ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Kim has brought her two children to stay with their father, Steve, for the summer.  The two discuss their teenage daughter, Ronnie.  When the divorce occurred, Ronnie destroyed the family piano and refused to play anymore.  Her soon-to-be stepfather has bought her a new piano and she won't go near it.  Her rare talent for the instrument has got her accepted to Juilliard without even applying, but she is unwilling to go.  Her grades are also suffering.  Kim: "It's a miracle she graduated from high school.  And she doesn't have one friend without a pierced something."  Steve thinks Ronnie will turn her life around for the better, but Kim is worried.  She begins to cry: "We hurt them, Steve.  Especially Ronnie.  We can try and pretend - -"  Steve interrupts her, unwilling to talk about their past mistakes.

Ronnie walks into the room where her father is composing a song on the piano.  Steve asks Ronnie where she's been all evening.  Ronnie, sullenly: "Out."  Steve points out that it's almost one in the morning.  Ronnie tells him not to wait up for her.   Steve: "If you're gonna be here, you have to - -"  Ronnie cuts him off, angrily: "Well, I don't want to be here, Dad."  She stands up to lean into her dad's face, spitting out the words: "That's just it.  I don't want to be here.  Is that not obvious?  Do you not get that?"  Steve, quietly: "Yeah.  Let's make the best of it, okay?"  He resumes playing the piano.  Ronnie tells him if he continues playing, she's sleeping outside.  She slams down the lid of the piano.  Steve, swallowing, tries to make peace by congratulating her on her acceptance to Juilliard.  Ronnie tells him she's not going.  Steve: "That would be a mistake."  Ronnie, sarcastically: "Well, you and Mom would know about those.  I mean, I've learned from the best."  (Ronnie is bitter because her parents divorced and her dad moved to another state.)  Steve: "That's enough, Ronnie!  D--n it, that's enough!  If you're pissed at me and you want to hurt me, fine, hurt me.  Be mad, be angry, but don't stop playing.  You're too talented."  Ronnie, her arms crossed: "Are we done?"  (Caution: 'd--n' used once as profanity)

Ronnie is in a store looking at music when her friend, Blaze, walks in the door behind her.  Blaze, angry that her boyfriend finds Ronnie attractive, decides to frame Ronnie for shoplifting, knowing she has a past record.  Blaze takes a bracelet from the shelf and slips it into Ronnie's purse before walking past her.  Ronnie, seeing Blaze walk by, greets her.  Blaze, her back turned, ignores her.  Finally, she turns around, accusingly: "I saw how you looked at him."  Ronnie: "What are you talking about?"  Blaze: "I love him, okay?  So stay away."  Ronnie tries to convince Blaze she has no interest in her boyfriend, but Blaze is too blinded by jealousy to see that the interest is all on her boyfriend's part.  Blaze: "You're lying!  I watched you flirt with him."  Ronnie, still trying to defend herself, follows Blaze as she walks out of the store.  The store alarm beeps when Ronnie walks through, and she is stopped by a store employee.  The employee searches Ronnie's purse and finds the 'stolen' bracelet.  Ronnie looks outside to see Blaze smiling.

Steve has seen his teenage daughter (Ronnie) sitting out on the beach at night with a young man (Will).  Steve walks silently up behind Will, saying, in a serious voice: "Good evening."  Startled, Will jumps and turns quickly around.  He stands as he sees Ronnie's father: "Hello, sir."  Steve, somber: "Hey."  Steve points at Will's beach chair, which currently sits inches from Ronnie's chair.  Steve: "Do you mind?"  Will, nervous: "No."  Steve moves the chair several feet away from his daughter.  Ronnie closes her eyes in embarrassment.  Steve, grinding the chair purposefully into the sand as if to cement its permanent position, eyes Will meaningfully.  He then walks over to Ronnie's chair, dragging his foot in a line between the two chairs, creating a visible boundary between the two teens.  He looks at Will, raising his eyebrows.  Will, respectfully: "Yes, sir.  I - - I understand sir."  Steve pointedly looks at his watch and walks silently away.

