ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Neal and Del are driving at night on a freeway trying to get home for Thanksgiving.  With Del driving and Neal sleeping, Del accidentally starts driving on the wrong side of the road.   People try to warn them -- "You're going the wrong way!" -- but Del ignores them, mimicking that the people warning them must be drinking: "How do they know where I want to go?"   Unfortunately, they ARE going the wrong way and have a close brush with death as they are sandwiched in-between two eighteen-wheelers! (Caution: profanity used)


It is two days before Thanksgiving and Neal Page is concerned about catching his flight home.  Unfortunately, he is stuck in a meeting.  Sitting impatiently in silence as his boss stares at cosmetics ads, Neal checks his watch.  Catching the eye of a co-worker across the table, Neal whispers his frustration: "I gotta go.  I gotta go."  Co-worker, mouthing in reply: "What?"   Neal, anxiously tapping his plane ticket on the table, whispering: "I've got to catch a plane."  The boss, looking up from his ads, glares at the two of them before rubbing his eyes and returning again to his work.  Finally, it appears as though the boss has made a decision.  Leaning slowly forward, he opens his mouth as if he is about to say something.  Apparently changing his mind, the boss goes back to staring at the ads to the disappointment of all his employees.  Neal, complaining as he walks out of the meeting: "Two solid hours of staring at the material to decide to reconvene after the holidays for a fresh look at the layout?  They're selling cosmetics not curing cancer."

Already running late due to a long meeting, Neal Page is desperately trying to get to the airport before his flight leaves.  Searching around the crowded street, he spots an empty cab.  Across the street from him another man is searching for a taxi as well.  Making eye contact, they both realize they are after the same cab.  Both men begin to run, dodging people and obstacles as they compete for the only vacant taxi around.  Victory almost in his grasp, Neal suddenly trips over a trunk lying in the road just feet away from the cab.  As a car slams on the brakes to avoid hitting him, Neal watches sadly as his competitor gets inside the cab smiling and saluting to him before leaving.

Neal Page, just missing an available taxi (see previous Scene) is desperate to get to the airport.  Approaching a well dressed man about to get inside a taxi: "Sir!  Sir!  Sir, excuse me.  I know this is your cab, but I am desperately late for a plane, and I was wondering if I could appeal to your good nature and ask you to let me have it?"  Man, coldly: "I don't have a good nature."  Turning to get inside the cab, "Excuse me."  Neal, as the impatient taxi driver waits for someone to get inside: "Could I offer you ten dollars for it?  Twenty, I'll give you twenty dollars for it."  Man, devoid of compassion: "I'll take fifty."  Neal, reaching for his money: "Alright, alright."  Man, laughing: "Anyone who'd pay fifty dollars for a cab would certainly pay seventy-five."  Neal, upset: "Not necessarily."  Changing his mind, "Alright, seventy-five.  You're a thief."  Man: "Close.  I'm an attorney."  Neal, insincerely: "Have a happy holiday."  Man: "This will help."  Before Neal can climb into his overpriced cab, it speeds away without him, a new fare sitting in the back seat.

Neal is desperately trying to get home for Thanksgiving.   Unable to land in Chicago due to a snowstorm, Neal's flight is rerouted to Wichita, Kansas.  Del, Neal's obnoxious seat mate and the man who stole his cab (see previous Scene), after seeing Neal call home frustrated: "A little trouble on the home front, huh?"  Neal: "I really don't think that's any of your concern."  Del, determined to share unsolicited advice with Neal: "You know, the finest line a man will walk is between success at work and success at home.  I've got a motto, 'Like your work.  Love your wife.'"

