ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

The alarm begins to blare at 4:45 am, signaling the start of the new work day for Jupiter and her family.  Housecleaners, they move from apartment to apartment, cleaning the rooms of the wealthy.  Longing for more sleep, Jupiter gets up reluctantly, groaning: "I hate my life."  Jupiter's main job is the bathrooms and she scrubs toilets with a look of bitter resignation.  All day long, she scrubs and cleans, taking out garbages and organizing rooms.  And every day at 4:45, she begins all over again, with the same words: "I hate my life."

Katherine, anxious over a probable engagement, asks Jupiter if she's ever been in love.  Jupiter: "You know, my mom says that love is just a fairytale for little girls.  That really, it's all just urges and obligations."  Katherine: "Wow.  That's kind of harsh."

Kalique introduces herself to Jupiter, showing amazement at the girl's appearance.  When Jupiter questions her surprise, Kalique takes her to a room where a large statue of Kalique's mother stands, surrounded by candles.  Jupiter is the spitting image of Kalique's mother and is, in fact, her genetic match.  When Kalique refers to Jupiter as her mother, Jupiter is confused.  Kalique: "Your planet is just now entering its genetic age.  You understand very little about something which is a vital part of our reality.  In our world, genes have an almost spiritual significance.  They are the seeds of our immortality.  When the exact same genes reappear in the exact same order, it is for us what you would call reincarnation."  Kalique tells Jupiter that knowledge and technology have allowed humans to now live for thousands of years (she herself is 14,000 years old).  When Jupiter shows astonishment at her age, Kalique responds: "You'd be just as amazed how quickly it goes."

Having just watched Kalique shed twenty years from her physical appearance by stepping into a mysterious bath, Jupiter is amazed to feel that her wrinkled skin is now smooth and supple.  Kalique, smiling: "In your world, people are used to fighting for resources.  Like oil or minerals or land.  But when you have access to the vastness of space, you realize there's only one resource worth fighting over, even killing for: more time.  Time is the single most precious commodity in the entire universe."

Jupiter asks Caine about a rumor she heard regarding his past assault on a member of royalty.  Caine, uncomfortable: "Look, the truth is, I don't know why I did it.  I don't even remember doing it.  It just happened."  Jupiter, understandingly: "We all do things we can't explain."  Caine: "They said it was in my genes.  A defect of my genomgeneering."  Jupiter chuckles: "That could explain a lot of things about me."  Jupiter wonders whether her past poor choices in men could be related to some genetic flaw: "It's like my internal compass needle points straight at Mr. Wrong.  Maybe it's my genes.  Maybe I have defective engineering, too.  And, if that's the case, is there any way to fix it?"

Jupiter has been brought to the capitol to claim her royal inheritance.  Her escort warns her that the miles of bureaucratic red tape surrounding her claim will be a trial.  A smiling cyborg arrives to help Jupiter navigate her way through the dozens of legal bureaus that will handle her case.  "Intergalactic Advocate Bob" escorts Jupiter first to a long room resembling an untidy DMV.  Files line the walls and all available floor space is taken up by a waiting crowd.  A hag-ridden employee glances at Jupiter's file, but merely redirects them to another office: "You need to file an inheritance petition."  At the next office, a different employee wearing the same deadened expression passes them on to someone else: "File a quit claim through central services..."  The next employee performs a similar maneuver: "You need a title survey and geneprint identification from Wills and Trusts."  At this point, even Bob's perpetual cheeriness begins to crack.  The fourth and fifth offices they are sent to are no more help than the others.  Finally, on their sixth attempt, they succeed, but only after bribing the official.

Jupiter confronts Balem in his throne room for attempting to kill her and her family.  Balem accepts his actions as necessary to his effective rule.  He credits his mother for teaching him his royal duties: "My mother taught me what was necessary to rule in this universe.  I create life...and I destroy it.  Life is an act of consumption, Jupiter.  To live is to consume.  Now, the human beings on your planet are merely a resource waiting to be converted into capital.  And this entire enterprise is just a small part in a vast and beautiful machine defined by evolution, designed to a single purpose:  to create profit."  Balem continues to illuminate his evolutionary worldview: "My mother made me understand that every human society is a pyramid and that some lives will always matter more than others.  It is better to accept this than to pretend it isn't true."
