ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Ember is riding her motorcycle along the canal road when she sees a wall of raging floodwaters headed towards her town.   She looks down and sees her parents working outside their store, unaware that danger is headed their way.  She tries calling out to them, but they can't hear her from her vantage point above the town.  Quickly, she turns down a path that will take her into the town itself, directly into the path of the oncoming water.  She speeds along, just ahead of the water, and calls out a warning to everyone she sees: "Water's coming!  Watch out!"  People hear her warning and dive for safety.  Ember continues calling out: "Flash flood!  Hurry!  Get to higher ground!"  Everyone who hears her is saved from the flood waters.  Finally, Ember sees her parents and calls out her warning.  They hear in time to climb onto a makeshift raft.  


The local airball team, the Windbreakers, have finally made it to the playoffs.  Gale, Ember, and Wade are watching the game when Lutz, a star player, makes a bad error.  The game is nearly over and his flub gave the opposing team the edge they needed.  The crowd boos Lutz, whose shoulders sag sadly at the sound.  But Wade feels sorry for Lutz.  He knows why his head hasn't been in the game: "He's been in such a funk 'cause his mom has been sick."  Wade is determined to lift Lutz's spirits.  He begins to cheer for him, as loudly as he can: "We love you, Lutz!"  Then, he begins to persuade the audience to cheer along with him and soon the entire stadium is rooting for Lutz.  With all of the positive encouragement, Lutz's whole demeanor shifts.  He smiles broadly and his shoulders stop sagging.  A look of determination crosses his face.  He makes a skillful play and scores!


Clod, an earth elemental, has a crush on Ember.  He waits outside her work to ask her to the spring festival.  He combs his hair proudly, willing Ember to admire his looks.  Ember just grunts in disgust.  Clod, who is several years younger, tells Ember why she has to be his date: "Check it out…I'm all grown up!"  He points to a small flower sprouting from his armpit: "And I smell good."  He offers the flower to Ember dramatically: "My Queen."  It disintegrates from between her fingers: "Sorry, buddy, elements don't mix."  Clod continues to beg, telling Ember she never comes to the city.  Ember: "Sorry, but it would take an act of God to get me across that bridge."  Clod, ever witty, wiggles his eyebrows provocatively: "An act of God, or an act of Clod?"  Ember just looks at him in disgust.


Wade and Ember are in love, but they are literally fire and water.  Wade is willing to risk it all just to be with the one he loves.  He smiles at her, holding out his hand, but she refuses to take it: "No.  Wade, we can't touch."  Wade, hopefully: "Maybe we can."  Ember, afraid: "No."  Wade: "Let's see what happens.  And, if it's a disaster, then we'll know this would never work."  Ember, jumping to the worst-case scenario: "I could vaporize you!  You could extinguish me!"  Wade, calmly holding out his hand: "Let's start small."  Slowly, Ember places her hand over his own.  She is surprised when nothing bad happens.  Cautiously, they try it again.  Their hands send up vapors of steam but nothing more than that.  They smile, realizing for the first time that they can be together.  They hold hands and dance, smiling into each others' eyes.

Ember struggles with her temper.  Prone to irritability and in a customer service job, she often has to stuff her feelings of anger at work.  It is the day of the big sale and customers flood into the store as soon as Ember opens the door.  From the first moment, she has to work to maintain her composure.  A lady almost knocks down a carefully-constructed display, a clueless customer pulls all of the sale stickers off the items, and another woman breaks a number of fragile knick-knacks.  Ember forces a smile onto her face as she is swarmed by endless questions and unreasonable demands.  Breathing deeply, she tries to remain calm, but her frustration mounts until it is uncontainable.  Turning purple, she runs down to the cellar and explodes.  Flames roar from her body.  Immediately, Ember sees that while giving vent to her emotions felt good, it had terrible consequences.  The pipes under the store break from the force of her explosion.  Water floods into the stock room, and by the time Ember fixes the leak, the entire basement is under water.  Ember, mad now at herself: "Stupid temper!  Not today!  What is wrong with me?"


Wade, a city inspector, and Ember are looking for a leak in the city's water system.  Wade approaches a damaged wall near the main canal, sure that the leak originates there.  Suddenly, a large ship passes by and water floods into the opening.  Wade: "Run for your life!"  Wade and Ember quickly climb onto a ledge.  They are safe, but the water is pouring towards Fire Town.  Ember knows they have to do something or the town will be destroyed.  Thinking fast, she grabs some sandbags and throws them down to Wade.  Wade, made of water himself, is able to absorb some of the floodwaters in order to gather enough strength to lay the bags against the hole.  Ember continues to throw down bags and Wade places them until the hole is completely covered and the water is down to a trickle.  Fire Town is saved by their quick thinking and teamwork.


Ember feels terrible that her father's shop has been destroyed.  She approaches him tearfully, head hanging: "Dad, this is all my fault."  Ember feels responsible for what has happened even though she did her best to stop it.  Now, she feels she has no choice but to tell her father how she has always felt: "I don't want to run the shop.  I know that was your dream, but it's not mine.  I'm sorry.  I'm a bad daughter."  Ember feels guilty because she knows her parents have always expected her to inherit their store.  But her father surprises her.  Dad, tenderly: "Ember, the shop was never the dream.  You were the dream.  You were always the dream."  Ember and her father embrace.


Bernie is training his daughter to take his place as manager of the family store.  He steps aside and lets her handle the next customer.  Unfortunately for Ember, the next customer is a tough one.  He repeatedly demands free merchandise and when Ember explains he must make a purchase to get the free item, he insists he only wants the free one.  Their conversation gets more and more heated as it goes in circles.  Man: "But the customer is always right."  Ember: "Not in this case."  The man continues to take "free" items from the display box as Ember continues to take them away from him.  Finally, the man erupts: "Just give me one for free!"  Ember blows her top, yelling: "That's not how this works!"  Flames erupt all over the store from Ember's explosion and customers turn to see what is happening.  Bernie rushes to the register, gives the customer a handful of free items and takes Ember aside.  Bernie: "Calm, calm.  Sometimes customer can be tough.  Just take breath...and make connection.  When you can do that and not lose temper, then you will be ready to take over shop."
