ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Miss Daisy is getting into her car (a new one that her son bought for her).  She starts it up and switches the gears, beginning to drive backward.  She pushes down on the accelerator and squeals in surprise when the car begins to speed up instead of slow down.  She tries to shift into a different gear, but doesn't do it successfully, and the car continues its backward path, straight into a bunch of bushes.  Miss Daisy screams as the car rolls halfway off the embankment between her house and the neighbor's house.  She pushes past the branches now sticking through her car window and gets out of the car.  She walks around the front of the car, just in time to see it roll the rest of the way into the neighbor's yard.

Oscar, an employee of the Werthan Cotton Company, is stuck inside the freight elevator.  Several men are on the ground floor, all shouting advice at the same time.  None of the advice is helping.  The owner of the company, Boolie, arrives and adds his own ideas: "Fiddle with the lever."  Oscar: "It fiddled out.  I done everything I know how."  Boolie tells his secretary to call the elevator company, but she tells him they're too backed up to fix it soon.  With an important job hanging in the balance, Boolie wants the elevator fixed immediately.  He tells her to call them again, and the other employees resume shouting out their advice to Oscar.  Meanwhile, Hoke has entered the building and hears all the commotion around the elevator.  He yells up some specific instructions to Oscar that cause the elevator to begin working again.  Everyone applauds as Oscar is able to get back to the ground.  Boolie asks Hoke how he knew how to fix the elevator.  Hoke: "I used to drive for the Avondale Dairy, sir.  They had an old, sorry elevator worse than this one here."

Hoke is pleased because he has finally convinced Miss Daisy to let him drive her somewhere.  (Daisy's son hired Hoke as chauffeur, but she's too proud to want to be driven anywhere.)  Miss Daisy tells Hoke that she can run a car all by herself.  As she's talking, she interrupts herself to tell Hoke that he's speeding.  Hoke: "We only doin' about 19 miles an hour."  Miss Daisy: "I like to go under the speed limit."  Hoke: "But the speed limit is 35 here."  Miss Daisy: "The slower you go, the more you save on gas."  Hoke, mumbling under his breath: "Ain't hardly moving.  Might as well walk to the Piggly Wiggly."  Miss Daisy, indignantly: "Is this your car?  Do you pay for the gas?  My fine son may think I'm losing my abilities, but I'm still in control of what goes on in my car!"  Miss Daisy continues to exert her control all the way to the store.

Miss Daisy is leaving temple after service.  She walks down the steps beside two of her friends, and all three ladies have their mouths open when they see Miss Daisy's chauffeur waiting out front with her Cadillac.  Miss Daisy, embarrassed, quickly gets into the car.  Hoke, the chauffeur, wonders if he's done something to upset Miss Daisy.  Miss Daisy: "You had the car parked right in front of the front door of the temple like I was the Queen of Romania!  Everybody saw you!  Didn't I tell you to wait for me in the back?"  Hoke argues that two other chauffeurs were sitting right behind him, so Miss Daisy wasn't the only one being picked up in front.  Miss Daisy: "Made me look like a fool!  Miriam and Beulah and them...I could see what they were thinking when we came out of service."  Hoke: "What's that?"  Miss Daisy: "That I was trying to pretend I was rich."  Miss Daisy, who came from a poor family but is now wealthy, worries that people will think she's trying to put on airs.  She tries to hide her wealth so no one will think she's rich.

Miss Daisy has called her son, Boolie, to her house for an "emergency."  Boolie arrives, expecting to find a disaster and instead finds his mother with an empty can of salmon and an accusation that her chauffeur is stealing.  Boolie raises his eyebrows in disbelief: "You mean he stole a can of salmon?"  Miss Daisy.  "Oh, I knew.  I knew there was something funny.  They all take things, you know.  So I counted."  Boolie is having a hard time taking his mother seriously: "You counted?"  Miss Daisy: "The silverware first.  Then the linen napkins.  And then I went into the pantry."  She moves into the pantry and Boolie reluctantly follows.  Miss Daisy, dramatically: "And the first thing that caught my eye was a hole behind the lima beans.  And I knew right away...there were only eight cans of salmon!  I had nine!  Three for a dollar, on sale."  Boolie has had enough.  He tries to pay his mother for the 33-cent salmon, but she says she doesn't want money, she wants her "things" back.  Boolie doesn't believe that Hoke stole.  It's obvious that Boolie doesn't consider taking food stealing, especially when he walks to his mother's fridge and begins eating out of it, uninvited.  Miss Daisy is convinced her chauffeur's character is black, claiming he'll never admit to his misdeed.  Hoke arrives at the house and Boolie asks to have a talk with him.  Miss Daisy stands self-righteously next to Boolie, waiting to accuse her employee.  However, before either one of them can say a word about it, Hoke pulls out a new can of salmon and tells Miss Daisy that he had eaten one the day before, but brought her one back to replace it.  Boolie tries to hide his smile and Miss Daisy quickly changes the subject by leaving to get dressed.

