ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

The call of a bird echoes in a quiet, peaceful forest.  A gentle breeze ruffles fern fronds and a stream bubbles over mossy rocks.  Narrator: "Somebody told me once that if you stand still in the forest long enough, you'll see signs of a hidden struggle raging between forces of life and decay.  That the survival of the forest itself depends on the outcome.  And that the good guys need all the help they can get.  And that if you don't believe it, take a close look.  And if you still don't, look closer."

Nod is running away from several nasty Boggans after they shot him down from his hummingbird.  Ronin and several other Leafmen appear and hover alongside Nod as he runs down a tree branch.  Ronin: "Need a lift?"  Nod, panting: "I don't need your help!"  Ronin: "You're running out of branch, there, buddy."  Nod, obstinate: "Still don't need your help."  Nod's words trail off into a scream as a Boggan raven scoops him up with her claws and begins carrying him away.  Ronin follows, knocking the Boggan off his raven and taking control of the bird.  Ronin looks down at Nod, upside down in the clutches of the raven.  Ronin, angrily: "Why aren't you with your group?"  Nod: "I fly faster alone!"  Ronin: "How do you not get this?  You're not the only one on this team, you know."  Ronin reminds the young maverick of his responsibilities as a member of the elite Leafmen guard.  Offering a final piece of advice, he begins to turn his hummingbird, leaving Nod still in the clutches of the rider-less raven.  Nod, dangling helplessly: "What?  You're not going to help me now?"  Ronin, flying away: "I just did."

Dr. Momba is excited for his daughter, M. K., to live with him and share in his life's work: "I don't know how much your mother told you about my work."  M. K.: "Just that you have a delusional belief in an advanced society of tiny people living in the woods and, well, it ruined your career, not to mention your marriage."  Dr. Momba, putting some food on a tiny table on his porch: "I'm not delusional.  I know they're out there.  It's intuition, like scientists intuited the atom."  Hoping to offer her proof of his theory, Dr. Momba plays a recording of bat sounds for his daughter.  He slows down the recording and filters out selected sounds, believing that he has inadvertently recorded tiny voices in the background.  M. K., listening, hears nothing.  Dr. Momba, oblivious to his daughter's skepticism: "Isn't that cool?"  M. K.: "Okay, if tiny men are flying around in the forest, how come I've never seen them?"  Dr. Momba explains that he believes the men simply move too fast for human perception.  M. K.: "Have you ever seen one?"  Dr. Momba: "Just because you haven't seen something, doesn't mean it's not there."

M. K. has just moved in with her father, who is excitedly telling her of his life's work (see Scene # CV06624).  A scientist, Dr. Momba has spent years searching for evidence of a race of tiny people he believes exists in the forest.  M. K., recently bereaved of her mother, wants to discuss her future: "Okay, we need to talk."  Seeing that her father is obsessed with his work, M. K. offers to move out and live on her own.  Dr. Momba, hurt, suggests that she doesn't want to live with him.  M. K.: "No, that's not what I want!  I want you to stop...all this.  And just be normal.  I just, I want a dad who's not - -"  Dr. Momba turns at the sound of a signal from his equipment sensors.  A slight beeping sound is succeeded by a blaring alarm, and Dr. Momba is completely distracted from conversation with his daughter: "Okay.  This is big.  This is a big thing going on right now (speaking of his work)."  Walking away, he goes to a wall of monitors where he can check the cameras he has stationed around the forest.  Mumbling vaguely to himself, he tells M. K. he needs to go and investigate the source of the alarm.  M. K. is astounded that he would leave her hanging: "Are you serious?"  Dr. Momba, quickly packing supplies: "You have to catch these things in the moment, while they're happening, otherwise you miss a chance that could be gone forever."  M. K., angrily: "You're missing a chance right now!  Are you even listening?"  Dr. Momba, believing his work to be important, assures his daughter of his quick return: "I will clear this all up when I get back."  He runs out, slamming the door shut behind him.

Ronin, M. K., Nod, Mub, and Grub are taking the pod to Nim Galuu.  Seeing Nod acting sulky and uncooperative, she wonders why he is a part of the important mission.  Ronin, admitting that Nod has his faults, commends his flying ability.  Ronin: "Plus, his father was my friend.  So, I do what I can.  Many leaves, one tree."  M. K.: "What does that mean?"  Ronin: "We're all individuals, but we're still connected.  It's what we live by."  M. K.: "Maybe you're connected, but I'm kind of on my own."  Ronin, gesturing toward Nod: "No one's on their own.  Not even him."

Nim has brought M. K. to the tree of knowledge, where scrolls are stored that contain records of every past event that happened in the forest.  M. K., desperate to find a way to return to her own world, asks Nim if the scrolls can help her.  Nim, sagely: "The scrolls don't tell the future.  They only guide us with the knowledge of the past."  He hands M. K. the scroll that recorded the moments just before the queen's death.  The recording plays likes a video before M. K.'s eyes, and she sees herself, back in her old giant form, kneeling next to the dying queen.  Only now she can hear what the queen was saying to her before she died.  Queen Tara: "If you can hear me now, it means you got to Nim's.  The pod needs you.  I can't be around for it anymore."  Queen Tara breathes onto the pod and gives it to the giant M. K.  M. K., feeling inadequate to the responsibility of caring for the future queen, protests: "No!  Don't do that!  Why would you give that to me?  You don't understand.  I have to get home.  This has nothing to do with me!"  Queen Tara: "You're here for a reason.  Maybe you don't see the connections yet.  But just because you don't see them doesn't mean they're not there."

The creatures of the forest are having a party.  Mub and Grub chat with a fruit fly while they dance.  Grub: "So, what's it like, having such a short life cycle?"  Fruit fly, in a child-like voice: "It's great, Mister.  When I grow up, I'm..."  The fruit fly's leg falls off and his voice changes to that of a man: "...going to..."  The fly's voice changes to that of an elderly man, his wings shrivel, and his body hunches: "...wish I had done more with my life, sonny."  The fruit fly keels over, dead.  Mub and Grub stand, open-mouthed with horror at the brevity of life.

Ronin is fighting Mandrake alone in an attempt to save the forest from his evil plan.  Mandrake knocks him to the ground and pins him there, helpless.  Tauntingly, Mandrake reminds Ronin of the motto of the Leafmen (many leaves, one tree): "But, in the end, every leaf falls and dies alone."  Mandrake raises his staff to kill Ronin, but is stopped at the last second by the newly-arrived Nod: "No one is alone."  A battalion of Leafmen suddenly drop from the sky and surround Ronin protectively.  Ronin stands, lifting his sword, and joins his fellows in the fight against evil.  The Leafmen protect the pod with their shields while standing ready to aid in the battle against Mandrake.  The combined efforts of Nod and Ronin succeed in overcoming Mandrake, who is swallowed up by a tree of the forest.
