ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Chris is walking to yet another hopeless sales pitch when he sees a beautiful red sports car pull up at the curb.  He approaches the driver, a smiling man in a sharp suit: "Man, I got two questions for you:  What do you do?  And how do you do it?"  The man laughs, telling Chris he's a stockbroker.  He points up to the impressive Wall Street building standing before them.  With a final farewell, the man turns to go to work.  Chris takes a few moments to look around.  He looks at the columned building with people in business suits streaming in and out.  He looks again at the sports car.  He eyes the people around him. Everyone seems to be well-dressed and smiling.  Chris, thinking to himself: "I still remember that moment.  They all looked so d--n happy to me.  Why couldn't I look like that?"  (Caution: d-word used)

Chris sits in his son's bedroom, holding onto one of his little boy's shoes.  (Linda, his wife, tired of their continual money struggles, has taken their son and left.)  The next day, Chris confronts Linda on the street outside her work, telling her never to take his son from him again.  Linda, angry, tries to walk away from him, but Chris keeps following: "Do you want to leave?"  Linda: "Yeah!"  Chris: "You wanna leave?"  Linda, yelling: "Yes!  I want to leave!"  Chris, hurt: "Get the h--l out of here, then, Linda.  Get the h--l out of here.  Christopher's staying with me."  Linda begins blaming Chris for the problems in their marriage.  Linda: "I am not happy anymore.  I'm just not happy!"  Chris: "Then go get happy, Linda!  Just go get happy.  But Christopher's living with me!"  (Caution: h-word used twice)

Chris arrives at his long-coveted interview at a prestigious brokerage dressed in paint-splattered jeans and an undershirt.  Entering the conference room, he feels the stares of the four executives eyeing his attire.  Swallowing his embarrassment, he shakes each of their hands in turn.  The atmosphere is palpably uncomfortable.  Chris: "I've been sitting out there for the last half hour trying to come up with a story that would explain my being here dressed like this.  And I wanted to come up with a story that would demonstrate qualities that I'm sure you all admire here, like earnestness or diligence.  Team-playing, something.  And I couldn't think of anything."  Instead, Chris has decided to tell the men the truth.  He was arrested and jailed overnight for failure to pay parking tickets.  Having been in the midst of painting his apartment, he had had no time to run home and change before being released from jail.  Martin: "Jay says you're pretty determined."  Jay agrees, telling the others that Chris has been waiting outside the building for a month for an opportunity to apply.  Chris affirms his desire to learn the business, but he can see that the men are put off by his appearance and lack of education.  Knowing he may have only one more shot to prove himself, Chris tells them that if he ever encounters any question he doesn't know the answer to, he will pursue the answer until he finds it.  Martin, still unsure: "Chris.  What would you say if a guy walked in for an interview without a shirt on...and I hired him?  What would you say?"  Chris: "He must've had on some really nice pants."

Chris and his son Christopher are playing basketball.  Christopher excitedly dribbles toward the basket and makes a shot: "Hey, Dad!  I'm goin' pro!"  Chris laughs, but begins to worry his son has unrealistic dreams.  He starts to try to talk Christopher out of his dream: "You know, uh, you'll probably be about as good as I was.  That's kind of the way it works, you know.  I was below average.  You'll excel at a lot of things.  Just not this.  So, I don't want you out here shooting this ball all day and night.  All right?"  Christopher, crest-fallen: "All right."  Chris tells his son to continue the game, but the joy has gone for the boy.  He tosses the ball against the fence and begins to pack up his things.  Chris, seeing what he has done to his little boy, is immediately filled with remorse.  Chris: "Don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do something.  Not even me.  You got a dream, you gotta protect it.  People can't do something themselves, they want to tell you you can't do it.  You want something, go get it.  Period."

Chris is talking to Martin when he suddenly spots the man who stole his scanner.  Apologizing to Martin, Chris runs off after the man, seeing he has the machine with him.  Chris sprints after the man, following him down several city streets.  His eyes on his scanner, Chris runs across a street, straight into the path of an oncoming car.  The car hits him and Chris slams into the windshield, cracking it badly.  Chris rolls off the hood and onto the street.  Shakily, he stands up, in pain and missing a shoe.

The pastor at the Glide homeless shelter is preaching to his congregation.  Chris and Christopher are seated in the crowd, residents of the shelter.  Pastor: "We all have to deal with mountains.  We know what those mountains are here at Glide.  We sing about them."  The choir begins to sing, soulfully: ♪ "Lord, don't move that mountain.  Give me strength to climb it.  Please don't move that stumbling block.  But lead me, Lord, around it.  My burdens, they get so heavy.  Seems hard to bear.  But I won't give up.  No, no.  'Cause You promised me, You'd keep me at the altar of prayer." ♪ Many in the audience have tears streaming down their faces.  Some have their hands lifted in prayer and praise.  Others look as if they are in the midst of climbing their own mountains.  Chris picks up his son, holding him tight, and sways to the music.
