ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A narrator tells the story of a young maiden, a carefree boy, a childless couple, and a red-cloaked girl who live in a small village.  Each are discontent with some aspect of their lives, and all wish for something more.  Maiden, singing as she performs her chores: ♪ "I wish...more than anything...more than life...more than jewels." ♪ The lad, dragging a reluctant cow off to be milked, also sings: ♪ "I wish...more than life." ♪ In their bakery, the baker and his wife sing together: ♪ "I wish...more than anything...more than the moon.  I wish." ♪  Having expressed their longing, the villagers now each sing of what it is they are longing for.  The maiden longs to go to the king's festival.  The boy wishes his cow would give him some milk.  The couple wishes for a child.  Back at the boy's farm, a new character is introduced, and is just as discontented as the rest.  The lad's mother begins to sing: ♪ "I wish...I wish my son were not a fool.  I wish my house was not a mess.  I wish the cow was full of milk.  I wish the walls were full of gold.  I wish a lot of things!" ♪  And, finally, the girl in the red cloak enters the bakery, stealing a cookie and cramming it into her mouth: ♪ "I wish...it's not for me it's for my granny in the woods.  Just a loaf of bread.  Please?" ♪

Red Riding Hood is walking through the forest to her grandmother's house when she encounters the Big Bad Wolf.  Greeting him cordially, Red continues on her way, but the Wolf blocks the path, opening his jacket to reveal an array of candies and treats that would tempt any child.  At first, Red refuses to listen to the Wolf's urgings to dawdle in the woods: ♪ "Mother said, straight ahead, not to delay or be misled." ♪ The Wolf, however, doesn't give up trying to tempt the girl off the right path.  He follows her, pointing out all the things in the forest that she would be missing by staying on the straight and narrow.  All the while, the Wolf talks to himself, delighting in his plans to eat the girl and her grandmother.  After the Wolf again blocks her path, Red replies: ♪ "Mother said, come what may, follow the path and never stray." ♪ Wolf, pretending to agree: ♪ "Just so, little girl.  Any path...so many worth exploring.  Just one would be so boring." ♪ Finally, the Wolf succeeds in his mission, tempting Red to stop and pick flowers from a beautiful field.  Red, smiling as she convinces herself that what she is doing is all right: ♪ "Mother said not to stray, still, I suppose, a small delay...Granny might like a fresh bouquet!" ♪ The Wolf, knowing he has won, smiles a ferocious smile.

The Witch has just witnessed her beloved Rapunzel meeting with a prince.  Locking her daughter's window against the outside world, she confronts her, accusing her of disobedience.  Rapunzel: "I'm no longer a child!  I wish to see the world!"  The Witch, tearfully, tells her daughter that the world is a dark and scary place: ♪ "Someone has to shield you from the world." ♪  She begs her daughter: ♪ "Stay with me!" ♪  The Witch, while acknowledging that there are princes, warns that there are also dangers: ♪ "Stay at home!  I am home!  Who out there could love you more than I?  What out there that I cannot supply?  Stay with me.  Stay with me, the world is dark and wild.  Stay a child while you can be a child.  With me." ♪  The Witch cradles Rapunzel's head on her shoulder.

It is the third night of the festival and Cinderella is at the ball.  Narrator, as Cinderella runs down the steps of the palace: "As for the indecisive Cinderella, she fled from the prince.  Again."  The prince, after two previous rejections, has grown wise, and has spread pitch over the steps to prevent his love from disappearing.  Cinderella gets stuck and time freezes for a moment while she tries to decide how to proceed.  Cinderella, singing to herself: ♪ "All right, what do you want?  Have to make a decision." ♪  Cinderella debates the relative merits of allowing herself to be caught by the prince and perhaps risking his scorn at her true identity or running back to home, where the abuse never ends.  But Cinderella also struggles to decide if she herself desires the prince: ♪ "What if I am what a prince would envision?  But then how can you know who you are 'til you know what you want, which I don't?  So then, which do you pick?" ♪ Cinderella paces back and forth over the steps (her shoes left in the muck), agonizing: ♪ "It's my first big decision!  The choice isn't easy to make." ♪ Cinderella's first choice seems to be to return home, risking nothing, in favor of the safety of the familiar.  However, she decides upon a compromise.  She will leave her shoe behind, leaving the ball in the prince's court and the decision up to him.

