ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A mother bear called Sky cuddles in her dark den with her brand-new baby cubs.  She lies peacefully, occasionally nuzzling the adorable cubs while they nurse.  Narrator: "They say the first year of parenting is the hardest.  Sky will soon learn that, for bears, it's nearly impossible."  With a high mortality rate, bear cubs face a hard struggle and depend completely on their mothers for survival.  The narrator describes how Sky prepared for the coming of her cubs the previous summer, eating in incredible quantities in order to be able to nurse her cubs through a long and cold winter.  Now, it is time for her to introduce them to the world, where she will guide them on their long and dangerous journey toward the feeding grounds.

Sky and her cubs are beginning the long and treacherous journey across the Alaskan mountains toward the feeding grounds.  After a winter spent in hibernation, Sky is ravenous and eager to reach food.  She begins to jog across the snow, her little cubs trailing behind.  Turning around, Sky grabs little Scout by the scruff of his neck, tossing him in front of her.  Scout, with a cry of protest, runs to keep up.  Narrator: "Nothing like a mother's gentle touch."  This situation repeats itself several times, as Sky occasionally stops to give one of her cubs a toss.  Narrator: "Like a lot of new moms, Sky doesn't have patience for dawdling."  Sky again grabs a cub by the scruff, intending on urging it to move faster, but slips on the snow instead.  Mother and cub roll down a small hill together.  At the bottom, Sky picks up the cub by the scruff and carries it while it squawks in protest.  Narrator: "This doesn't hurt little Scout, but, still, Sky has a bit to learn when it comes to parenting.  Life was certainly easier when she was just a single bear.  Now she can only go as fast as her cubs."

Little Scout peers through the tall grass, watching the older bears with obvious interest.  Narrator: "Scout is looking for a role model.  Which bear will he grow up to be?"  Two large bears angrily begin to fight.  Narrator: "He could be an angry bear, fighting all the time."  Scout watches and the narrator interprets his thoughts: "Hmmm.  Seems like a lot of work."  Two other bears snuggle each other lovingly.  Narrator, again speaking for Scout: "No, no!  These bears are way too cuddly!  He definitely wants to be tougher than this."  The little cub stands on his hind legs, looking out over the community of bears.  Narrator: "Scout's sure he'll find at least one bear he can look up to."  Several other bears lie draped over logs in the meadow, lazily napping in the sunlight.  The narrator implies Scout's disappointment in their lack of energy and ambition.  Narrator, as Scout looks critically at several silly bears rolling in the grass: "Just one bear, one bear who's the toughest, coolest bear!  Anybody?  Hello?"  Scout looks appealingly at a large male bear who has sat up in the grass.  Narrator, as Scout: "You, Sir?  Wanna chase me?"  The bear ignores the cub, choosing instead to eat grass.  Finding no one to engage him, or to capture his own interest, Scout gives up the search.

The giant leader of the bear community, Magnus, peers through the grass at a nearby female.  Narrator: "It's clear he's got one thing in particular on his mind."  Magnus raises his huge head, a small stream of drool dripping out from his jaws.  Narrator, continuing: "Or one she-bear, to be specific."  The female, munching slowly on grass, turns and looks indifferently at Magnus over her shoulder.  Magnus, seeing this as a sign of approval, struts confidently toward her as swanky music begins to play in the background.  The girl-bear begins to amble slowly away, ignoring Magnus's pursuit.  Narrator: "Magnus might have a half-ton of weight to throw around, but he's got no game!"  Magnus persistently pursues the disinterested female.    Narrator, disgusted: "Magnus!  You're so obvious!  Put a little mystery into it!  Pick her some flowers from the meadow, or something."  The two continue their game of slow-motion cat-and-mouse, Magnus now yards behind his love, but still in pursuit.  Narrator: "See, that walking-away, that's bear for 'No,' I think."  And yet, the persistent rejection has no power to deter Magnus, who follows the lady across the meadow.  Narrator, with pity: "Aw.  I'm actually starting to feel sorry for him."

Sky and her cubs enter a new meadow only to find Chinook, a hungry outcast, looking for food.  Chinook ravenously eyes the cubs, hoping to make them his next meal.  The cubs hover beside their mother, who stands bravely to face the large male bear.  Narrator: "There's nowhere to hide.  Sky must stand her ground."  With one cub on her back and another next to her hip, Sky watches warily as Chinook circles them, coming closer and closer.  Narrator: "If Sky shows any weakness, he will attack."  The cubs mew in fear, clinging to their mother.  Sky never lets her guard down, watching carefully until, finally, Chinook begins to walk away.  Narrator: "It worked.  Sky successfully held her ground, and Chinook continues his hunt elsewhere."

The waters at the mouth of the river teem with salmon waiting to make the journey to the spawning ground.  Now that their bodies have become acclimated to the fresh water, they can begin their long and arduous journey upstream.  Fighting against strong currents, the fish will swim up to thirty miles in order to make it to the waters where they were born.  Narrator, with some awe: "It's an almost unbelievable mission.  They rely on chemical cues, the taste of the water, to tell them exactly where to go."  The silvery fish leap out of the white rapids, landing back in the water to continue their struggle upstream.  The fish wriggle incessantly as the water pours over rocks relentlessly.  Narrator: "Often, the waterfalls are just too steep to let them pass."  The salmon throw their bodies up and over rocks, trying to somehow climb up a large waterfall.  Many land back on the rocks, flopping helplessly in their failed effort, but returning, if they can, to attempt it again.  But, as the narrator reveals, this particular waterfall is too steep for the salmon to climb.  They must return to the pool below to wait until the water level rises enough to allow them to continue their journey.  Just above the falls, a peaceful, sunlit pool awaits them...a perfect place to lay their eggs.

A lone salmon swims through the rushing waters of the river.  Its head lifts above the white waters of the rapids, where a huge bear stands stock-still, waiting at the edge of the waterfall for the fish it knows will come.  The dozen-or-so bears who have gathered at the falls are in an advantageous place.  Soon, thousands of salmon will come through the narrow passage, on their way to the spawning grounds.  Each bear takes its own position, waiting and watching the water for the fish to come leaping.  Narrator: "If you want to catch a fat fish, you gotta be in the right place at the right time."  Bear after bear stands, watching as the fish leap around them.  Narrator: "Even then, well, there's no guarantee."  One poor bear watches as a salmon leaps straight toward him, grunting in frustration as it smacks into his head before landing back in the water.  Another bear sits quietly in white, frothing rapids.  A salmon shoots straight into the air, smacking it on the nose and continuing on its merry way.  But the bears eventually find their patience rewarded as they catch fat fish in their powerful jaws.
