ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

At the age of 11, Riley moves from Minnesota to San Francisco for her father's new job. One day after her father departs family-time for work, Riley has a great idea for her and Mom: pizza! Riley has just been born.  As her loving parents greet her, she experiences her first emotion:  joy.  Joy is personified as a light-hearted character living inside Riley's head.  Joy watches with happiness as Riley's first memory is made...a memory of her parents expressing their love to her.  The memory takes the form of a glowing marble, which Joy fondly sends to the memory bank.  However, Joy is soon joined by another emotion when, seemingly inexplicably, Riley begins to cry.  A short, blue, morose girl appears beside Joy, introducing herself as Sadness.  The two mildly fight over who has control of Riley's emotional console.  And they are not alone at the controls for long.  Joy: "Headquarters only got more crowded from there."  A skinny, bespectacled Fear comes to keep Riley safe from harm.  (He grabs the controls when she approaches a trailing electrical cord, but Joy quickly yanks them back to continue Riley careening around the house with her wagon.)  Disgust joins the emotional party when Riley has her first experience of broccoli.  And Anger quickly follows when the threat of no dessert sends Riley into a furious tantrum.  Anger, a short, fiery-red character, shoots flames from his head when truly enraged.  But Sadness is always there, at Joy's side, ready to take over when Riley breaks a toy, gets hurt, or faces disappointment.

Joy goes over to a wall in the control room, where the memories of Riley's current experiences are stored as glowing marbles.  Picking one up, she enjoys watching a happy memory before fondly placing the marble back on the shelf.  Joy then goes to the center of the room, where the "really important memories" are stored.  Joy, pushing a button to expose a small compartment containing only a handful of memories: "These are called Core Memories.  Each one came from a super-important time in Riley's life."  These core memories influence who Riley will become in later life and cement those things which will be important to her.  Each one creates an outpost in Riley's mind, an island that controls certain aspects of her personality.  The things that Riley most values are the things which will have an island in her mind.  For Riley, there is Hockey Island, Goofball Island, Friendship Island, Honesty Island, and Family Island.  And each one has its associated Core Memory.  The first goal scored, the silly bedtime dance, the fun with a best friend, the choice to tell the truth over a broken plate, and the time spent with her loving parents all helped to create these islands.  Joy: "The Islands of Personality are what make Riley...Riley!"  (Caution: toddler's naked bottom shown)

Full of expectations, Riley and her parents pull up to their new home.  Staring up at the rather ugly house, Riley's face falls.  Inside her head, her emotions begin to conflict, but Joy remains constantly at the helm.  Joy: "Maybe it's nice on the inside."  Perking up immediately, Riley enters the house.  Dingy and old, the building doesn't impress.  A dead mouse lies in the corner of the living room.  Anger, Disgust, and Fear begin quickly filling Riley's head with their comments: "We're supposed to live here?  It smells like something died.  Can you die from moving?"  But Joy is careful to rein in the chaos inside Riley's head: "All through the drive, Dad talked about how cool our new room is.  Let's go check it out!"  All the emotions agree, and Riley is soon running upstairs, grinning broadly.  But her shoulders soon sag when she sees the dirty attic room.  Sadness: "Riley can't live here."  Joy is once again pushed to the back as Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear take control of Riley's mind.  Joy, beginning to panic, looks up at the wall of memories, where everything is being tainted by the negative emotions that Riley is feeling.  She must do something fast to change the situation.  Quickly, she changes the image of the dirty, empty room, into a beautiful, cozy nook filled with Riley's things.  She encourages Riley to think positively, and imagine all she can do with a blank slate: "An empty room is an opportunity."  Smiling as she pictures what she can do with her new room, Riley runs downstairs to begin unloading the moving van.  Disappointingly, she arrives just in time to hear her father say that the van has been delayed.  Negative marbles quickly pile up in Riley's mind as the disappointing move and the stress of her parents' arguing begin to affect her again.  Desperately, Joy grabs a lightbulb and plugs it into Riley's mind: "I've got a great idea!"  Riley grabs her hockey stick and begins to play hockey with her parents, using the garbage on the floor as a puck.  Soon, all three are feeling better about the move, and Riley's choice to have a positive outlook on a negative situation has created a good memory for them all.