The Steward announces the arrival of the Prince in the village, and every young maiden is ordered to wait in her home for his visit.  When he arrives at Cinderella's house, Cinderella hides in the basement while Stepmother and the sisters eagerly try on the shoe.  Alone in their dressing room, Stepmother furiously tries to cram the shoe onto Florinda's foot.  When she realizes it's never going to work, the mother reaches for a carving knife, telling her daughter: ♪ "It'll have to go.  But when you're his bride you can sit or ride.  You'll never need to walk!" ♪  Lucinda holds her sister down while Stepmother cuts off her big toe (offscreen).  When the Prince seats Florinda behind him on his horse, however, blood drips from her shoe and the game is up.  Upstairs, Lucinda desperately tries to squeeze her own foot inside the slipper.  And, again, when it doesn't work, Stepmother grabs her knife.  Stepmother: ♪ "Darling, be still.  Cut off a bit of the heel and it will.  And when you're his wife, you'll have such a life!  You'll never need to walk!" ♪  With the back of her heel sliced off, Lucinda attempts to walk downstairs to greet the Prince.  However, before she reaches him, she faints.

The entire kingdom has gathered at the castle to greet the brides and the bridegrooms as they return from their weddings (Rapunzel and her prince and Cinderella and hers).  The bells are ringing, the crowds are cheering, flower petals are falling from the sky, the sun is shining, and everyone is smiling.  Narrator: "And it came to pass, all that seemed wrong was now right."  Prince Charming and Cinderella reach the castle and step out of their carriage to wave at their subjects.  Narrator: "And so, with the kingdom filled with joy, those who deserved to were destined to live happily ever - -"  The narrator breaks off as a terrifying rumbling sound fills the air.  Cinderella and Prince Charming are thrown apart in the middle of a kiss by the powerful tremors of an enormous earthquake.  The cheering changes to screaming as the castle itself begins to crumble into bits.

When the Baker's Wife encounters Prince Charming in the woods, she is both nervous and excited.  And, when the ruggedly handsome prince begins to flatter her, she is pleased.  The Prince moves closer to the beautiful peasant: ♪ "Anything can happen in the woods.  May I kiss you?" ♪ At first shocked, the Baker's Wife nevertheless gives in to a smooch on the cheek before moving away from the passionate prince.  Baker's Wife, looking distraught: ♪ "This is ridiculous.  What am I doing here?  I'm in the wrong story!" ♪  The Prince pulls her back into his embrace and kisses her on the mouth before she pushes away:  "Wait, wait, wait!  We can't do this!  You have a princess!"   (The Prince has recently married Cinderella.)  Prince, looking undaunted: "Well, yes, I do."  Baker's Wife: "And I have...a baker."  The Prince continues his advances: ♪ "Foolishness can happen in the woods.  Let your hesitations be hushed.  Seize the moment, skies may fall." ♪  A crescendo of romantic music plays as they kiss in a full embrace.  But, again, the Baker's Wife breaks away: "This is not right!"  The Prince sighs, trying again: ♪ "Right and wrong don't matter in the woods.  Only feelings.  Let us meet the moment unblushed." ♪  Kissing her again, the Prince tells the Baker's Wife to live for the pleasure of the moment.

The Baker waits anxiously with Cinderella and Red for his wife to return.  Suddenly, the Witch appears, dragging Jack, who is wearing the Baker's wife's scarf.  When Jack regretfully tells the Baker that his wife is dead, the Baker initially blames himself, regretting his decision to leave his wife alone in the woods.  However, when the Witch reminds him that an angry giant is after them all because of Jack's theft, the Baker turns angrily on the boy, blaming him for the tragedy: "Yes!  He's the one to blame!"  Jack is quick to throw the blame back at the Baker, reminding him that the magic beans belonged to him.  When the Baker accuses Jack of cheating on the sale of his cow, Red jumps into the discussion, confronting Jack: ♪ "Yes, it's your fault!" ♪ However, when Jack tells Red that he had to resort to theft to get his cow back from the Baker, Red turns on the Baker: ♪ "So it's your fault!" ♪ From there, fingers begin to be pointed everywhere.  The Baker blames the Witch, who blames the Baker's father.  Jack again finds a reason to blame the Baker, Red blames the Baker's wife, and then the Baker points the finger at Cinderella.  Cinderella turns angrily on Jack, who passes the buck to his mother.  When Red accuses Jack's mother of fault, Jack in turn accuses Red.  Now everyone is alternating between blaming someone else and declaring themselves free of guilt.  Finally, all fingers point at the Witch.

Prince Charming is surprised to discover his wife, Cinderella, in the forest.  When he orders her back to the palace, Cinderella responds coldly, knowing that he has cheated on her.  Charming: "My love, what is it?"  Cinderella: "Maybe I'm not your only love."  Charming, reaching for her face: "I love you, truly I do."  Cinderella turns away in disgust: "If you love me, why did you stray?"  Charming: "I thought that if you were mine, I would never wish for more."  Cinderella: "If this is how you behave as a prince, what kind of king will you be?"  Charming, unapologetically: "I was raised to be charming, not sincere."  Cinderella tells her husband that she wants a different life and they agree to go their separate ways.  Charming looks back for one last moment: "I shall always love the maiden who ran away."  Cinderella smiles briefly: "And I the faraway prince."
