And so is tomorrow…"  All over the house, beautiful Barbies and handsome Kens are dancing.  No deep discussions, no political debates, just dancing and smiling.  A superficial party for a superficial crowd.  Barbie, suddenly: "You guys ever think about dying?"  The music scratches to a halt.  Everyone stops smiling to stare at Barbie in horror.  Barbie's smile fades as she realizes she has crushed the party vibe: "I don't know why I just said that.  I'm just dying to dance!"  The music and dancing immediately resume and everyone's smile returns.  Barbie's smile, however, is noticeably strained.


Barbie's perfect world has fallen apart.  She lies on her face on the ground: "This is the lowest I've ever been."  Suddenly, the scene cuts to commercial as a new Barbie doll is on the market.  Announcer, brightly: "Okay kids, it's time to run out and get the new Depression Barbie!"  A smiling little girl holds out a crying doll with a face full of running mascara.  Announcer: "She wears sweatpants all day and night.  She spent seven hours today on Instagram looking at her estranged best friend's engagement photos while eating a family-sized bag of Starbursts."  Tearful Barbies with messy hair are pictured zoning out in front of TV sets.  Announcer: "Anxiety, panic attacks, and OCD sold separately."
