ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

After Ariel saves Eric and falls in love with him at first sight, she returns to the sea, where Sebastian, a crab who serves as Triton's adviser and court composer, tries to persuade her that life underwater is far better and more desirable than living among humans.

The crab Sebastian barely escapes a French chef's clutches as he sings "Les Poissons," narrowly avoiding being turned into a crabcake for lunch.

Ariel has found several man-made items at the bottom of the sea.  She has brought her treasures to Scuttle, knowing he claims to be an expert in all things human.  She hands Scuttle a fork and he examines it excitedly.  Scuttle: "This is special.  This is very, very unusual.  It's a dinglehopper.  Humans use these little babies to straighten their hair out."  To demonstrate, Scuttle uses it on his own feathers, causing them to stand on end: "Ya got an aesthetically pleasing configuration of hair that humans go nuts over."  He next takes up a tobacco pipe: "This I haven't seen in years.  This is wonderful.  A banded, bulbous snarfblatt.  The snarfblatt dates to prehistorical times when humans used to sit around and stare at each other all day.  Got very boring.  So, they invented this snarfblatt to make fine music."  Scuttle blows on the pipe, but it only gurgles as sand and seaweed squirt out of it.

Ariel has thoughtlessly missed her father's special concert, which he had planned just for her.  Triton: "I just don't know what we're going to do with you, young lady."  Ariel: "Daddy, I'm sorry.  I just forgot."  He tells her that everything he had worked for was ruined.  Flounder jumps in to defend Ariel, but makes things worse by revealing that the two of them had been up to the surface.  Triton, furious: "You went up to the surface again!  Ariel, how many times must we go through this?"  Triton has forbidden his daughter to go to the surface because he fears she will be hurt by humans.  Ariel, however, is interested in humans and rebelliously continues to defy her father: "I'm sixteen years old.  I'm not a child anymore."  Triton: "Don't you take that tone of voice with me, young lady!  As long as you live under my ocean, you'll obey my rules."  He won't allow Ariel to say another word and she swims off angrily.  After she leaves, Sebastian sighs: "Teenagers.  They think they know everything.  You give them an inch.  They swim all over you."

Ariel is in her cave of human treasures, still reeling from her father forbidding her to have anything to do with humans.  She looks around at all her beautiful things, singing: ♪ "...Wouldn't you think I'm a girl, a girl who has everything?" ♪ She goes on to describe some of her treasures, singing: ♪ "...But who cares?  No big deal, I want more...  I want to be where the people are, I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancing...  Up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun...  Wandering free, wish I could be, part of that world...  What would I give, if I could live, out of these waters?  What would I pay, to spend a day, warm on the sand?  Betcha on land, they understand, bet they don't reprimand their daughters..." ♪ Ariel hungers for the life she thinks will be better than the one she is living now.  She imagines that everything on land is better than it is underwater and she longs to be a part of it.

Grimsby is giving Eric his birthday present...a gigantic statue of himself.  He tells Eric pointedly he had hoped to give it to him as a wedding present.  Eric: "Come on, Grim.  Don't start.  You're not still sore because I didn't fall for the princess of Glowerhaven?"  Grimsby: "Oh, Eric, it isn't me alone.  The entire kingdom wants to see you happily settled down with the right girl."  Eric, dreamily looking out at the ocean: "Oh, she's out there somewhere.  I just...I just haven't found her yet."  Grimsby: "Perhaps you haven't been looking hard enough."  Eric: "Believe me, Grim, when I find her, I'll know.  Without a doubt, it'll just...bam...hit me, like lightning."  The two look up, surprised, as lightning lights up the sky.

King Triton walks in on his daughter talking to a statue of a human.  He has discovered that she has fallen in love with a man and has come to forbid the relationship.  Triton: "Is it true you rescued a human from drowning?  Contact between the human world and the mer world is strictly forbidden."  Ariel: "He would have died!"  Triton: "One less human to worry about."  Ariel: "You don't even know him."  Triton: "Know him?  I don't have to know him!  They're all the same.  Spineless, savage, harpooning fish-eaters incapable of any feeling..."  Ariel interrupts her father to tell him that she loves Eric.  Triton, furious, determines to get through to his daughter by destroying all her man-made treasures, including her beloved statue of Eric!

Ariel is brokenhearted because her father has forbidden her to see the man she loves.  The evil sea witch, Ursula, has sent her two eels to tempt Ariel to come to her for the answer to her problems.  The eels pretend to feel sorry for Ariel's situation.  Eels: "We represent someone who can help you.  Someone who can make all your dreams come true.  Just imagine...you and your prince...together forever.  Ursula has great powers."  Ariel, frightened: "The sea witch?  I couldn't possibly.  No, get out of here!  Leave me alone!"  The eels nonchalantly start to swim away: "Suit yourself.  It was only a suggestion."  They surreptitiously kick a face broken from a statue toward Ariel.  The face, depicting her love, Eric, lands at her side.  She picks it up, telling the eels to wait.  The eels are ready for her change of heart.

Ariel and Eric are on their first date and rowing through the lake in a boat.  Sebastian decides to create a romantic atmosphere so the two lovebirds can share their first kiss.  He begins to sing: ♪ "There you see her, sitting there across the way...  She don't got a lot to say, but there's something about her...  And you don't know why, but you're dying to try, you want to kiss the girl...  Yes, you want her, look at her, you know you do..."  ♪ The two float lazily through the moonlit waters and Eric takes her hand.  Sebastian continues his song: ♪ "Don't be scared, you've got the mood prepared, go on and kiss the girl...  Don't stop now, don't try to hide it, how you want to kiss the girl..." ♪  The fireflies shine starry lights around the couple, who are lost in each other's eyes.  Eric leans forward and Ariel closes her eyes.  They move toward each other slowly, almost touching lips before their boat capsizes.

Ariel has signed a deal with Ursula, the sea witch, that gives her soul to Ursula for all eternity.  Now that Ariel has forfeited on her part of the deal, Ursula drags Ariel away to her lair.  King Triton, Ariel's father, demands Ariel's release.  Ursula tells Triton of the deal and Ariel tearfully begs for his forgiveness.  Triton tries to physically destroy the contract, but it is legal and binding.  Ursula: "But I might be willing to make an exchange for someone even better."  Ursula holds up a new contract for Triton to sign.  He does so, forfeiting his own life for his daughter's.  He is immediately transformed into one of Ursula's pathetic slug-like creatures.

Ursula, the sea witch, is determined to destroy Ariel and Eric.  Using her new powers stolen from King Triton, Ursula transforms herself into a towering giant.  She laughs evilly, looking down at Ariel and Eric: "You pitiful, insignificant fools!  Now I am the ruler of all the ocean!  The waves obey my every whim.  The sea and all its spoils bow to my power!"  Ursula uses Triton's wand to make a giant whirlpool in the ocean.  The whirlpool dredges up old shipwrecks.  Eric takes command of a ship, steering it toward Ursula, who is too distracted with her own success to notice.  Eric turns the ship into Ursula, stabbing her with the mast.  She dies, dissolving into the ocean.
