ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

On a black screen the words appear: "In the beginning there was nothing."  A glowing green snake slithers through grass, its tongue flicking rapidly.  Narrative continues: "Temptation led to sin."  A heart-shaped fruit pulsates on the end of a tree branch.  A hand reaches up and plucks it.  Narrative: "Cast out of Eden, Adam and Even had three sons:  Cain, Abel, and Seth."  A silhouette of a man wielding a large stone against his brother tells of the first murder.  Narrative: "Cain killed Abel and fled to the East, where he was sheltered by a band of fallen angels:  The Watchers."  The Watchers, huge rock-like beasts with glowing eyes, rise up from the barren landscape.  Narrative: "These Watchers helped Cain's descendants build a great industrial civilization."  Buildings spring up over the earth like an infectious disease.  Narrative: "Cain's cities spread wickedness, devouring the world."  A view from space shows Earth, its land all in one giant mass, as black tumors quickly engulf the planet.  Narrative: "Only the descendants of Seth defend and protect the creation."

Noah and Naameh are working in their camp when Ham approaches his father.  Ham is troubled because he knows the flood is coming soon, yet he and Japheth have no wives: "Who is there for us?"  Noah reminds Ham of God's miraculous provisions for them: "Did you see how He made the forest to give us wood for the ark?  How He sent the birds?"  Ham nods.  Noah: "So...hasn't He sent everything we need?"  Ham smiles, deciding to continue to trust God to provide for all his needs.

Noah and his family stand in front of the nearly-completed ark.  A horde of people are coming out of the forest, led by Tubal-cain.  Noah, wary of danger, goes out to meet them.  Tubal-cain: "When I heard talk of miracles, I dismissed them.  But then I saw the birds with my own eyes, flying here, and I had to come."  Noah: "There isn't anything for you here."  Tubal-cain, self-proclaimed king of the world, tells Noah that everything belongs to him, including Noah's "stronghold."  Tubal-cain: "Did you really think you could protect yourself from me in that?"  Noah: "It's not protection from you."  Tubal-cain: "Then what is it?"  Noah: "An ark to hold the innocent when the Creator sends his deluge to wipe out the wicked from this world."  Tubal-cain: "The Creator does not care what happens in this world.  Nobody has heard from Him since He marked Cain.  We are alone, orphaned children, cursed to struggle by the sweat of our brow to survive.  D----d if I don't do everything it takes to do just that!"  (Caution: d-word used)

Noah exits the ark and looks out over the clearing.  Hundreds of animals are emerging from the woods and converging upon the ark.  Elephants and bears, camels and horses - - four-legged beasts of every kind have gathered to board Noah's ark.  Noah stands amazed, watching as the animals walk of their own accord into the vessel.  Inside, Noah's family members move among the animals, waving the dishes of smoldering medicine that sends the animals into a deep sleep in preparation for their voyage.

Naameh confronts Noah after he has made a journey out into the world to find wives for his sons.  Noah has returned burdened by the vision of man's depravity that he saw in the camps: "The wickedness is not just in them.  It's in all of us.  I saw it."  Naameh doesn't want to believe that their family is sinful: "No.  There is goodness in us.  Look at our boys...Shem's loyalty, Japheth's kindness, Ham's integrity.  Good men."  Noah: "Shem is blinded by desire.  Ham is covetous.  Japheth lives only to please.  I am no better."  Noah tells his wife that even she bears a sinful nature, worshipping her children as idols.  Noah: "We're no different."

Tubal-cain looks out at the beginnings of the great storm.  He sulks at God: "I am a man.  Made in Your image.  Why will You not converse with me?"  The warlord takes a piece of the fiery Zohar and puts it in the end of his staff.  Going outside into the rain, Tubal-cain walks through the panic-stricken crowd, still raging at God: "I give life.  I take life away.  As You do!  And I am like You, am I not?  Speak to me."  He climbs to the top of a large rock, striking his staff against it and sending his fiery flare into the sky.  Tubal-cain, screaming towards the heavens: "Speak to me!"  Hearing no answer to his demands, Tubal-cain turns to address the crowd: "It has begun!  Death comes from the heavens!  This rain is meant to wash us off the face of this world.  But we are men.  We decide if we live or die.  We are men!  And men united are invincible!"  Tubal-cain rallies his followers and plots with them to destroy Noah and take control of his ark.

A view of Earth from space shows swirling storm clouds covering the whole of the planet.  Noah looks up at the sky, feeling the rain falling on his face.  Suddenly, geysers of water begin shooting out of the ground, collapsing the earth and sending men flying in all directions.  The scaffolding begins to fall off the ark.  A man outside tries to hack his way into the shelter of the vessel and eventually succeeds.  Crowds of people are swept away by the flooding water.  Noah stands just outside the door, watching the destruction and guarding the ark from any attackers.  The ark has finally been set adrift by the water, and Noah's family members inside are jerked violently by the sudden movement.  The family sits in the darkness, frightened and worried about Noah.  They call out to each other in the blackness and huddle together for comfort.  Suddenly, light shines on them as Noah opens the door and enters.  The door closes behind him with a booming thud, returning the family to darkness.

Noah and his family are sitting in the semi-darkness, hearing the sounds of the storm outside the thick walls of the ark.  Noah: "Soon everything we knew will be gone.  All that is left of creation will lie within these walls.  Outside...just the waters of chaos again."  Noah looks at his family, knowing they are afraid of the destruction they have seen and of the unknown future.  He decides to tell them a story...the first story his father told him as a child and the first story he told each of his children.  Noah lifts their small lantern and extinguishes the light, covering them all with utter darkness: "In the beginning, there was nothing..."  Noah tells the story of creation: "The breath of the Creator fluttered against the face of the void, whispering, 'Let there be light.'"  The utter blackness is dispelled by a bright sphere of light that expands until it spreads across the universe.  Noah: "And light was.  And it was good.  The first day."  Noah goes on to tell the rest of the story and we see a kind of time-lapse photography of Earth's beginnings.  Lightning flashes around the sphere of the forming planet.  Mountains are birthed out of the water.  Green begins to cover the ground.  Cells come alive in the waters, transform into sea creatures, which transform into land creatures, the last of which are monkeys.  Finally, Noah tells of God's final creation: "And then the Creator made man.  And by his side, woman.  He gave them a choice.  Follow the temptation of darkness, or hold onto the blessing of light."  A snake slithers up to a green tree.  A fruit resembling a beating heart pulses on the end of a branch.  A hand reaches up to take it.  Noah: "And, so, for the ten generations since Adam, sin has walked within us."  Cain is shown killing Abel, and man after man after man takes his place, killing again and again.  But God has made a provision to start anew.  Noah: "Now, it begins again."  (Caution: the pictorial illustration of creation shown here seems to point to a theistic evolution)

Noah and his family are standing on a peak of Mount Ararat.  Noah has gathered them in order to pass his blessing onto the next generation, his grandchildren.  Noah: "The Creator made Adam in His image and placed the world in his care.  That birthright was passed down to us.  To my father, then to me, and to my sons.  That birthright is now passed to you, our grandchildren."  Noah wraps a snakeskin around his arm, touching each of the babies with it.  Noah, continuing: "This will be your work and your responsibility.  So, I say to you, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth."  Noah closes his eyes for a moment, as if in prayer.  He opens his eyes, looking up towards heaven.  Suddenly, the sun bursts forth from the clouds, and ring after ring of rainbows spread out over the sky.
