ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Megan Wheeler is burying her dog after it was shot by a gang of bandits terrorizing the mining camp.  A tear trickles down her cheek as she recites Psalm 23 and tries to reconcile the truth of Scripture with the pain she is experiencing: "'The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.'  But I do want.  'He leadeth me beside still waters.  He restoreth my soul.'  But they killed my dog.  'Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil.'  But I am afraid.  'For Thou art with me.  Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.'  But we need a miracle.  'Thy loving kindness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.'  If You exist.  'And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.'  But I'd like to get more of this life first.  If You don't help us...we're all going to die.  Please...just one miracle?  Amen."

Hull Barret, a gold miner trying to make an honest living, has come into town to buy more supplies after the LaHood gang destroyed his camp.  Having already warned Hull to stay out of town, the LaHood gang begins to beat him with axe handles.  Lighting a match, one of the men is about to set fire to Hull's wagon and newly purchased supplies when he is suddenly doused with a bucket of water.  Stranger, holding the bucket, as the surprised LaHood men stare at him: "You shouldn't play with matches."  Strolling over to a nearby barrel, the stranger grabs an axe handle and commences with disarming and subduing each of Hull's attackers.  Stranger, tossing the axe handle on top of the pile of defeated foes: "There's nothing like a nice piece of hickory."  Hull, as his rescuer walks away: "Much obliged." (Caution: gd-word used)

Coy LaHood, upon returning home, inquiring about the state of his mining operation: "What about Carbon?"  Josh, Coy's son, conveniently forgetting to tell his dad about the arrival of the Stranger (see previous Scene): "Well, we ran another raid through there a few days back.  Put a d--- scare into them, didn't we, McGill?"  McGill, quickly agreeing: "Yeah, yeah, we d--- near run them out this time, lock, stock, and barrel."  Coy, sensing they are not telling him the whole truth: "Uh-huh?"  Stopping and waiting for them to share everything, "Uh-huh?"  Josh: "Seems a stranger sorta came through and pulled 'em together.  Ain't that the way you see it, McGill?"  McGill, nervously agreeing: "Yeah, that's what he done.  He kinda pulled them together."  Coy, crossly: "This one stranger did that?  H---, I expect you boys didn't explain to him just who we are.  I expect that once you EXPLAIN things to him, he'll decide to move on!"  Josh: "Yeah.  There ain't much for a preacher to do around here anyway, right?"  Coy, exasperated: "A preacher!?  You let a preacher into Carbon Canyon?"  Josh, defensively: "We didn't invite him.  He took up with Hull.  What the h---'s wrong with a preacher anyway?"  Coy: "When I left for Sacramento, those tin-pans had all but given up.  Their spirit was nearly broken.  And a man without spirit is whipped.  But a preacher...he could give 'em faith!  S---!  One ounce of faith, they'll be dug in deeper than ticks on a hound.  You boys, you go throw a rope around that man.  You bring him to me!"  Suddenly changing his mind, "No, don't!  If we get too rough, we'll make a martyr out of him.  Don't wanna give them a martyr."  (Caution: d-word used twice, h-word used twice, s-word used)

Coy LaHood is afraid that the preacher will heal the miners' broken spirits and unite them.  If that were to happen he would be unable to bully them into giving up their mining claims.  Coy, trying to bribe the preacher: "You know, it occurred to me it must be difficult for a man of faith to...carry the message on an empty stomach, so to speak.  I thought...why not invite this devout and humble man to preach in town?  Why not let the town be his parish?  In fact...why not build him a brand new church?"  Preacher: "Well, I can see where a preacher'd be mighty tempted by an offer like that."  Coy, hopeful that his plan is working: "Oh, indeed."  Preacher: "First thing you'd know, he'd be thinking about getting himself a batch of new clothes."  Coy: "Why, we'd have them tailor made."  Preacher: "Then he'd start thinking about those Sunday collections."  Coy: "Well, h---, in a town as rich as LaHood, that preacher, oh, he'd be a wealthy man."  Preacher, crushing Coy's hopes: "That's why it wouldn't work.  You can't serve God and mammon both.  Mammon being money." (Caution: h-word used)

Hull Barret and the rest of the miners need to decide whether or not to accept Coy LaHood's offer to buy their claims.  If they refuse to sell, Coy has threatened to send a crooked marshal and his six deputies after them.  Hull: "Well, we all know what we're up against.  LaHood ain't just sayin', 'Take my offer.'  He's sayin', 'Take my offer or else.'"  Discouraged Miner: "We're family men, Hull.  We're no match for seven guns."  Hull: "Yeah, but how many of us--how many of us are there?  Twenty.  I heard the preacher.  I know these men are professionals.  But it's still twenty against seven, ain't it?  And we know how to pull a d--- trigger, don't we?"  Other miners, reluctantly: "Yeah."  Miner: "Look, um, if it comes down to it, I'm willing to fight before I'll quit my claim, but, uh...but d--- it, LaHood's offer's fair.  I still vote that we take his money and we start afresh somewhere else."  Hull: "Oh, startin' fresh always sounds good when you're in trouble...but before we, uh, vote to pack up and leave I think we ought to ask ourselves why we're here.  Because if it's no more than money, then we're no better than LaHood himself.  Spider here asked a question.  If any one of us turned up $1,000 dollars worth of nuggets, would he quit?  H--- no!  He'd build his family a better house and, uh, buy his kids better clothes.  Maybe build a school..."  Looking over to the preacher, "...or a church.  If we were farmers, we'd be planting crops.  If we raised cattle, we'd be tending them.  But we're miners so we dig and pan and break our backs for gold.  But gold ain't what we're about.  It ain't what I'm about.  I came out here to raise a family.  This is my home.  This is my dream.  I've sunk roots here.  And we all, uh, have buried members of our families in this ground.  And this is their dream, too, and they died for it.  Now we're gonna take $1,000 and leave their graves untended?  We owe 'em more than that, don't we?  We owe ourselves more.  Because if we sell out now...what price do we put on our dignity next time?  $2,000?  Less?  Or just the best offer?" (Caution: d-word used twice and h-word used)

Preacher, trying to unite the miners after Spider's murder: "The vote you took the other night showed courage.  You voted to stick together.  That's just what you should do.  Spider made a mistake.  He went into town alone.  A man alone is easy prey.  Only by standing together are you going to be able to beat the LaHoods of the world.  No matter what happens tomorrow, don't you forget that."
