ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Caleb, Four, Tris, and Peter, fugitives from the law, have taken refuge in the city of Amity.  Amity is populated by people whose natural personalities are friendly and peaceful.  A beautiful glass dome filled with greenery houses long tables where smiling people brightly pass plates filled with food to each other.  Every diner is greeted by the beaming hosts with the phrase: "Go with happiness."  When it is Tris's turn to take her plate, she looks slightly sickened.  She turns to Four: "I really don't know how much longer I can do this peace and love thing."  She's tired of putting on a false smile and fake attitude in order to fit in with the sugary society.  Peter, on the other hand, loves taking advantage of the compliant natives.  Distracting two bright-faced girls by pretending to see a rainbow, Peter unapologetically cuts in front of them in line.  He turns to Tris, explaining why he is enjoying his time in Amity: "Virtual pathological friendliness with unquestioned passivism?  I love this place."

Caleb, Four, and Tris are running from soldiers intent on capturing them, dead or alive.  They race together through the woods, a dozen or so men chasing after them.  When they emerge from the trees into a clearing, Four sends the other two on ahead while he stays behind to provide cover fire.  Caleb and Tris make it safely across the railroad tracks, where they stop to provide cover fire for Four.  Four has barely enough time to sprint across the field and leap over the tracks before the train comes speeding by, effectively providing a barrier between them and their adversaries.  The three begin running alongside the train, trying to pick up enough speed to hop onboard.  As their enemies are shooting at the train and bullets sail around them, Tris and Four help Caleb, the weakest of the three, climb into a train car.  They ride in safety toward the city, leaving their angry pursuers behind.

Jack Kang, leader of Candor (the Faction that prides honesty above all things), has captured Tris and her renegade friends.  Declaring his intention to turn them over to the authorities, Jack believes they are guilty of the crimes of which they are accused.  Knowing they will never survive a trial run by a corrupt Jeanine, Four begs Jack to allow their case to be tried in Candor.  Jack: "Jeanine believes that Erudite are the most fit to govern because they are the smartest.  Do you believe that Candor is most fit to judge because you're so honest?"  Jack, believing justice to be best served by those who prize honesty, agrees to try the fugitives in Candor.  In addition, he will administer a truth serum to both that guarantees they can only speak the truth.  Later, in a courtroom, a large black and white mural on the wall depicts the scales of justice evenly balanced.  A large audience of Candor citizens watch as Jack administers the serum to Four.  Jack, as Four climbs into the witness sphere: "May the truth set you free."

Jeanine has captured Tris, hoping she is the key to unlocking the mysterious box left by the Founders.  In order to do so, Tris must successfully pass five computer simulations, each testing a facet of her character.  The first, Dauntless, will test Tris's courage.  Tris is hooked up to the computer and suspended inside a large room by a number of cables.  (Death in the simulator means death in reality, so her courage will really be tested.)  As Tris's consciousness passes from the present reality into the simulated scenario, she sees her mother standing in the entrance of a burning building.  Her mother cries out for help and the building suddenly begins to rise into the air, still on fire.  Tris leaps for the building, grabbing onto a dangling cable.  As the building rises higher and higher, Tris finds herself faced with numerous obstacles to overcome in order to rescue her mother.  She must dodge flying debris, escape the flames, stop herself from falling from the flying building (which has now begun to turn upside-down), and save her mother from being killed.  Tris faces each new challenge without hesitation, doing whatever she can to reach her mother.  Finally, just as the building is about to crash into a skyscraper, Tris grabs a cable, leaps from the building, and swings through the burning window just in time to save her mother from being crushed to death.

Tris is facing her fifth and final simulation, Amity.  This program will test Tris's ability to forgive even her worst enemies.  Not surprisingly, the first person she sees upon entering the simulation is Jeanine.  Jeanine opens with an insult, but Tris is determined not to get angry: "Say whatever you want, Jeanine.  I'm not going to fight you."  Jeanine, scornfully: "How very Amity of you.  Of course you're not.  You're gonna fight her...the one you really hate."  Much to Tris's surprise, it turns out that Jeanine is not her worst enemy.  Tris turns to see who Jeanine has indicated and comes face-to-face with a carbon copy of herself.  Stunned into silence, Tris makes several movements, watching as her twin mirrors them perfectly.  Tris: "What are you?"  Twin: "I'm the real you."  Twin launches herself at Tris, pummeling her into the wall.  Tris: "I'm not gonna fight you!"  Twin: "I'll make you fight me!"  Tris: "You're not me!"  Twin, as she attempts to strangle Tris, also attempts to poison how Tris views herself: "I am.  I'm what they see when they look at you."  Twin kicks the unresisting Tris into a wall, accusing her of being responsible for the deaths of her parents.  Twin sees her words are having an effect: "No one's gonna love you, Tris.  They're never even gonna miss you.  This world will be better off without you.  And no one will ever, ever forgive you for what you've done."  Tris, unclenching her hands, finally comes to terms with the guilt she's been carrying around with her.  Tris, smiling: "You're wrong.  Because I will."  Twin launches herself at Tris, but crumbles into nothingness as Tris succeeds in forgiving herself.
