ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

It is the bull riding championships in Las Vegas and Luke is the young, talented front-runner.  The announcer introduces the young bull rider as he prepares to compete, telling the crowd that Luke is going up against the toughest bull in the game.  Rango has an unbeaten record of 74 consecutive knock-offs and is able to strike fear into the heart of the most hardened competitor.  The bull's eyes roll in fury as Luke mounts his back from inside the chute.  He bucks and snorts, trying to dislodge the thing from his back.  The crowd cheers as Luke tells the cowboys to release the bull from the chute.  Then begins a terrifying 4.66 seconds as Luke holds onto the raging bull with one hand and tries to keep his balance with the other.  With more than three seconds still to go, Rango succeeds in launching Luke off his back.  Luke sails into the air, rolling several times before everything goes black.

Luke and Sophia are driving down a dark and rainy road when, suddenly, Luke stops the vehicle.  He turns the truck around, stopping at a break in the guardrail he had noticed a moment before.  Running down the hill, Luke spots a car in flames.  Yelling for Sophia to call an ambulance, Luke races to the car, seeing a barely-conscious man sitting in the driver's seat.  The man has a bleeding head wound and his face is deathly pale.  Luke wrenches the door open and pulls the man from the burning car.  They make it safely away from the vehicle just as the engine explodes, sending another jolt of flames into the air.  Luke and Sophia speed toward the hospital, where personnel are ready to rush the man into the emergency ward.

Ira is fighting on a foreign battlefield in World War II.  The sky is black with night and Allied soldiers are running from German bombs and bullets.  Diving into a foxhole, Ira and a friend have made it across the treacherous ground safely.  Breathing quickly from exertion and relief, they begin to hear a nearby cry for help.  They peek over the edge of the foxhole, seeing an American soldier wounded and unable to move.  Ira: "We can't just leave him out there!"  Wounded soldier: "Help!  Help me!"  Ira looks back over the battlefield he just crossed, seeing the fires and the bombs and the smoke.  Ira, gritting his teeth, hands his pack to his friend: "I gotta save him."  Friend: "Are you crazy?  Those Panzers (German tanks) are 200 yards away!  You'll never make it back!"  Ira won't be deterred from attempting to rescue the wounded man.  Cautiously running to the man, Ira is horrified when he sees the extent of the man's wounds.  He knows his only choice is to carry him to safety.  Lifting the man onto his back, Ira struggles toward the foxhole.  Halfway there, he is shot.  Stumbling briefly, he puts the man back on his back and continues toward the foxhole.  (Caution: s-word whispered)

An aged Ira is relating the most heart-wrenching time of his life to Sophia.  Decades earlier, his beloved wife had left him for a time.  Ira remembers, seeing Ruth in his mind, walking toward their front door with her suitcases.  Bitter over years of childlessness, Ruth has decided she can no longer be with the man who can't give her the family she so desperately desires.  As she approaches the door, Ira stops her, tears in his eyes.  She begs him not to speak, but he has to tell her one more thing.  Admitting that he loved her from the first moment he saw her, he tells his wife that his love for her has only grown from that moment.  Ira, sobbing: "I think you should go.  I love you so much, I just want you to be happy.  Even if that happiness no longer includes me."  Ira embraces a stunned Ruth one last time before deliberately walking away, leaving her alone to make her decision.  When the door quietly closes with a click, Ira closes his eyes.  Back in the present, elderly Ira explains his actions to Sophia: "Love requires sacrifice.  Always."

Ira is telling Sophia about his life with his beloved wife, Ruth: "It wasn't exactly happily every after, but it was pretty close.  We focused on celebrating all the wonderful things we had, rather than regretting the things we didn't."  Ira's story flashes forward to the recent past, when he woke one morning to discover Ruth had died in her sleep.  We see Ira weep as he realizes Ruth is gone.  He holds her tenderly, sobbing.  And, later, at the gravesite, when he stands alone in the rain, he thinks: "So many wonderful years.  But, of course, not nearly enough."

Luke and Sophia are at the art auction of their recently-deceased friend, Ira.  Luke, having just purchased the amateurish portrait of Ira's beloved late wife, is surprised when Ira's lawyer stops the auction.  The wealthy collectors in the room stare in silence as the lawyer gives Luke some stunning news.  Lawyer, reading from Ira's will: "Portrait of Ruth may not be the most valuable painting in my collection, but it was the most precious to me because it reminded me daily of my beloved Ruth.  And so, the terms of my will are simple.  Whoever purchases the portrait will receive the collection in its entirety.  Ladies and gentlemen, the auction is over."  The silence in the room is broken by dozens of outraged exclamations by those disappointed in their hopes of acquisition.  Luke and Sophia can only stand in shock, overwhelmed by the realization that they have just inherited millions because they valued something no one else wanted.
