ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Flint is getting a tour of the Live Company facility when he sees several of the elite inventors (Thinkquanauts) entering their own private work chamber.  Flint tries to follow his heroes, but Barb stops him, telling the ambitious young scientist that he must earn his right to wear the coveted orange vest.  Cramming him into an elevator full of other hopeful inventors, Barb sends the group to the basement, where a hive of tiny cubicles forms the habitat where the inventors will live out their working lives.  Cracking his knuckles, Flint begins to work with lightning-quick speed.  His fingers flying over the computer, he cranks out idea after idea, testing out all of his new inventions on his supportive, but harassed father.  As soon as he generates an invention, the company president pops up on his computer screen, asking: "Can your ideas change the world?"  Flint nods excitedly, pressing the button to submit the idea to the president.  The Re-Freeze-a-Fan, Fork-and-Knife-and-Spoon-anator, Grocery Deliverator, and Invisible Coffee Table are submitted, and, in no time at all, Flint has cranked out more than a hundred creative, but questionable, world-changing inventions.

It is the Annual Vesting Ceremony and thousands of hopeful inventors have assembled to hear who will win the coveted orange vest.  Flint, certain he is going to win, has come prepared with his own "celebration-in-a-box."  Instructing his monkey, Steve, to engage the box when his name is announced, Flint excitedly listens to the company president as he prepares to announce the winner.  Chester V: "We have received thousands of invention submissions, and, today, one of them will be deemed Thinquanaut-worthy!"  The orange vest is suspended in a glowing beam of light, waiting for its new owner to claim it.  As Chester V begins to give hints as to the identity of the worthy winner, Flint becomes more and more certain that it must be him.  He bites his lips and clenches his fists in excited anticipation.  So certain is he of his success, that he jumps up from his seat and screams in victory as Chester V announces the name of another inventor.  Realizing his mistake, Flint slumps back into his seat, his shoulders sagging.  Unfortunately, he has forgotten his previous instructions to Steve.  Steve sets off the party-in-a-box, covering a quarter of the stadium with bright paint and turning all eyes onto the humiliated Flint.

Chester and Flint are trying to resurrect Flint's old lab without touching the electrified water at the bottom.  Dangling by their bungee-like underpants, the two scientists reminisce about their childhood spent avoiding the taunts of bullies.  Flint is amazed to discover that his hero was picked on as a child: "You were bullied too?"  Chester: "Absolutely.  People like us are always bullied.  Sometimes I wish I'd kept my bullies around so I could crush them with my success."  Chester thinks this is why Flint hangs around his old tormentor, Brent.  Flint: "Sure, he used to be a bully, but he's my friend now."  Chester, intensely: "Friend?  A bully can never be your friend."  Chester tells Flint an ancient Chinese proverb: "Stew offered by a bully is poisoned broth."

Sam and her friends are making their way through the food jungle when they are surprised by a ferocious-seeming cheespider (a giant, growling hamburger with french fry legs).  The others are all for destroying the beast, but Sam wonders whether its vicious appearance might be deceiving.  Slowly, she stretches her hand out to stroke the sesame seed bun.  The creature responds affectionately, taking on the mannerisms of a friendly dog.  Sam coaxes her friends to meet the cheespider: "It's okay, guys.  See?  She's not mean.  She's just a little...beefy."  The burger flops onto her side so Brent can scratch her bun.

Flint, armed with the BS-USB device, has come to destroy his invention, the FLDSMDFR.  He finds the machine resting atop a candy cliff, nestled inside a pool of water.  A beam of glowing light emanates upward out of the machine, and green vines grow out of it in a geometric pattern.  A sound like a beating heart fills the air as Flint wades toward the machine.  Regretfully, he stretches out his arm to destroy it, but stops when the machine begins to pulsate.  Rainbows of light fill Flint's eyes and he watches in awe as the machine begins to create...life.  The machine speaks a word, "Marshmallow," and a bulge travels down one of the vines, landing in a bud-like pod.  The glowing bud pushes out the marshmallow, which lands in the water and quickly swims to its waiting "mother."  Cooing and purring, the creatures snuggle each other, and Flint is amazed.  Flint, looking at the gathered marshmallows as they hug each other and smile over the new birth: "They're like a family."  Flint realizes that destroying the machine would be a mistake.  He sits down and is immediately covered by marshmallows who snuggle and pet him.

Flint, knowing he can't save his friends from the evil Chester V by himself, has come to recruit the help of the foodimals.  He addresses the assembled creatures, admitting to them that he has made the mistake of thinking himself self-sufficient.  Flint: "Someone once told me that I didn't need friends.  That I could accomplish more by myself.  I know now more than ever that he was wrong.  We need all the friends we can get.  And I need your help.  All of you."  The foodimals, along with Flint's father, gather together to help Flint succeed in his mission.  A song plays in the background as the friends cheerfully work together, each with their own task: ? "Life is so much better with all of us together." ?

Tim, a burly blue-collar fisherman, has never completely related to his smart, skinny, scientific son.  But, at long last, the two are fishing together.  Tim is patiently instructing the awkward young man to cast his line.  Flint, weakly thrusting out his arm and chucking his entire rod into the water: "Like this?"  Tim gives his son a bear hug, placing his own rod in Flint's hands: "Here.  Let me show you how."  Tim holds Flint's arms like a puppet and casts the line into the water.  Flint, excitedly: "Am I fishing?"  Tim, smiling proudly: "Yup."  Flint: "I'm fishing!"  Suddenly, Flint's line jerks powerfully and he wrestles with all his strength to reel in his fish.  Tim looks on encouragingly: "Steady!  Steady!  Oh, he's a fighter!"  Finally, Flint succeeds in wresting the fish from the water.  Tim's smile fades slightly as he sees the teeny wriggling anchovy on the end of Flint's line.  But Flint's pride is undiminished by the size of his catch: "I got one!"  He waves it proudly in front of his father's face: "I got one, Dad!"  Flint looks hopefully at his father: "Can we do this again?  Like, all the time?"  Tim's manly face breaks into a huge, tender smile: "You betcha, Skipper."