Jonah and his dad, Steve, are working together to build a stained-glass window for a church.  Jonah: "Hey, Dad?  Do you and Mom ever talk about getting back together?"  Steve reminds Jonah that his mother is getting remarried.  Jonah: "So?  You have dibs.  You married her first."  Steve: "Yes, I did.  And it was a good marriage.  It was.  It lasted a long, long time.  We had two great kids out of it.  It's just, you know, love's not always...it's not always enough.  It's probably...hard to understand."  Jonah changes the subject.

Ronnie is sitting on the couch, sulking.  Her father, Steve, asks if she's doing okay and gets only a glare in response.  Ronnie's boyfriend, Will, knocks on the door.  Ronnie opens the door only to slam it in his face, telling him to leave.  Will, clueless as to why Ronnie would be angry, asks her what is the matter.  She hits the door several times, telling him to leave, then stalks into her room.  Steve opens the door.  Will: "I'm sorry, sir.  Could you tell me what's going on?"  Steve: "Well, that would require my understanding how the female brain works, which I don't, but if you'd like to come in and be clueless together, you're more than welcome."  Will prefers waiting outside.  Both men walk away, confused.

Ronnie is angry because she has just discovered her boyfriend, Will, is taking his ex-girlfriend to his sister's wedding.  Ronnie stalks out of the house, Will chasing after her to explain.  Ronnie doesn't want to hear any explanations.  Will: "Ronnie, it's complicated, okay?  My parents are...it's just not a good time to disappoint them."  Ronnie doesn't understand why he's letting them control his life.  Will: "It's not that simple."  Ronnie suggests they might break up: "Maybe you should find someone that's more suited to your lifestyle."  (Will is extremely wealthy.)  Ronnie: "You know, with her own rich parents, her own perfect mansion - -"   Will interrupts, frustrated: "Ronnie, there is nothing perfect about that house.  I mean, can you not see that?  My parents are holding on by a thread.  Perfect?  Nothing's been perfect in my family in a long time."  Will, his voice cracking, tells of his brother's death in a car accident the previous year.  His mother had been driving the car and when she turned to reprimand the boys for goofing off, she lost control of the car.  Will: "It's just so hard to feel happy in that house.  It's the only reason I didn't invite you to the wedding."

Several months ago, an old church (a famous town landmark) burned down mysteriously.  Will and Scott know what happened because Scott was involved in the accidental fire.  The boys have kept it a secret, and the whole town believed it to have been caused by a man named Steve.  Now, Will is dating Steve's daughter and feels terrible because even Steve believes in his own guilt (he had passed out inside the building).  Will asks Scott if he can talk to him privately to ask him to tell the truth about the fire.  Scott is angry with the request.  Will tries to make his friend see that an innocent man is taking the blame.  Scott, however, is unmoved: "You know that if you say anything to anybody about that night, my life is over.  They'll say it was arson, Will, and you know that."  Scott returns upstairs to work, telling Will to forget about it.

Ronnie encounters Blaze and her boyfriend, Marcus, fighting.  (Blaze was a former friend who framed Ronnie for shoplifting.)  Marcus is telling Blaze that he wants money and Blaze says she doesn't have any.  Marcus pushes her and tells her to get it.  Ronnie, concerned for Blaze, interrupts to ask if she's okay.  Marcus and Blaze both tell Ronnie to leave.  Blaze chases after Marcus as he tries to drive away from her.  She is begging him not to leave her, she has no other place to live.  Marcus tells her to shut up and drives away.  Blaze looks at Ronnie angrily: "Great!  Did you see what you did?  Are you happy now?"  She collapses onto the dirt road, crying.  Ronnie: "You don't deserve that, Blaze."  Blaze: "You don't know me, okay.  You don't know anything.  You just don't get it."  Blaze sobs, her face in her hands.  Ronnie takes her money out of her pocket and sets it on the ground next to Blaze.  (Ronnie's dad had given her money to buy a dress.)  She walks away.

