ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Blind Jasper stands in the water of the river, ready to baptize the two strangers who have come across his property.  Jasper: "There's sheep in this world, and there's wolves in this world.  I may not have my eyes, but I know the difference.  And I know you two boys are just two fleece-wearing, weary travelers who lost your way.  Neither one of you are wolves.  You're just sheep that strayed from His flock."  Jasper tells the men he is going to donate supplies for them to make a raft to get to their destination: "Because I figure it's my duty to get you back to your Shepherd.  Now, I can't have you boys running off from here with your hands all dirty and everything, because a wolf might hunt you down just by the smell of your past sins.  So, we gonna clean you up right with a baptism."  Smiling, Blind Jasper lifts a handful of water.  Watching from the river bank, Zak whispers to Tyler: "What's a baptism?"  Tyler: "It's like swimming."  Jasper: "Ya'all boys come on down here and bathe in the warm waters of forgiveness."  Tyler refuses, saying he's more of a baptism-by-fire type, but Zak happily enters the water.  While Blind Jasper baptizes him, a choir sings in the background: ♪ "Since Jesus washed me in his blood, my heart keeps singing, singing, singing, all the time." ♪ Their raft now built from Jasper's supplies, the old preacher sends them on their way: "Today is the first day of the rest of your life.  Nothing can touch you now, under the grace of the Lord.  Accept His blessing.  Let all the wolves of your past be laid to rest."

Zak and Carl are locked inside their room in the nursing home.  Carl, a former engineer, uses pieces of bed sheet to pry open two of the bars on the window.  Handing Zak some liquid soap, he tells the young man to lather himself up and then squeeze through the opening in the bars. (Zak wants to escape to follow his dream of professional wrestling.)  Carl: "Just slip through there and off you go, on your way.  Okay, bud?"  Zak, moved: "Carl, you are my best friend.  And you are my family."  Carl: "Well, that's it.  Friends are the family you choose."  Zak: "And Carl?  You are invited to my birthday party."  Carl beams: "I'm there."  He embraces Zak.


Tyler and Zak have to cross the river, but Zak can't swim.  Tyler has filled several bags with air and tied them together with a rope.  Zak is holding onto the bags while Tyler ties the other end of the long rope around himself.  Tyler begins to swim across the river, Zak trailing behind in his wake.  Tyler keeps swimming, occasionally calling encouragement back to Zak: "Hold on, Zak!"  Things go well until a large shrimp boat draws near.  At this time, Tyler is nearly on the other side of the river, but Zak is only halfway across.  Tyler begins to swim as hard as he can, calling back for Zak to help kick.  The boat is heading straight for them.  At best, it will sever the rope between the two men.  At worst, Zak will be crushed underneath it.  Tyler keeps swimming and encouraging Zak to swim.  Finally, he makes it to the bank and immediately begins pulling the rope in.  Zak has his eyes screwed tightly shut as the ship sounds its horn and Tyler pulls frantically on the rope.  He pulls Zak clear of the ship just in time, then collapses onto the beach to catch his breath.  Zak, helping Tyler to stand: "That is the greatest story to tell!"


Zak is about to compete in his very first wrestling match.  His lifelong dream doesn't look exactly as he had imagined, however.  (The opponents are larger and meaner, and the fights are a whole lot bloodier.)  Zak looks at Tyler: "Tyler, I'm scared."  Tyler: "Don't do that right now.  I know you got this, Zak!  I know you can do this!  Say, 'I got this!'"  Tyler moves to stand in front of Zak and pump him up with encouragement.  Zak, weakly: "I got this."  Tyler: "No, not like you're asking a question!  Like you mean it.  In your heart, you know it!  Say, 'I got this.'"  Zak, louder: "I got this."  Tyler, more loudly: "I got this!"  Zak: "I got this."  Tyler: "Mean it!  Make me believe it."  Zak, standing up, yelling: "I got this!"  Tyler, getting in Zak's face: "Do it again!"  Zak, yelling: "I got this!"  Zak grins, finally believing it.

Tyler and Zak are floating down the river on their raft.  Zak, sensing that Tyler is hurting, puts his arm around his adopted brother.  Zak: "Tyler, I am going to give you all of my wishes for my birthday."  Tyler begins to quietly cry and Zak pulls him in for a hug.  Tyler's mind goes back to a memory of his dead brother.  Back in the present, he is grateful for the friend he has in Zak: "Thank you."  He rests his head on Zak's shoulder for a moment.  Sitting up, Tyler pats Zak on the cheek.  Then Zak pats Tyler on the cheek.  Tyler is soon smiling as, like two puppies, they playfully paw each other.  And so, grief is turned into joy.

Zak and Tyler are lying on the beach, relaxing, when Zak asks Tyler who the two men were who chased them in the boat.  Tyler: "Duncan and Ratboy."  Zak: "They are a good guy or a bad guy?"  Tyler, without hesitating: "Bad guy."  Zak: "Tyler, are you the good guy or a bad guy?"  Tyler, lighting a cigarette: "I don't know.  What you think?"  Zak, emphatically: "You are a good guy."  Tyler smiles at Zak, but the smile fades as a memory enters his mind.  The memory of the worst thing he ever did in his life.  He sees himself and his beloved older brother, playing pool in a bar.  The two laugh and drink for much of the evening.  Later, in the dark, Tyler is driving home with his brother passed out in the passenger seat.  Tired and full of alcohol, Tyler's eyes begin to close.  The car drifts into the wrong lane.  Everything goes black.  (Tyler's brother is killed in the crash, but this is not shown.)
