ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Information about the licenses and subscriptions that you purchase from us including your method of payment.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Albert and Eva, two divorcees, are enjoying their first date.  Over dinner, Eva begins to ask Albert questions about his divorce.  She jokingly asks permission to consult with Albert's ex-wife.  Albert, laughing: "We all should put a sign on our necks and write down what's wrong with us...get it all out there."  Eva: "Good idea.  What would your sign say?"  Albert: "I don't know.  I'm a slob.  I have ear hair."  Eva: "So, you're a slob, huh?" Albert: "Not like a dirty, hoarder slob.  Like, a normal, disorganized one."  Albert divulges that his wife was extremely neat and Albert's sloppy habits drove her nuts.  Eva: "I mean, come on.  It's hard to live with somebody.  Don't you think?"  Albert shares an example of a small irritant in his marriage that grew into a large problem.  He had a habit of picking the onions out of guacamole that really bothered his wife.  Eva: "I think that sounds pretty harmless."  Albert: "That's what I thought.  But, by the end of our marriage, it made her gag."  (Caution: "crap" used several times)

Albert and Eva are on a date and having dinner in a trendy restaurant.  Suddenly, the background music grows louder and Eva asks Albert if it seems to him that they turned up the music.  Albert: "No, I think you just got older."  Eva, wanting to be able to hear Albert's conversation, calls the waiter over to their table: "Would you mind turning down this music a little bit?  I'm old."  The waiter unsmilingly refuses, calling Eva "ma'am."  Eva looks slightly revolted.  Albert: "I find that I don't like younger people."  Eva theatrically holds a hand up to her ear, adopting an elderly voice: "Eh?"

Eva arrives home from a date to find her daughter, Ellen, and her friend, Chloe, quietly chatting in the living room.  Chloe, her voice sounding mildly distressed, appears to be struggling with a decision.  Ellen offers her friend advice: "So, don't do it."  Eva breaks into the conversation between the two teenagers: "What are you guys talking about?"  Chloe: "I can't decide if I should sleep with Chris or not.  I don't wanna do something I'll regret, but I also really like him, and I don't know what to do."  Eva: "And you're a virgin?"  Chloe: "Yeah."  Eva decides to offer some "motherly" advice: "Okay, here's what I say.  I say, you can't live in fear of making a mistake.  If you wanna do it, you should just do it."

Eva asks Albert about his daughter, Tess.  Albert speaks glowingly of his eighteen-year-old, but admits that he lives in dread of her journey to college in the fall.  He worries about her safety as she'll be living far away, in New York City.  Eva: "I know what you mean, though.  This whole going away to college thing...we just send 'em off?  We're not gonna know where they are all the time?"  Eva admits that she also worries about what her own life will look like when her daughter is no longer at home.  She and Albert agree that the thought of putting their children on a plane and sending them across the country alone is heartbreaking.  Eva, thinking of her soon-to-be empty life: "We're gonna have to develop hobbies, I think.  I suppose I already have one, 'cause I knit.  So, I'll just spend the rest of my life knitting."

Eva and her ex-husband, Peter, have gathered with a few friends to celebrate their daughter's high school graduation.  Almost everyone around the table is either divorced or affected by divorce, and the topic naturally enters the conversation.  Chloe casually mentions never seeing her father, who lives in another state.  When she laments the fact that he remarried a strange woman, Sarah, the only woman at the table not divorced, lifts her glass in a mock toast to second marriages.  Sarah's husband, Will, looks at her in surprise, wondering, with reason, how much of her toast is a joke.  The two spend the remainder of the discussion throwing little jabs at one another and hinting at divorce.  Peter's new wife, Fran, says that second marriage can be an improvement because everyone is a little older and wiser.  Sarah seems interested in the thought: "Yeah, maybe second marriages work because people have figured out how to compromise.  I mean, if I got married again, I'd definitely be on the lookout for the inevitable problems."  Will looks flabbergasted, stunned that his wife appears to have forgotten that she has an existing husband.  Eva asks Fran what her first husband was like.  Fran: "He was a lovely, lovely man.  But, not for me."  Eva appears impressed with her attitude: "Ah, very grown up."  The remainder of the dinner-table conversation is then spent rehashing an old squabble between Eva and Peter.  Leaving the restaurant, Eva appears deep in thought.  Eva, to Peter: "Let me ask you a question.  When people ask you why we got divorced, what do you tell them?"  Peter: "I just say that I don't think you and I should have been together."  They rejoin the rest of their party.  Eva, looking sad and depressed, covertly watches Peter as he laughs with the rest of the couples.

Eva and Peter have brought their daughter, Ellen, to the airport to see her off to college.  Having arrived at security, the three stop to say goodbye.  Eva worries that Ellen won't be able to find her room when she reaches campus.  Peter reaches out a comforting hand to Eva: "She's gonna be great."  Ellen, her voice breaking: "I love you guys."  Eva's face crumbles and she tries to hold back the tears as she hugs her daughter goodbye.  The two women embrace, sobbing.  Peter looks away, trying not to cry.  Eva and Peter watch as Ellen shows her ticket to security and mounts the escalator towards her gate.  Ellen turns around once, to wave, and Eva and Peter smilingly wave back.  They watch until she is out of sight.  Then they walk sadly out of the airport, their arms comfortingly around each other.  Peter: "Well, we made a fine person."
