ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Jack awakens in the year 2077.  As he moves about the space-age station where he and the only other Earth-bound human reside, he thinks back over the events of the previous fifty years.  Jack: "It's been half a century since the scavengers destroyed our moon.  Forced to leave their own dying planet, they came to take ours."  A view of the sky shows a decimated moon, a half-eaten globe orbited by refuse and bits of rock.  Jack, while pictures of an empty, ravaged Earth are shown: "Without the moon, the Earth was thrown into chaos.  Earthquakes toppled cities within hours.  Tsunamis wiped out what remained."  Famous landmarks of the old Earth sit, shattered, among rubble and ruin.  A view of the Pentagon shows a crater where a bomb blew out the center.  "Then came the invasion.  We did what we had to do.  We used the nukes.  We won the war, but lost the planet.  Left it contaminated.  Most of it uninhabitable.  What remained of humanity had to leave the Earth."  A view of space over Earth shows the space station designed to hold the survivors as they prepare to migrate to one of Saturn's moons.

Jack is in an old, sunken library, charged with repairing a drone that has fallen somewhere inside the building.  Having just realized that the drone's signal was a ruse, Jack steps into a trap that clamps on his leg and begins to drag him across the floor.  Jack is able to shoot the trap off his leg, but must immediately seek cover from the host of aliens that appear inside the room.  Barely able to see more than glowing eyes and dark forms, Jack can see enough to know that he is surrounded.  Shooting blindly around the room, he gives himself enough cover to be able to reach the rope that will lead him back to the surface and safety.  But, as he makes his ascent, the rope is shot and Jack finds himself falling back to the ground inside the library.  His gun falls into a crevasse and Jack is now alone and weaponless, except for a small pistol.  He aims and fires at the glowing eyes, but they move too quickly for his shots to hit their target.  He is surprised, therefore, when one of the aliens suddenly explodes.  Looking down at his pistol in shock, a noise above him makes him turn his head.  Overhead, he sees one of his drones.  The robot has arrived just in time to save Jack from the trap that was set for him.  Quickly and effortlessly, the machine targets the aliens and takes them out, saving Jack from whatever fate would have awaited him in the hands of his enemies.

Jack has recently learned that he and his partner, Vika, have been deceived by the beings they believed to be their overseers.  (Having rescued Julia from her ship, Jack discovered that the hostile aliens have tricked him into working against humanity.  All the time he thought he was saving the world, he was really destroying it.)  Jack has now returned to the station to save Vika from the aliens.  Vika, however, is angry at Jack for listening to Julia.  Jealous and hurt, she refuses to hear what Jack has to say.  Ignoring his pleading, she contacts Command and informs them that Jack is unfit for service.  Deep inside the station, a weaponized drone is secretly activated by the aliens.  Jack continues trying to convince Vika to leave with him and Julia: "Vika, please.  We have to go now."  Vika, slowly backing away from Jack: "I'm not going anywhere with you, Jack."  Jack: "There's a place I know.  We'll be safe."  Vika, referring to the promised alien haven: "I'm going to Titan."  Jack shakes his head: "There is no Titan.  They lied to us."  Vika begins to cry: "Just stay away from me!"  Jack: "Vika, please, there are things...things you need to know."  Vika, deliberately turning her back on Jack: "I don't want to know!"  Just then, she sees the drone ready to fire on her.  She realizes in her last moments that Jack was right, and she turns around to look at him, terrified.  The drone fires on Vika, turning her into ash.  (Caution: gd-word used once)

Having seen a ship land near the enemy drone he is trying to disable, Jack looks through the scope of his gun, trying to see who has come out of the ship.  The scope is too blurry to give much detail, so Jack runs toward the site, yelling for the man to stop his examination of the drone.  When Jack is finally close enough to make out the man's features, he is stunned to find himself face-to-face with his own carbon copy.  The two Jacks face each other, their weapons raised.  Jack drops his weapon first, hoping to convince Jack 2 that he is working for the enemy.  Jack 2 remains distrustful, not knowing he has been deceived by the evil aliens.  Using a moment when Jack 2 is distracted, Jack tackles him and the two wrestle for control of the weapon.  Finally, Jack is able to subdue his counterpart and disable the drone that would have killed them both.

Julia and Jack are staring out at the lake, remembering back to the time before the war.  Julia smiles: "You know what you said to me once?  You said when it was all over, you would build me a house on a lake.  We would grow old and fat together.  And we would fight.  Maybe drink too much."  Jack, sarcastically: "Real romantic."  Julia, continuing: "And then we would die and be buried in a meadow by the lake.  And the world would forget about us.  But we would always have each other."

Jack, knowing he is facing certain death, has voluntarily come to the Tet to destroy the hostile aliens attacking Earth.  Jack, speaking to the alien leader, Sally, tells it the words of the Roman hero, Horatius: "There was a guy, Horatius, held a bridge alone against a whole army.  And what Horatius said was, 'How can a man die better - -'"  Sally, a large triangle-shaped structure with a red, glowing eye, interrupts, telling Jack that his sacrifice is unnecessary: "You don't have to die, Jack."  Jack: "Everybody dies, Sally.  The thing is, to die well."  Jack opens the package he has brought with him, revealing that he has disobeyed Sally's command to bring Julia to the Tet.  A door opens, revealing several drones ready to kill Jack.  Jack, continuing his previous story: "What Horatius said was, 'How can a man die better than facing fearful odds for the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his gods.'"  Jack prepares to set off a bomb to destroy the Tet and everyone onboard, including himself.