Neal is desperately trying to get home to Chicago for Thanksgiving.  A comedy of events leads to Neal sharing a one-bed hotel room with Del Griffith, his obnoxious airplane seat mate (the same man who stole his cab and whose trunk Neal tripped over).  Disgusted by Del clearing his sinuses, an argument breaks out and Neal loses control: "You spilled beer all over the bed.  You smoke.  You mess up the bathroom."  Del, shocked by Neal's ungrateful attitude: "Well, who let you stay in the room?  I even let you pay for it so you wouldn't feel like an intruder, which you most certainly are!"   Neal, incredulous: "Oh, I'm an intruder?"  Del: "Yes, you're an intruder.  I was having a perfectly nice trip until you walked into my life!"   Neal: "I walked into your life?  Who was that who talked my ear off on the plane?  Who was that, I'm curious."  Del: "Well, who told you to book a room?  I did, out of the goodness of my dumb old heart.  Boy, you're an ungrateful j---a--.  Well, go ahead, sleep in the lobby!  See if I care.  I hope you wake up so stiff you can't even move!"   Neal, disdainfully: "You're no saint!  You got a free cab.  You got a free room...and someone who will listen to your boring stories.  I mean, didn't you notice on the plane when you started talking, eventually, I started reading the vomit bag?  Didn't it give you some sort of clue, like, 'Hey, maybe this guy's not enjoying it?'  You know, everything is not an anecdote.  You have to discriminate.  You choose things that are...that are funny or...or mildly amusing or interesting.  You're a miracle!  Your stories have non of that!  They're not even amusing accidentally."   Now sarcastically pretending to introduce Dell to his wife, "'Honey, I'd like you to meet Del Griffith.  He's got some amusing anecdotes for you.  Oh, and here's a gun so you can blow your brains out.  You'll thank me for it.'"   As Del stands silently, Neal continues with a steady stream of verbal abuse: "I could tolerate any...any insurance seminar.  For days, I could sit there and listen to them go on and on with a big smile on my face.  And they'd say, 'How can you stand it?'  And I'd say, 'Cause I've been with Dell Griffith.  I can take anything.'  And you know what they'd say?  They'd say, 'I know what you mean.  The shower curtain ring guy.  Whoa!'  It's like going on a date with a Chatty Cathy doll.  I expect you to have a little string on your chest, you know, that I pull out and have to snap back.  Except, I wouldn't pull it out and snap it back.  You would!"   In a cruel attempt to demonstrate, Neal pretends to repeatedly pull an imaginary string from his chest while making irritating noises.   Neal, as Del looks at his feet, obviously hurt: "And by the way, you know, when you're telling these little stories, here's a good idea, have a point.  It makes it so much more interesting for the listener."   Del, as Neal stands listening, ashamed of his behavior: "You want to hurt me?  Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better.  I'm an easy target.  Yeah, you're right.  I talk too much.  I also listen too much.  I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you, but I don't like to hurt people's feelings.  Well, you think what you want about me.  I'm not changing.  I like...I like me.  My wife likes me.  My customers like me 'cause I'm the real article.  What you see is what you get."   (Caution: a-word used)

Neal and Del have been traveling in a burned-up and wrecked rental car (in the middle of winter, with no windows and top, the men wrapped to keep warm) ever since one of Del's cigarettes started a fire in the back seat.  Driving along on the highway, Del is suddenly aware of flashing lights behind him.   Neal: "How fast are you going?"   Del: "I can't tell.  The speedometer's melted."   Neal, annoyed: "Pull over."   Del cheerfully, as a policeman walks up to his now stopped car: "Top of the morning, officer!"   Neal: "Hi."  Del, in a friendly tone: "Is there something I can help you with?"   Officer, taking notice of their dilapidated vehicle: "What the h--- are you drivin' here?"   Del, understating the size of the blaze: "We had a small fire last night, but we caught it in the nick of time."   Officer: "Do you have any idea how fast your were going?"   Del, politely: "Well, funnily enough, I was just talking to my friend about that.  Our speedometer's melted, and as a result, it's very hard to say with any degree of accuracy exactly, uh, how fast we were going."   Officer: "Seventy-eight miles an hour."   Del, letting out a surprised whistle: "Seventy-eight, huh?  Well, yeah, I could buy that.  Sure, I guess.  You know, you would know better than us, uh, especially since we've got a melted speedometer."   Officer: "Do you feel this vehicle is safe for highway travel?"   Del, confidently: "Yes, I do.  Yes, I really do.  I...I believe that, and I know it's not pretty to look at, but it will get you where you wanna go."   Officer: "Now, you got no outside mirror..."   Del: "No, we lost that."   Officer: "You have no functioning gauges?"   Del: "No, not a one.  However, the radio still works, funny as that may seem.  With all this mess, the radio is the only thing that's really working good.  And it's clear as a bell.  Don't ask me how."   Officer: "I can't let you go ahead in this vehicle."   Neal, hoping he misheard: "You can't what?"   Officer, confirming Neal's fears: "No, it's not fit for the road.  The vehicle will be impounded until such time as it can be made safe for travel on state highways."   Del: "Okay, Officer, I admit it.  I broke the law, and, for that, I'm really sorry.  I am.  It will never happen again.  I...you got me there, and I won't argue with you one iota, I swear," as he motions for the officer to come closer, "however, um, if you impound our car, I'm going to be unable to get my friend here home in time for his Thanksgiving dinner."   The officer is clearly unmoved by their plea for mercy as the next scene shows the car being towed away to the impound lot.   (Caution: h-word used)

Having left Del at the train station, Neal only has one short bus ride until he is finally home.  Sitting on the bus reflecting on his time with Del, Neal suddenly realizes that his friend's story doesn't seem to add up -- that he's also going home for Thanksgiving with his wife.  Wanting to confirm his suspicions, Neal heads back to the train station, and sure enough, Del is still sitting there looking sad and alone.   Neal: "Del, what are you doing here?  You said you were going home, what are you doing here?"   Del, finally being honest: "I, uh, don't have a home.  Marie's been dead for eight years."   Neal shares in his new friend's sadness without saying a word.  The next scene shows the two men carrying Del's giant trunk as they make their way together to Neal's house for Thanksgiving.