Riley is on the verge of sliding joyously down a stair railing when, suddenly, her smile fades and she changes her mind.  Joy and the other emotions are distressed to see that Sadness has been touching Riley's memories.  Joy pulls Sadness away from the memory bank and tries to get her to think positively.  Sadness, her head drooping and her voice dripping with self-pity, feels she can't do anything right.  Joy, trying to cheer Sadness up: "You can't focus on what's going wrong.  There's always a way to turn things around, to find the fun."  To demonstrate, Joy reminds Sadness of some fun memories of Riley's life.  However, the two emotions have very different feelings about the memories.  While Joy remembers the humor of milk coming out of Riley's nose, Sadness remembers the pain.  While Joy remembers the fun of being outside and playing in the sunshine, Sadness remembers the rain.  Trying hard to work with Sadness, Joy takes the memories of rain and recalls jumping in puddles and splashing in mud.  But Sadness doesn't have this perspective.  She can only see cold, wet, water-filled boots and gloomy, gray clouds.  Sadness, overwhelmed, slumps to the floor in tears.  Joy, frustrated: "Why are you crying?  It's just, like, really the opposite of what we're going for here."  Sadness, lifting her head briefly from the floor: "Crying helps me slow down and obsess over the weight of life's problems."  She allows her head to slump back to the floor.

Riley and her parents are seated around the dinner table.  Her mother makes random attempts at conversation while her father nods.  Riley is mostly silent, depressed about their recent move.  With Joy gone from Riley's mind, all that's left to control her emotions are Anger, Fear, and Disgust.  The three emotions take turns speaking through Riley to her parents, each trying to fake being Joy.  When Mom excitedly tells Riley about hockey tryouts, Riley sneers with sarcasm, missing her old hockey team.  Inside Mom's mind, her emotions are also waging a strategic battle.  Sadness, to the others, reacting to Riley's sarcasm: "Did you guys pick up on that?"  Anger: "Should we ask her?"  Sadness: "Let's probe, but keep it subtle."  Mom, smiling at Riley: "So, how was the first day of school?"  Inside Riley's mind, Anger isn't fooled: "She's probing us!"  Fear takes over as Riley recalls her embarrassing day and her response to her mother is less than enthusiastic.  Mom's emotions are alerted: "Something is definitely going on!"  Mom, hoping for support from Dad, clears her throat loudly.  A glimpse inside Dad's mind shows his emotions watching a hockey game.  Mom clears her throat a second time.  Dad's Anger suddenly notices: "Uh oh.  She's looking at us!"  Anger turns off the hockey game and Dad's mind screen suddenly comes into focus on Mom's face.  Anger turns to Fear: "What did she say?"  Fear: "Uh, sorry, sir.  No one was listening."  Quickly, Dad tries to decipher why Mom is so obviously irritated with him: "Is it garbage night?  We left the toilet seat up?  What?"  Mom gestures silently toward their daughter and Dad suddenly takes the hint.  However, he drops the ball when he simply repeats Mom's unsuccessful question: "Riley, how was school?"  Predictably, Anger takes over in Riley's mind and she sighs heavily.  Dad's Fear: "Sir, she just rolled her eyes at us!"  Dad's Anger: "What is her deal?  All right, make a show of force.  I don't want to have to put 'The Foot' down."  Dad's Fear, cowering: "No, not 'The Foot!'"  Dad, glaring at Riley: "I do not like this new attitude."  Anger again is at the helm in Riley's mind as she blurts out: "What is your problem?  Just leave me alone!"  Dad's Fear: "Sir, reporting high levels of sass!"  Dad's Anger: "Take it to DEFCON two!"  Dad's other emotions scramble to obey as a red siren begins blaring in Dad's control center.  Dad, gritting his teeth: "Listen, young lady, I don't know where this disrespectful attitude came from - -"  Riley interrupts, her temper flaring: "Just shut up!"  Inside Dad's mind, his emotions prepare to lower "The Foot."  Fear and Disgust insert two keys simultaneously into the control panel, as if getting ready to launch a nuclear bomb.  Anger orders the drop: "Fire!"  Dad, shouting: "That's it!  Go to your room!"  Riley shoves her chair back and angrily stomps up the stairs.  Inside Dad's mind, his emotions are self-satisfied, feeling their role as parent fulfilled successfully: "Good job, gentlemen.  That could have been a disaster."  Inside Mom's mind, her emotions are deflated: "Well, that was a disaster."

