ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Young Thom lives for each moment his father contacts him on his ham radio.  (His father spends most of his time travelling around the world, searching for adventure and opportunity.)  We first see Thom as a small child, standing on his tiptoes to reach the radio.  Father, via the radio: "This is the big one, buddy.  A dream come true."  The years creep by, and now Thom's feet are sticking out of the end of his too-small bed.  His father is still going away to far-off places, each time expecting to find the pot at the end of the rainbow.  Father, via the radio: "How long have I been gone?"  Thom: "Two months and seventeen days."  Father: "Well, don't worry, because Samoa is what we've been looking for.  This one is going to be my legacy."  More years go by and Thom anxiously watches his radio.  Finally, his father calls: "Hey, kiddo.  I'm right on the verge of something big here.  But I'm not going to make it home for your birthday.  I'm really sorry, but opportunities like this are hard to find, Son."  Thom's face falls and his father's voice fades away into static.

Thomas is picking up his kids at his ex-wife's house when her boyfriend greets him cheerfully.  Thomas responds with his usual slightly sarcastic, casual humor.  Rick climbs down from his ladder to give Thomas a hug.  Rick, warmly: "How are you?"  Thomas, still slightly sarcastic: "I'm better now, thank you."  Rick, genuinely concerned with Thomas's welfare: "No, really.  How are you?"  Thomas, maintaining his business-like composure: "Really.  I'm good."  Rick stares him in the eye for a few moments, seemingly trying to see into his soul.  Thomas, uncomfortable, almost whimpers: "Please look away."  Rick continues his soul-searching gaze.  Thomas, whispering and looking down, uncomfortable with Rick's level of vulnerability: "Okay.  I will."

Thom arrives at his ex-wife's house to find his teenage daughter, Janie, in emotional upheaval over a boy.  Thom decides to take a stab at encouraging the lovelorn girl, but Billy warns his dad to tread carefully.  Billy, describing his sister in an undertone: "95 pounds of C-4 explosives on a hair-trigger.  Make sure you clip the right wire.  Otherwise..."  Thom makes a sound mimicking an explosion.  Billy, not holding out much hope for his father's survival: "You're in the 'Hurt Locker' now, Popper."  Thom succeeds in encouraging his reluctant daughter to open up.  Janie, bitterly: "What do you do if you like somebody, but they don't like you back?"  Thom breathes heavily for a few moments.  Thom, finally: "Janie...you're a powerful woman.  You're an independent lady.  You don't even need a man, really.  Look at Martha Stewart.  She's rich, and she sleeps with her dogs."  Disgusted with the advice, Janie gets up to leave: "I don't even know why I thought for one second I could talk to you!"  Billy, sighing: "He cut both wires."

Thom, a real estate buyer, is meeting with the wealthy Mrs. Van Gundy to discuss the sale of her valuable restaurant.  Before discussing business, Mrs. Van Gundy wants to find out about Thom's family and his values.  Mrs. Van Gundy's family has owned the restaurant for three generations and her loyal employees are like family members.  She tells Thom that she doesn't want to sell her restaurant to just anyone.  On hearing her priorities, Thom insists there is nothing more important to him than family.  Mrs. Van Gundy wants to test this assertion: "Are you married?"  Thom (who is divorced), hesitatingly: "Not...presently."  Van Gundy: "Oh.  Any children?"  Thom: "Two.  And we have the most magical...alternate weekends together."  Van Gundy: "Tell me about your father."  Thom, looking like a deer caught in headlights: "Uh...what can I say?  A father is a father.  And he was no different."  Thom smiles nervously.  Van Gundy: "You were close?"  Thom: "Yes.  Well...we're related."  When Thom tries to turn the conversation to business, Mrs. Van Gundy brings it back to what's really important to her.  Van Gundy: "Let me tell you something.  I could sell this place to any number of sharp-tongued snake-oil salesmen like yourself.  But I'm not selling to anyone until I know what they're worth."  Thom, adjusting his silk tie confidently: "You mean, my net worth?"  Van Gundy: "If that's how you interpret it, that tells me something.  Well, I'm afraid your time is up, Mr. Popper.  The Tavern is not presently for sale."