Ronnie is seated on the floor of the hospital hallway outside her father's room.  He had collapsed suddenly on the beach and now the doctors say he is dying.  The doctor exits his room and sits down next to Ronnie.  Ronnie, her face streaked with tears, asks the doctor if she is sure her father is dying.  Doctor, gently: "We'll make him as comfortable as we can, but the cancer has spread to his lungs."  Ronnie: "How long?"  Doctor: "It's hard to know.  But we're not going to quit, okay?"  Doctor: "Ronnie, I want to tell you something.  When your father realized how serious his condition was, a couple months ago, he asked that we cut back on his medication."  Ronnie: "Why?"  Doctor: "Because he wanted to be here.  Really be here, with you and your brother.  That's what he said."  Ronnie silently rises to enter her dad's room.

Ronnie, angry that her father didn't tell her he was dying, confronts him in his hospital room.  Ronnie: "You said you were fine.  You're not fine!  That was a lie!"  Steve: "I hoped.  I didn't lie.  It's not the same thing."  Ronnie: "Is this why you brought me here this summer?  So you wouldn't have to be alone while..."  (Ronnie's parents are divorced and she and her brother are staying with their dad for the summer.)  Ronnie breaks down: "Why didn't you tell us?"  Steve: "That's not what I wanted this summer to be about."  Ronnie: "Well, it is!  It is now, Daddy!"  Steve, gently: "No, it's not.  It's just another part of a terrific summer.  Not one of the better parts, I admit."  Ronnie, crying, tells her father she loves him.   She lays down beside her father, holding him while she cries.

For months, Steve has taken the blame for burning down the town's historic church.  Knowing that Steve is dying, Scott has finally decided to tell him the truth about what really happened that night.  Scott describes to Steve the drinking party he and his friends were having behind the church.  The boys began to play with fire, and before they knew it, the church was burning.  Steve sits down in shock (he had believed himself guilty, having passed out inside the church).  Will: "We should have told you sooner, sir."  Scott, obviously remorseful: "That's my fault.  Will wanted to tell the police right away, and I begged him not to.  But we're gonna go there right after we're done here."  Steve, his face full of compassion for the boys: "No, don't do that."  Will: "People think it was you, sir."  Steve: "Yeah, they do.  They will.  So what?"  Scott closes his eyes in shame at Steve's sacrifice.  Steve continues: "It's...it's fine.  Really.  I don't want you to do that, okay?  This stays between us."  Scott: "Thank you, sir."

Jonah is sitting in his dad's house, crying.  His mother is about to take him home and he knows he'll never see his dying father again.  Jonah looks up as his dad, Steve, walks in the room.  Steve, looking ill: "Hey buddy, you okay?"  Jonah turns around, crying: "Are you gonna say goodbye?  I really don't want to hear it."  Steve: "Good, 'cause I'm not gonna say it.  I'm not gonna say goodbye, because I'm not going anywhere.  Okay?  Come here."  Jonah walks over to his father, throwing himself into his arms.  Steve: "Every time a light shines through that window that we built...or any window at all...that's me.  Okay?  I'm not going away."  Steve's daughter, Ronnie, listens from another room, crying.

Ronnie walks into the room where her composer father is writing a song for her.  Steve, Ronnie's father, is dying of cancer.  When asked how the song is progressing, Steve tells Ronnie he won't be able to finish it.  His pain is too great to continue.  Ronnie bows her head as her father slowly walks outside to sit on the porch.  Ronnie sits at the piano to finish writing the song herself.  As she plays, Steve sits listening, smiling as he remembers the last few weeks they've spent together.  Walks on the beach, sitting and staring at the waves, laughing during the daily chores of life...each moment was precious for Steve.  Ronnie looks up from the piano, smiling as she finishes the song for her father.  Her smile fades as she notices the glass next to Steve's still hand is overturned.  She begins to cry, knowing her father has died.
