ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Oz is performing his magic show before a gullible, small-town Kansas audience.  Having pretended to pick his trained assistant randomly from the audience, he then proceeds to put her into a trance and cause her to float in the air.  When her body begins to rise at Oz's command, gasps can be heard around the room.  Several skeptics, however, spot the wires holding May's body, and angrily confront the magician.  Prepared for this eventuality, Oz cuts the wires.  Not only does May still float, but he then causes her to disappear, seemingly into thin air, thus erasing any remaining skepticism in the room.  The audience claps wildly, fully convinced.  A young girl in a wheelchair believes so strongly in Oz's magical abilities that she shouts: "Make me walk!"  Oz tries to ignore her and conclude his show, but she won't give up: "But I believe in you."  Her parents add their own pleas, offering what money they have to Oz.  Oz stammers incoherently, trying to find an excuse to escape.  The audience begins to heckle Oz, demanding that he heal the poor girl.  Oz, grasping at straws: "I would make her walk, of course, but unfortunately there is a distemper in the ether tonight."  The audience begins to boo, calling Oz a phony.  The young girl begins to cry, utterly crushed.  Oz's assistant, Frank, lowers the curtain as his master beats a quick retreat.

Annie has come to the travelling circus to tell her old flame, Oz, that she has received a marriage proposal from another man.  Hoping the revelation will nudge Oz, her true love, into offering marriage himself, Annie is disappointed when he congratulates her instead.  Oz, looking sad: "You could do a lot worse than John Gale.  He's a good man."  Annie: "So are you."  Oz: "No.  I'm not.  I'm many things, but a good man is not one of them."  Annie: "But you could be, if you wanted to."  Oz, sighing: "Well, that's just it.  I don't want to.  See, Kansas is full of good men.  Church-going men that get married and raise families.  Men like John Gale.  Men like my father, who spent his whole life tilling the dirt, just to die face-down in it.  I don't want that, Annie."  Oz's face becomes animated with passion for his dreams: "I don't want to be a good man.  I want to be a great one!  I want to be Harry Houdini and Thomas Edison all rolled into one."  Annie: "That's all I ever wanted for you, you know...greatness."  Oz: "Can you understand?"  Annie, sadly: "I do.  But, do you?"

In order to escape quickly from the angry and jealous boyfriends of his casual love interests, Oz takes a hot air balloon that only partly belongs to him.  Laughing as his enemies seethe helplessly below, Oz is confused when they suddenly begin to run away.  Turning around, he sees a huge tornado headed right for him.  Powerless to do anything except scream, Oz is quickly sucked into the whirling vortex.  The balloon spins round and round inside the funnel cloud, and Oz must react quickly as dangerous objects come flying at him from every direction.  Having just narrowly missed being impaled by jagged fence posts, Oz cowers in the bottom of the basket, looking up toward heaven: "Please!  I don't want to die!  I haven't accomplished anything yet!  Get me out of here and I'll do great things!  Please!  Give me a chance!  I promise...I promise, I can change!"  As soon as his vow is uttered, the sound of the wind suddenly stops.

Having been transported to the land of Oz through the eye of a tornado, Oscar stares in wonder at the strange new world around him.  He floats gently down a sapphire river, watching giant, jewel-like flowers unfurl before him.  Vibrant hummingbirds whir in the air and dive through the water, flying among flowers that make the music of bells.  Masses of beautiful butterflies swirl in the air, their wings gently kissing Oscar.  Music seems to emanate from everything - - dripping water, the wind in the reeds, and the fronds of ferns.

Oz and Finley, having rescued the China Girl from her destroyed town, escort her to the yellow brick road so she can make her way to the Emerald City.  Oz gives the girl instructions on how to reach the city and prepares to leave for the Dark Forest.  The China Girl looks up at Oz with large, pleading eyes: "But I wanna go with you."  Oz, knowing he has a dangerous mission ahead, refuses.  Throwing a tantrum, the girl kicks him in the shin.  Oz, firmly: "The answer's no."  The girl begins to sniffle, sob, and, finally, wail.  Oz, to Finley: "It's crying again.  What do I do?"  Finley shrugs.  The China Girl runs to Oz and wraps her little body around his leg, continuing to wail and beg.  Oz tries to shake her off, but he isn't successful.  Finally, he gives up, promising to take the girl with him.  Immediately, her tears disappear, and she skips ahead down the path, humming a little tune.  Oz and Finley, still dazed from the speed of her mood swing, stare after her.

Oz, Glinda, Finley, and the China Girl are running away from Evanora's evil flying gorillas.  Trapped, they come to the edge of a cliff.  Nothing can be seen below them but a sea of clouds.  Oz: "What do we do?"  Glinda: "Just do what I do."  Stepping to the edge of the cliff, Glinda opens her arms wide and jumps, falling down into the clouds.  Oz screams.  Finley immediately begins to follow Glinda, but is stopped by Oz: "Where are you going?"  Finley: "She said to do what she did."  Oz: "Just 'cause she jumped off the cliff, you're gonna jump off the cliff?"  Finley points to his back: "I have wings."  He dives off after Glinda.  Oz: "What about me?"  Hearing a frightening yell behind him, he sees the winged beasts are about to reach him.  Grimacing, he covers his eyes and jumps backward off the cliff.  He disappears into the clouds, screaming.  His screams suddenly stop, and Glinda floats out of the clouds, safely suspended inside a giant bubble.  Bubbles containing the others pop out of the clouds, and they float serenely toward the Emerald City.

