ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Looking no more than 25 years old, Henry tells Will that he's 105.  But Henry is less than proud of his old age: "The day comes when you've had enough.  Your mind can be spent, even if your body's not.  We want to die.  We need to."  Will, who has been struggling to survive all of his 28 years: "That's your problem?  You've been alive too long?  You ever know anyone who's died?"  Henry tells Will the source of his disillusionment with immortality...the truth of their system of "currency."  Units of life are the currency because the rich can live off the deaths of the poor.  Thus, a few men can live virtually as immortals, while multitudes die young.  Henry believes there is enough time for everyone to have a full life: "No one has to die before their time."  (Caution: h-word used)

Will, a poor man from the ghetto, has just saved the life of Henry, a wealthy member of the privileged class.  (In their world, money is represented by hours of life.  The poor often only have a day left to live at a time, while the rich may have hundreds of years.)  Henry has seen Will eyeing the clock on his arm.  Will has less than 19 hours of life left.  Henry: "If you had as much time as I have, on that clock, what would you do with it?"  Will looks down at the constantly decreasing numbers, knowing that his life ebbs away with every second: "I'd stop watching it."  He thinks for a moment: "I can tell you one thing.  If I had all that time, I sure as h--l wouldn't waste it."  Henry looks down at his own arm.  His clock holds more than 116 years.  (Caution: h-word used)

In a time when people's lifespans are measured in clocks on their arms, Henry decides to give his life away.  He kneels quietly beside the sleeping Will, allowing his time to be absorbed onto Will's clock.  Leaving himself five minutes in which to say goodbye to life on Earth, Henry disappears.  When Will awakens, he notices his life clock now holds more than one hundred years (he previously had less than a day).  He walks over to the window, where Henry has scrawled a message on the glass: "Don't waste my time."  Will looks outside and sees Henry sitting on top of a bridge, looking out over the water.  While Will rushes to reach him in time, Henry stares out over the water, knowing he is breathing his last.  The clock on his arm now reads only seconds.  Henry sits quietly, preparing himself for death.  His clock stops, and he falls off the bridge.  Will arrives, too late to stop the man from giving his life to Will.

In a world where the currency is units of life and most people live from day-to-day, Rachel is hurrying home to meet her son so he can refill her life clock with what he's earned for the day.  Relieved that she was able to earn enough to pay their debt, Rachel steps on the bus with just enough time (she thinks) to get home.  When she discovers the bus rates have unexpectedly risen, Rachel is devastated.  She can no longer afford to take the bus and the walk would take her a half an hour longer than she has left to live.  Desperate, she begs the driver to let her son make up the difference when they arrive at her destination.  Coldly, he denies her.  She looks around at the rest of the passengers.  Knowing she will die, but having their own lives to protect, they look away.  Rachel stumbles off the bus and begins running toward home, wearing heels and a dress.  Along the way, she begs passing cars for help, but no one responds.  When her son, Will, realizes that she didn't make the bus, he begins running as well.  Rachel rounds a corner with ten seconds left on her clock.  She sees Will running ahead of her.  The two sprint toward each other, knowing that if Will can reach her in time, he can pass some of his life to her.  The second before she reaches him, Rachel's clock stops and she collapses in her son's arms.

Will is playing at a high-stakes poker table where the currency is years of life.  He is playing against Philippe, a man who is worth thousands, if not millions of years.  Possessing only a few hundred years, Will is ready to gamble it all to beat Philippe, who has been wealthy his entire life.  The men begin betting in fifty-year increments, and when the betting is complete, Will has staked all the life he has left.  Just before the cards are revealed, he puts his arm on the table to show Philippe the time left on his clock.  Philippe is stunned to see that Will only has 29 seconds left to live (unless he wins the pot).  The men lay down their cards.  Will has won.  With one second remaining on his clock, Will receives his winnings:  1,100 years of life.  Philippe: "That was some risk."

Will is dancing with Sylvia, a wealthy girl who has never had to struggle for survival.  (In their world, the wealthy can live forever, as long as they don't meet with an accident.)  Sylvia tells Will that she envies his freedom in the ghetto.  Will, knowing that the poor are lucky when they live to see another day: "You don't know anything."  Sylvia: "Oh no?  The clock is good for no one.  The poor die and the rich don't live.  We can all live forever as long as we don't do anything foolish.  Doesn't that scare you?  That maybe you'll never do anything foolish?  Or courageous, or anything worth a d--n?"  Will takes Sylvia outside, where they watch the waves crash against the beach.  He has never seen the ocean before, and excitedly prepares to jump in for a swim.  Sylvia, who is raised to never take risks: "What are you doing?  We don't go in.  You're insane."  Will: "You have this in your backyard.  You never go in.  And I'm insane?"  Will, yelling from the water: "Sylvia, come on!  What happened to doing something foolish?"  (Caution: d-word used)

In a world where currency is time, Will hopes to get a lot so that he can give it to others who need it.  Sylvia: "Will, if you get a lot of time, are you really gonna give it away?"  Will, who has been poor all his life: "I've only ever had a day.  How much do you need?  How can you live with yourself watching people die right next to you?"  Sylvia, born wealthy, knows the answer to that question: "You don't watch.  You close your eyes."

Sylvia and Will are robbing Sylvia's wealthy father in order to give it away to the poor.  (Currency is units of life, and having nothing means you die.)  When they open Philippe's safe, they discover that he has been hoarding one million years.  Will is shocked that he would keep so much for himself: "You know how much good it could do?"  Philippe, who likes the current system (where the rich can live forever), knows that giving away so many years to the poor could destroy the way things are.  Will: "Let's hope so."  Sylvia: "We're not meant to live like this.  We're not meant to live forever."  Philippe tries to convince them that their efforts to break the system will amount to nothing in the end: "Because everyone wants to live forever.  They all think they have a chance at immortality, even though all the evidence is against it.  They all think they will be the exception.  But, the truth is, for a few to be immortal, many must die."