Thom has been saddled with six unwanted penguins and has been trying to find a way to get rid of them.  However, when his son arrives for his birthday celebration, it becomes apparent that Thom's children love the penguins.  The doorbell rings, and Thom goes to answer it, finding a zookeeper waiting to take the penguins to the city zoo.  Thom furtively closes the door so his kids won't discover his plans for the penguins.  Thom explains to the man that he will give him the penguins as soon as his children are gone: "I just have to take care of the politics.  They're yours, just not right now.  I'll call you."  Thom returns inside to find his son staring at him suspiciously: "What did that man mean, 'I'm here for the penguins?'"  Thom quickly invents a tale, casting the zookeeper as a professional penguin-bather.  Thom's daughter walks in, her arms folded, staring at her father.  Son: "They're mine, right?  I can keep them?"  Thom's daughter, knowing her father, encourages her brother to make Thom promise.  Thom: "Yes."  Daughter: "Say the words."  Thom's wife joins the discussion, warning Thom not to disappoint the children with broken promises as he has done in the past.  Thom, sighing: "I promise."

Thom is hanging out with his kids when his teenage daughter, Janie, gets a text message that upsets her.  Thom begs Janie to confide in him, wanting to help his daughter with her boy troubles.  With much reluctance, Janie spills the whole story to her father on their way down in the elevator.  Tears in her eyes and talking a mile a minute, Janie tells the whole torrid tale to her father, who tries to listen but gets bogged down in the details.  Janie, frustrated at her father's lack of understanding, starts to get into her mother's car.  Thom pulls her back: "Look, sweetheart, maybe this just wasn't meant to be.  Don't waste your tears.  There's gonna be a lot of other guys."  Janie, sarcastically: "So?  Just forget about it and move on?  Great.  Thanks.  I feel much better."  Janie turns her back on her father, getting into the car.  Thom, muttering to Amanda, Janie's mother: "It's good advice."  Amanda: "You know what?  Maybe she doesn't want advice.  Maybe she just wants you to be her dad and listen."  Thom: "But what if my advice is amazing?"  Amanda, rolling her eyes: "Good night, Popper."  Thom: "It's a shame to waste it."

Thom is taking his teen daughter, Janie, to buy a dress for the dance.  Thom and his younger son, Billy, are dozing on the shop couch, waiting for Janie to find a dress she likes.  Janie calls out, telling her father that nothing looks good on her.  Thom, tired of waiting, tells Janie to come out in whatever she has on.  Janie reluctantly walks out, looking stunning in a silver dress.  Even Billy tells her she looks beautiful.  Janie brushes off Billy's comment, looking to her father for affirmation.  Thom, smiling: "You're an angel."  Janie's face lights up and she returns to her dressing room.  Billy pats his father on the shoulder comfortingly, seeing that he is getting choked up.  Thom, proudly, to Billy: "I made that."  Billy, confused: "What?"  Thom: "Tell you about it later."

Thom and his ex-wife, Amanda, are at a restaurant for dinner.  When a waitress tries to seat them at a specific table, Thom quickly requests a different one.  The waitress complies, but Amanda notices him staring at the first table strangely.  Amanda: "Okay.  What is it with that table?"  Thom initially tries to pretend nothing is wrong, but, at Amanda's continued prompting, he admits that the table has an emotional significance in his life.  His father, who spent most of Thom's life on the road, brought Thom to this restaurant on his rare visits to town.  The table is the one where they always sat.  Thom, bitter-sweetly: "It was about the only time I ever got to see him."  Thom, who has deeply-held resentments toward his absent father looks surprised with himself when he realizes that the table represents good times.  Thom: "It's actually a good memory.  Sometimes they're the worst."
