ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A view from space shows a giant asteroid speeding toward prehistoric Earth.  On the surface of the planet, a large volcano dominates a barren wasteland.  Dinosaurs and humans battle over the limited resources the sparse landscape offers.  Suddenly, in the midst of the day-to-day battle for sustenance, the asteroid strikes.  Humans and beasts alike are terrified, running futilely from the resulting cloud of ash and rubble.  When the dust clears, only man has survived to face the new age of the planet's history.

Dug approaches the chief with an idea to expand the tribe's rather minimal diet of rabbit: "Couldn't we try hunting something, well, you know, bigger?"  Chief: "What?  Like a hare?"  Dug: "No, like a buffalo or a mammoth."  The chief laughs incredulously: "You want us to hunt a five-ton, bone-crushing mammoth?"  Dug, optimistically: "Yeah.  Why not?  I really believe we could do it, Chief."  The chief points at cave paintings depicting their ancestors gathered around something that looks like a small ball: "Look at our ancestors.  You don't see them hunting big things, do you?  They hunted little round beasts...of some sort."

Dug is attempting to explain the game of soccer (British football) to his fellow cavemen.  Holding up a ball for them to see: "This is a football."  There is a chorus of "oohs" and "aahs."  Pointing to his right and speaking simply, as if to children: "One side tries to kick the ball into this goal."  (More "oohs.")  Pointing to his left: "And the other side tries to kick the ball in that goal."  (More "aahs.")  Barry, scratching his head: "Football sounds hard."  Gravelle, raising a hand: "What happens if you kick the ball in the goal?"  Dug, reporting only from what he's seen: "Well, if you kick the ball in the goal, then other men hug and kiss you."  Magma immediately volunteers to be the first to try it.  Dug, putting the ball on the ground in front of Magma: "I'm going to try and get the ball, and you have to stop me, okay?"  Dug runs toward Magma, encouraging her to stop him.  Magma pulls back a heavy fist and punches him in the face, knocking Dug to the ground.  The rest of the team cheers their approval.  Magma, her arms raised in the air in victory: "Football's brilliant!"  Bobnar helps Dug to his feet: "That can't be right.  Surely you can't hit other players?"  Dug, trying to explain more clearly: "No, you're supposed to attack the ball."  Immediately, everyone pulls out sticks and clubs and runs, screaming, toward the soccer ball.  Dug picks up the ball protectively: "No, no, no!  Not weapons!"  Asbo, to clarify: "Just use fist?"  Dug: "No!  No fighting at all!"  Magma, disappointed: "Where's the fun in that?"  Dug appears to wonder the same thing.

Dug wakes his sleeping team with a bucket of icy water: "Rise and shine!  Training time!"  With the initial efforts of the inexperienced team, Dug is tempted to be discouraged.  Players kick each other instead of the ball, the pig keeps trying to get in on the action, and players not used to hard work try to wander off the field.  Dug grabs one such idler and forces him back to work.  Barry, glumly: "Football's hard."  Gravelle, whining: "Dug, my toe hurts!"  Dug and the chief sigh in exasperation.  Next, Dug must pry the ball out of hungry Grubup's mouth.  Dug, almost at his limit: "Come on everyone!  We should be able to do this!"

Grubup, hungry after soccer practice, suddenly scents the smell of duck.  Turning around, he sees a duck in the distance.  Excited for lunch, Grubup grabs a large rock and heaves it toward the bird.  The camera pans in close as the boulder sails through the air.  However, when it strikes the back of the duck's head, it looks like a small pebble.  The duck, uninjured but annoyed, turns around and sees Grubup.  Angry, it starts to waddle toward the caveman.  Grubup watches in startled confusion as what appeared to be a normal-sized duck from a distance turns out to be an enormous, man-eating bird.

Goona tosses a handful of soccer collectors' cards at her teammates.  The cards depict the rival team's players, all of whom are big stars in the soccer world.  Goona: "Make no mistake, these are the best players bronze can buy."  Gravelle, looking at the perfect stats on the cards: "There's no way we can beat such a great team!"  The rest of the team sighs in discouragement.  Goona: "They may be great, but what they're not is a team.  They're eleven players who each think they're the star.  That's their weakness, and that's how you can beat them!"  Dug stands up, smiling: "Goona's right.  They may be better players than us, but we have something they don't.  We've got each other.  And if we work together, then maybe we can do this."  The rest of the team smiles and nods in agreement.

Lord Nooth smugly shows Dug a cave full of ancient paintings depicting Dug's ancestors playing soccer (British football).  Nooth, explaining the paintings: "Your ancestors did not just play football.  They invented the game.  You even taught other tribes how to play."  Dug looks in excitement at paintings showing smiling people on a soccer field.  Nooth, leading Dug toward other, gloomier paintings: "But you had a problem.  No matter how hard you tried, you just always ended up losing, match after match, game after game."  With growing horror, Dug sees pictures of defeat.  Nooth: "In fact, after many, many moons, you just gave up altogether.  It was all too painful for you.  It turns out your tribe were totally crap at football."  Dug looks at a picture of a tearful team kicking a ball off a cliff.  Noose, smiling meanly: "You're losers, caveman.  Always have been.  Always will be."  Dug: "No!  It can't be true!"  Nooth: "Do you really believe you can beat us tomorrow?  Face it, caveman.  You and your tribe, you just don't have it in you."  Dug looks sadly at a painting of a man who has given up.  (Caution: 'crap' spoken, painting of cavemen 'mooning' opponents shown)

In the final minutes of the tied game, Lord Nooth suddenly appears on the soccer field, dressed in the referee's uniform: "I am the new ref!"  Dug, knowing Lord Nooth is a sponsor of the rival team and, as such, hardly impartial: "That's not fair!"  Nooth, sarcastically: "Oh, isn't it?  Let's ask the new ref."  Nooth proceeds to have an imaginary dialogue with himself, ending in the proclamation that his new position is totally fair.  Nooth: "Play on!"  Turning around, he instructs the rival team: "It's injury time, understand?"  The rival players sneer their agreement.  From the moment Nooth blows the whistle to begin play, the rival team members commit flagrant fouls against Dug's team, all under the approval of the new "referee."  Everyone from the audience members to the commentators can see the unfair bias of Nooth's calls.  His stock phrase after a foul becomes: "I didn't see anything."  The crowd begins to boo, tired of the injustice.  Finally, the commentators are moved to respond when one of Dug's teammates is "pantsed" by a rival: "Oh, that's way below the belt!"

In the final minutes of the tied game, the rival team has earned a penalty shot.  With the famous Jurgend making the kick, the game is all but lost for the cavemen.  Jurgend himself has no doubt of his success and kicks the ball confidently toward the goal.  Much to everyone's surprise, Hognob succeeds in blocking the goal and the ball shoots up into the sky.  Jurgend and his team of hotshots immediately lunge for the ball, each fighting to get the glory for themselves.  Jurgen, shouting at his teammates: "My ball!  Don't crowd me!"  Dug and his team, however, work together to get the ball.  By leaping from teammate to teammate, Dug is able to jump high enough to get to the ball before Jurgend.  He kicks it with all his might, sending the ball blazing toward the opponents' goal.  Right on target, Dug scores!  The audience goes wild.