Florine, the wife of a wealthy businessman, is preparing to host a Christmas dinner for friends and relatives.  Boolie, her husband, is listening to Christmas music and can hear her yelling at the maid in the kitchen.  Finally, Florine calls him into the room to help her chew out the maid.  Boolie reluctantly joins them, hearing his wife's shrill voice all the way to the kitchen.  Florine, to the maid: "Do you have any idea what it takes to give a Christmas reception?  Do you?  It takes an eye for detail.  I told you a million times, Katie Bell, write it down!  More I cannot do."  Boolie walks into the room and Florine turns to him, almost wailing: "We're out of coconut!"  Boolie can't help a little laugh escaping: "I'm sure we can manage."  Katie Bell, the unfortunate maid, tells Boolie that she had told Florine they were out of coconut.  Florine: "But you didn't write it down!  Now, I don't need to stand around and listen to excuses on Christmas day!"  She turns angrily to her husband before storming out of the kitchen: "Maybe you can figure out how to serve ambrosia to sixty people without coconut.  I give up!"  Once his wife is gone, Boolie turns to the distraught Katie Bell, encouragingly: "Don't worry, Katie Bell.  It isn't quite the end of the world."

Miss Daisy and her black chauffeur, Hoke, are driving through Alabama and have stopped by the side of the road to eat their lunch.  Suddenly, a threatening voice calls out to Hoke: "Hey, boy!"  Hoke turns around to see two police officers walking towards him suspiciously.  Officer: "What do you think you're doing with this car (a Cadillac)?"  Miss Daisy: "This is my car, officer."  The officer asks to see Hoke's license and the car's registration.  He looks at the registration, asking Miss Daisy about her last name.  She tells him she has a German background.  The officer looks her up and down.  He then looks carefully at Hoke's license and back again at Hoke before returning the license to him.  The two officers walk away.  Hoke and Miss Daisy, their break ruined, drive away.  Officer, to his partner: "An old n----r and an old Jew woman taking off down the road together.  Now that is one sorry sight."  (Caution: 'n----r' used as racial slur)

Boolie has come to tell his mother that he won't be attending the dinner being given for Martin Luther King, Jr.  Boolie: "You know I believe Martin Luther King has done some mighty fine things."  Miss Daisy: "Boolie, if you don't want to go, why don't you just come right out and say so?"  Boolie: "I want to go.  You know how I feel about him.  I still have to conduct business in this town."  Miss Daisy, disappointed in her son: "I see.  Werthen Bag will go out of business if you attend the King dinner."  Boolie: "Not exactly.  But a lot of men I do business with wouldn't like it.  They might...snicker a little and call me Martin Luther Werthen behind my back.  Maybe I wouldn't hear about certain lunch meetings at the commerce club."  Boolie worries that people might start giving their business to his competitors if he supported the black community.  Boolie, sighing: "I don't know.  Maybe it wouldn't happen, but sometimes that's the way things work."

Miss Daisy is attending a dinner given for Martin Luther King, Jr.  She is in a crowd of mostly white, wealthy Southerners who are all listening to Dr. King's speech.  King: "There are in the white South millions of people of goodwill, whose voice is yet unheard, whose cost is yet unclear, and whose courageous acts are yet unseen.  These millions are called upon to gird their courage to speak out and to offer leadership that is needed.  History will have to record the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the vitriolic words and the violent actions of the bad people, but the appalling silence and indifference of the good people.  Our generation will have to repent not only for the words and acts of the children of darkness, but also for the fears and apathy of the children of light."

Hoke, a chauffeur, arrives at his elderly employer's house and is surprised she isn't downstairs waiting for him.  Suddenly, she comes down the stairs, hair bedraggled, and still in her pajamas.  She is searching frantically for her school papers.  Hoke, confused, has never seen Miss Daisy in such a state.  At first, he can't figure out why she, a retired teacher, would be looking for school papers.  But, as her ramblings go on, it becomes clearer that Miss Daisy is losing her mind.  Hoke follows her around the house, trying to help her, but she won't listen to reason.  Hoke is genuinely worried as Miss Daisy becomes more and more agitated.  Finally, Hoke gets on the phone and calls Miss Daisy's son to come over.  Hearing the concern in Hoke's voice, her son agrees to come immediately.

Daisy is severely agitated after suffering an episode of age-related dementia (see Scene # CV04297).  Very independent, she doesn't want to be a trouble to anyone and worries that her life is now over.  Hoke, her chauffeur of many years, is trying to encourage her.  Hoke: "Miss Daisy, now, ain't nothing wrong with you.  Your mind done take a turn this morning, that's all.  You're gonna snap right back, quick as you let yourself."  Daisy feels helpless to get better.  Hoke tries to get her to see past her problems and realize her blessings: "You a lucky woman, you know that?  You rich.  You got folks that care about what happen to you."  Daisy: "I'm being trouble.  I don't want to be trouble to anybody."  Hoke: "Now, you want something to cry about, I'm gonna run you out there to that state home, let you see what's lyin' around out there."  Daisy: "I'm sorry.  I'm so sorry... Hoke, you're my best friend.  No, really.  You are."  She takes his hand.  Moved, Hoke stands quietly, holding her hand.