Glinda has brought Oscar to meet the people of Oz, who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their messiah.  Believing Oscar to be the wizard of prophecy, sent to save their land from the wicked witch, the people crowd hopefully around Oscar and Glinda.  Oscar whispers to Glinda while they mount the steps in front of the palace.  "You know, I should tell you, um...I might not actually be a wizard."  Glinda, calmly: "Yes, I know."  Oscar looks at her in surprise: "You could tell?"  Glinda: "Yes.  I can also tell you're weak, selfish, slightly egotistical, and a fibber."  Oscar, knowing her estimation of his character to be correct: "Anything you don't know about me?"  Glinda: "Whether or not you'll save my people."  Oscar, surprised: "No, I just told you I'm not the wizard."  Glinda, looking down on the eager people: "But they don't know that.  If you can make them believe, then you're wizard enough.  These are desperate times, after all."  Oz looks down guiltily on the innocent faces of the children before him.  Glinda: "Can you make them believe?"  Oscar: "Will I still get that gold?"  Glinda nods.  Oscar, addressing the crowd: "Good people of Oz...your wizard is here!"  The crowd cheers.

Theodora, looking into her crystal ball, sadly watches her beloved Oz and her beautiful sister, Glinda, laughing together.  With the promptings of her evil sister, Evanora, Theodora begins to believe that Oz has abandoned her for Glinda.  Her pain is so deep, her tears etch wounds in her skin as they course down her cheeks.  Brokenhearted, she begs Evanora to take away her pain.  Evanora, having waited for just such an opportunity to turn her sister to the dark side: "Would you like me to?"  Evanora hands her sister a magic apple: "One bite is all it takes.  One bite and your world will change forever.  One bite and your heart will become impenetrable.  One bite and you and I will finally share the throne.  Unless you'd rather see Oz and Glinda there."  Theodora, obviously torn, is decided by this last thrust into her jealous heart.  She grabs the apple quickly, before she can change her mind, and takes a bite.  Suddenly, her eyes are opened, and she realizes that it is not Glinda who is evil, as she had been told, but Evanora.  Theodora: "Sister, you lied to me!"  Evanora smiles.  Theodora begins to choke painfully, gasping for air: "What is happening to me?"  Evanora, casually: "Oh, it's just your heart withering away.  Fear not, Theodora, for soon you shall feel nothing at all except beautiful wickedness."  Theodora cries out as her body is transformed into a vision of ugliness.

The people of Oz have gathered in preparation to fight the evil witches who are oppressing them.  Oz makes a speech to encourage them before the battle.  Oz: "We are few, but we are mighty!  We face great odds, but we are armed with our courage, our hard work, and, most of all, our faith in one another.  We have nothing to fear as long as we believe.  For when we do believe, anything is possible!"  The crowd cheers.

Glinda has been captured by her evil sisters, Evanora and Theodora.  The frightened people of Oz watch as their beloved Glinda is tortured and taunted by Evanora.  Theodora kneels next to the weakened Glinda: "Give up, Glinda.  Why do you continue to resist?"  Glinda, earnestly: "Because I believe in the Wizard."  Theodora, angrily gesturing toward a hot air balloon rising out of the city: "So did I once.  Behold!"  Glinda looks crestfallen, believing the Wizard must be trying to escape.  Theodora, addressing the people who had trusted in the Wizard for their salvation: "Look!  Your Wizard!"  The people of Oz are in despair.  "Where is he going?"  "He's abandoning us!"  "How could he?"  Glinda can only watch helplessly as Theodora throws a fireball at the balloon, sending it crashing to the ground in flames.  Evanora, smugly: "Not so great and powerful after all."  Glinda hangs her head and sobs, her hope destroyed.

The people of Oz are gathered in the Emerald City, where Glinda is being held prisoner by her two evil sisters.  Oz himself is hidden in a booth filled with mechanical devices of his own making.  The devices have the capability of projecting Oz's image and voice and enhancing them, to create the illusion that Oz is a gigantic, disembodied head.  Having just faked his death, Oz waits in the booth for the right moment to cause the Wizard to "reappear."  After a few tense moments of technical difficulties, his image is again projected before the people and the witches gathered in front of the palace.  Rising out of a cloud of smoke and fire, Oz's face towers over those gathered in the palace courtyard.  Now the witches are truly frightened, believing Oz to have been resurrected into an immortal being.  The people of Oz cheer, sharing the witches' faith that Oz is all-powerful.  Oz, in a booming voice: "Now, witness and observe as I unleash the stars!"  Munchkins stationed earlier outside the city begin to set off the fireworks that Oz had given them.  The witches, never having seen fireworks, are completely undone by the sight and sound of the colorful lights bursting all over the sky.  Oz's last illusion does the trick, and the witches flee in fear, believing the simple magician to be a powerful wizard.
