ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Jane's cruel aunt is sending her away to boarding school.  The headmaster has come to interview Jane and assess her spiritual standing.  Headmaster: "Do you know, Jane Eyre, where the wicked go after death?"  Jane: "They go to hell."  Headmaster: "And what is hell?"  Jane: "A pit full of fire."  Headmaster: "Should you like to fall into this pit and be burned there forever?"  Jane: "No, sir."  Headmaster: "How might you avoid it?"   Jane, matter-of-factly: "I must keep in good health and not die."

The students at Lowood live in a harsh, unforgiving environment.  Helen is caught turning her head away from the teacher briefly for a glance at Jane.  The teacher immediately calls her forward, preparing to cane her across the back.  Suddenly, the headmaster arrives, and the teacher stops what she is doing.  The headmaster urges her to continue: "I see you are mortifying this girl's flesh.  It is your mission to render her contrite and self-denying."  Helen cries out in pain as the teacher strikes her repeatedly.  Jane, empathetic towards her friend's plight, accidentally drops her slate.  As punishment, the headmaster forces Jane to stand on a chair in the middle of the room.  He addresses the silent, observing girls: "This is the pedestal of infamy, and you will remain upon it all day long.  You will have neither food nor drink, for you must learn how barren is the life of a sinner.  Children, I exhort you to shun her, exclude her, shut her out from this day forth.  Withhold the hand of friendship and deny your love to Jane Eyre."  Weary and alone, Jane stands on the chair all day.  Her fellow students move back and forth past her, avoiding her gaze.  Only Helen approaches Jane, surreptitiously handing her a crust of bread with a friendly smile.

Young Jane has come to visit her dying friend, Helen.  She crawls into bed with her and holds her hand as Helen coughs painfully.  Jane: "How are you?"  Helen: "I'm happy, Jane.  I'm going home."  Jane, thinking Helen is merely leaving their boarding school: "Back to your father?"  Helen, calmly: "I'm going to God."  Jane's eyes fill with tears.  Helen comforts Jane: "Don't be sad."

Jane is sitting with Mr. Rochester, her employer.  He turns his jaded, bitter gaze on her youthful honest face: "I envy you."  Jane: "How?"  Rochester: "Your openness.  Your unpolluted mind."   Rochester: "When I was your age, fate dealt me a blow.  And since happiness is denied me, I've a right to get pleasure in its stead.  And I will get it, cost what it may."  Jane: "Then you'll degenerate still more."

Rochester has just received news that makes him fear his friends will abandon him.   Rochester: "Jane, this is a blow.  If I were to go to those people (his friends), and they looked at me coldly and sneered, and then left me one by one, what would you do?  Would you go with them?"  Jane: "No, sir.  I'd stay with you."   Rochester: "You'd dare condemnation for my sake?"   Jane: "For the sake of any friend who deserved it."

Jane has been called to the bedside of her estranged, dying aunt.  (Although pledged to care for her orphaned niece, Mrs. Reed treated her cruelly and sent her away.)  Mrs. Reed, whispering: "Jane, I've twice done you wrong."  Jane, willing to forget past wrongs: "Please don't think of it."  Mrs. Reed, the weight of her sins on her conscience, confesses to Jane a deception that robbed her of both family and fortune.  Jane is stunned and hurt at the revelation, but still remains calm: "I would have loved you if you'd let me."  Mrs. Reed: "You were born to be my torment."  Jane: "Then love me or hate me as you will.  You have my full and free forgiveness."  Mrs. Reed, sneering in scorn, turns her head away.  Jane: "Be at peace."  She leaves the room.

Jane and Mr. Rochester are walking together through the grounds of Thornfield.  Jane has told Rochester that she must leave her position as governess and work somewhere else.  (She believes that he is to be married to another woman.)  Rochester: "I have a strange feeling with regard to you...as if I had a string somewhere under my left ribs, tightly knotted to a similar string in you.  And if you were to leave, I'm afraid that cord of communion would snap.  And I've a notion that I'd take to bleeding inwardly."   Jane admits that it would be as hard for her to leave him.   Rochester: "I offer you my hand, my heart.  Jane, I ask you to pass through life at my side.  You are my equal and my likeness.  Will you marry me?"  Jane, after struggling to believe that he could love her as much as she loves him, accepts.

Jane has just discovered that her fiancee is married.  Brokenhearted, she is now seated in his home, trying to decide what she should do.  He approaches her for an embrace and she turns away from his kiss.  She tells him that she must leave him.  He kneels before her, taking her arms: "Jane, do you love me?"   Against her will, she nods.  Rochester: "Then the essentials are still the same.  Be my wife."  Jane, disgusted: "You have a wife!"  Rochester, his eyes pleading for understanding, tells Jane the sad story of his unfortunate marriage.  Despite feeling strong pity for him, Jane still knows that it would be wrong to give in to her desire.  Rochester: "Who would you offend by living with me?  Who would care?"  Jane: "I would."  Rochester, crying: "You'd rather drive me to madness than break some mere human law?"  Jane, mastering control over her own sobs: "I must respect myself."  Rochester grips her, sobbing against her neck.  She stands, lifting her arms to deliberately break his grasp.  He grips her skirt, telling her that although he could physically master her, it is her soul that he wants and he knows she won't let him have that.   Rochester: "Why don't you come of your own free will?"  Jane, whispering through her tears, begs for strength she doesn't have: "God help me!"   In a final thrust, she removes herself from her beloved's grip and leaves.