Joy and Sadness are wandering through Riley's Long Term Memory, searching for a way back to the control center.  Suddenly, they encounter a couple of Mind Workers busily erasing memories from Riley's mental storage.  One worker, holding a clipboard, calls out memories to be erased while the other, holding a giant hose, vacuums the memory marbles into oblivion.  Worker 1, looking at his clipboard: "Phone numbers.  We don't need all these.  They're in her phone."  His counterpart sucks them into his hose.  Worker 1: "Look at these!  Four years of piano lessons!"  Worker 2: "Yeah, looks pretty faded."  Worker 1: "You know what?  Save 'Chopsticks' and 'Heart and Soul.'  Get rid of the rest."  Most of the marbles are sucked into the vacuum.  Worker 1: "U. S. presidents.  What do you think?"  Worker 2, vacuuming the marbles: "Keep Washington, Lincoln, and the fat one."  Joy, disturbed: "Hey!  You can't throw those away!  They're perfectly good memories."  Worker 2, sarcastically: "The names of every Cutie Pie princess doll?"  Joy: "Yes!  That is critical information!"  As she begins to read the list of names, the worker follows, vacuuming each from memory.  Worker 2: "Look, Lady, this is our job."  Worker 1: "When Riley doesn't care about a memory, it fades.  Happens to the best of 'em."  Worker 2 chuckles, grabbing a shiny marble from his cart: "Except for this bad boy.  This one will never fade."  Joy peers into the marble, seeing a perky jingle for a gum commercial: ♪ "TripleDent gum will make you smile."  ♪ Worker 2, brimming with laughter: "You know, sometimes we send that one up to Headquarters for no reason!"  Worker 1, joining in the amusement: "It plays in Riley's head over and over again!"  Laughing uproariously, the two workers send the memory up a tube that takes it into Riley's mind.  When the catchy jingle begins to play, Riley's emotions are annoyed: "This again?"  Riley, sitting on her bed, suddenly begins to hum to herself: ♪ "TripleDent gum..." ♪

Bing Bong, Riley's imaginary friend, is giving Joy and Sadness a tour of Imagination Land - - the place where Riley's dreams and imaginings reside.  The land is filled with images depicting everything from shallow desires of the stomach (French Fry Forest) to deep desires of the soul (Trophy Town).  When the three reach Trophy Town, everybody is a winner.  In Riley's imagination, she always will receive first place and trophies are piled up everywhere.  After they pass through Cloud Town, they come to a lava lake, where couch cushions and living room tables provide the only safe havens in the fiery muck.  Bing Bong, leaping from cushion to cushion: "Imagination Land is the best!"  Joy enjoys Riley's imagination just as much as Bing Bong, but both are surprised when they come upon a strange new addition to Riley's mostly childish dreams.  A giant machine suddenly cranks out a long-haired, romantic-looking teen on a conveyor belt.  Bing Bong: "Who the heck is that?"  Imagination Worker, turning briefly from the controls of the machine: "Imaginary boyfriend."  Boyfriend, casually flipping his thick mop back from his eyes, in a sultry voice: "I would die for Riley!"  Joy gags, sticking out her tongue.  Bing Bong: "I've never seen him before."

Having almost run away from home, Riley faces her concerned parents.  Seeing in her mind all the wonderful memories from their old home, she can no longer hold back the tears.  Mom and Dad watch with loving, but worried eyes as Riley sobs.  She finally confesses to her parents that she isn't happy about their move: "I want to go home.  Please don't be mad."  Riley hangs her head, ashamed to have disappointed her parents.  Mom and Dad immediately show compassion on their hurting daughter.  Mom: "Oh, Sweetie."  Dad, speaking gently: "We're not mad.  You know what?  I miss Minnesota, too."  Riley looks up, surprised that her father understands how she feels.  Riley's parents share some of their favorite memories with her and Riley again begins to sob.  Her parents hug her tightly.  As Riley rests in her parents' embrace, a strange combination of sadness and joy come over her.  She smiles through her tears.  Suddenly, a new Core Memory marble comes rolling into the control center.  It is tinged with blue and gold, sadness and joy.  Inside Riley's mind, Sadness and Joy watch together as Family Island is once again rebuild, stronger than ever.  The two emotions smile, watching Riley safe in the arms of her parents.

Riley is on her way onto the ice rink when she accidentally runs into a boy of her own age.  Startled, he drops his cup.  Riley smiles, handing it back to him.  His eyes widen and he stares at her with his mouth open, speechless.  Inside his mind, his emotions are going crazy.  They run around aimlessly, screaming and bouncing off walls and each other.  A buzzer sounds loudly: "Girl!  Girl!  Girl!"  A signal in the universal shape of a woman flashes its warning repeatedly.  A red light blinks on and off, bathing the whole chaotic scene with a dangerous hue.  Fear cowers in a corner, hugging himself and sobbing.  Outside the teen's mind, things are becoming awkward.  He continues to stare blankly at Riley, who finally tucks the cup under his arm and continues toward the rink.  She turns around once for a last glance at the strange boy who is still staring at her with the same dazed look.
