ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Eilis and Mary are busy with their usual Sunday rush, serving the customers at Miss Kelly's shop.  A crowd swarms their counter as villagers wait to get their food rations for the day.  A bell tinkles and the shop door opens.  Miss Kelly peers over the heads of the haggard-looking mothers and spies well-to-do Mrs. Brady entering the shop.  Miss Kelly's pinched face opens into an ingratiating smile.  Ignoring the rest of the patrons, she immediately asks Mrs. Brady what she would like to order.  The instant Mrs. Brady gives her order, Miss Kelly tells Eilis to get it for her.  The poor woman whom Eilis had been about to help cannot stop herself from saying, indignantly: "I was next!"  Miss Kelly looks at the woman condescendingly: "And you still are."  Eilis, looking embarrassed, serves the woman in pearls before continuing to help the woman in a faded housedress.

The ship from Ireland to America is setting sail.  A crowd of well-wishers waits on the dock below, sending their loved ones off to an unknown future.  For many, it will be years, if ever, before they see each other again.  Eilis stands on the deck of the boat, blowing kisses at her sister and mother.  Her face shows the pain she is feeling, and it is mirrored on the faces of her family.  The same look is on the rest of the people in the crowd.  Mothers clutch their coats to their chests, biting back their tears.  Fathers stand resolutely, surreptitiously wiping their own eyes.  All three decks of the ship are lined with young people, watching their families move slowly away.  Finally, Mary can take it no longer and turns to leave, Rose clutching at her arm.

The ladies at Mrs. Keogh's boarding house are sitting around the dinner table, discussing their Christmas plans.  Mrs. Keogh turns to Eilis: "Father Flood told me about your Christmas plans."  Eilis nods.  Diana, wrinkling her nose in disgust: "You're not serving lunch to the old fellas who've nowhere to go, are you?"  Diana nods her head toward Patty: "He asks us every year and we always say no."  Sheila: "Eilis, you're a saint.  They smell awful."  Patty, snarkily: "Sheila knows how they smell because that's where she goes husband-hunting."  Diana snorts loudly, prompting Mrs. Keogh to return the talk toward Eilis: "It's a marvelous thing you're doing, Eilis.  A Christian thing.  I wish there were more like you."  She looks pointedly at Patty and Diana, who are suitably subdued.  Later, Eilis stands with Father Flood as a crowd of elderly, shabby men enter the dining hall.  Eilis, learning that all of the starving men are Irish: "Why don't they go home?"  Father Flood, surprised she could even ask: "If there's nothing there for clever young girls such as yourself, there's gonna be even less for men like these."  The two watch as the grateful men file past the table laden with food.  Father, continuing: "Some of them have been here fifty years.  They've lost touch with everyone.  These are the men who built the tunnels, the bridges, the highways.  God alone knows what they live on now."  Eilis watches soberly as the seemingly endless crowd continues to flow into the room.

Eilis stares at herself in the bathroom mirror, filled with thoughts of Tony's mention of marriage.  When Sheila enters the room, Eilis decides to ask her for advice.  Eilis, almost apologetically: "Why aren't you married?"  Sheila: "Because my husband met somebody else and left me."  Eilis: "Oh, I'm sorry.  And, well, would you get married again?"  Sheila understands that Eilis is thinking of marriage herself.  She smiles, then answers, sarcastically: "Would I get married again?  No.  I want to be waiting outside the bathroom of my boarding house forever."  Seeing that Eilis has taken her seriously, she answers earnestly: "Of course I do.  That's why I go to that wretched dance every week.  I want to be waiting outside my own bathroom...while some bad-tempered fella with hair growing out of his ears reads the newspaper on the toilet.  Then I'll wish I was back here, talking to you."

Father Flood has just told Eilis that her beloved sister, Rose, died suddenly and unexpectedly.  Father Flood: "I think perhaps she was ill and she knew she was ill, and she didn't tell anybody."  Eilis is heartbroken, regretting that she was an ocean away when her sister died: "Why did I ever come here?"  Father Flood: "Rose wanted a better life for you.  She loved how well you were doing."  Rose, sobbing: "But I'll never see her again!  That's right, isn't it, Father?  I'll never see her again?"  Father Flood, looking steadily into Eilis's eyes: "You know that I think you will.  And that she'll be watching over you every day for the rest of your life."

Eilis is standing on the deck of the ship, headed back to America.  A young girl stands behind her, staring uncertainly at the back of Eilis's head.  The girl, obviously nervous and scared to be moving so far away, keeps asking Eilis questions about America.  At first, Eilis resents the intrusion into her personal thoughts, but, suddenly, she remembers what it was like on her first voyage.  She turns around and begins to tell the girl everything she wishes she had known.  From advice on overcoming seasickness, to negotiating the shipboard bathroom, to entering the New World, Eilis gives the girl tips that will help her journey go more smoothly.  Eagerly, the girl absorbs everything Eilis says until they both pass through immigration.  Eilis smiles encouragingly at the girl, giving her one final nod before they part.
