ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Blu (a pampered blue macaw who lives in a bookstore) has just received his daily hot chocolate with marshmallows.  Perched in front of the bookstore window, he sniffs it delightedly and begins to drink.  Suddenly, a snowball hits the window next to his head.  Blu looks out at the snowy street and sees two geese laughing at him.  Goose: "Well, well, if it isn't my favorite nerd bird."  Blu: "Very funny.  Real mature."  Goose: "Hey, pet!  Where you migrating to this year?  The breakfast nook?"  The geese resume their mocking laughter and throw another snowball.  Blu returns to his snack, completely content with his unique lifestyle.

Dr. Tulio Monteiro has travelled across the world to find the last male blue macaw.  The bird, Blu, has lived almost his entire life as a pampered pet and has no memories of life in the wild.  Dr. Monteiro approaches Blu, imitating the sounds and movements of a macaw.  Blu, who has never seen another macaw, backs away from the doctor in fear.  Blu, talking to his owner: "Linda, a little help here.  Linda!"  The Dr. (who can't understand what Blu is saying) continues excitedly chirping and squawking and flapping at Blu.  Blu continues chirping and squawking at him (in confusion) and the two appear to be communicating with each other.  Dr. Monteiro explains his behavior to Blu's owner: "I introduced myself and shook my tail feathers counter-clockwise, thus deferring to his dominance."  Blu, surprised: "I did not get that at all."

Blu and Jewel are in a huge cage, the last two birds of their kind.  Blu, who has spent 15 years as a pet, doesn't mind his captivity and is just waiting for his owner to return and get him.  Jewel, who has spent her life in the wild, is enraged at her situation and is trying to escape.  Jewel is disgusted that Blu has such a love for humans:  "Because of them, I've lost everything.  You can't trust them!"  Blu, who has known nothing but love and care from humans: "Of course you can trust humans."  A man walks up to him.  Blu looks up, a friendly smile on his face: "Hi there."  The man puts a bag over the unsuspecting bird and steals him from the lab.

Nigel, an ugly, mean cockatoo, enjoys torturing other birds.  While guarding cages full of stolen birds, Nigel delights in scaring them.  He begins singing a song, describing how he changed from a successful star to the evil bird he is today: ♪ "I was striking, suave, ambitious...now I'm vile, I am villainous, and vicious.  I had it all - - a TV show, women too.  Then they got a pretty parakeet to fill my shoes.  That's why I am so evil, why I do what I do." ♪ Nigel is proud to call himself evil, a murderer.  He believes he's invincible and his one goal in life is to make all other birds as ugly as he is.

Blu and Jewel are in the jungle when they encounter two cute baby toucans.  The babies jump into their arms, snuggling in close.  Suddenly, the baby Blu holds begins biting out his feathers.  Blu runs around, screaming in pain.  A third baby bird jumps on Jewel's head, pulling on her eyelids.  Both birds are now running in frantic circles, birds pulling and biting on them.  When they fall to the ground, they find themselves swarmed by a whole mob of the babies.  A male toucan pops his head out of a nearby tree: "What's going on down there?"  The babies move to swarm over him, crying: "Daddy!"  They jump up and down, each one demanding his attention.  Jewel, sarcastically: "Precious, aren't they?"  Toucan, smiling: "Seventeen of them and one on the way."  He calls up to two birds in the tree, who are shaking an egg: "Hey!  He's not a maraca!  Stop shaking him!"  Giggling, the birds put down their sibling.  Toucan, sighing: "They're giving me gray feathers.  Oh, this papa needs a break."

Rafael is trying to teach Blu how to fly.  Unfortunately, Blu is chained to Jewel, and they must figure out a way to fly together.  Rafael tells them to stand close and wrap a wing around each other.  His idea is to treat them as one bird, having Jewel act as the left wing and Blu act as the right wing.  Blu has legitimate hesitations about the plan: "But this doesn't seem aerodynamically possible."  Rafael: "Ay, ay, ay...you think too much.  Flying is not what you think up here (pointing to Blu's head).  It's what you feel in here (putting his wing on Blu's heart).  And when you feel the rhythm of your heart, it's like samba.  You fly!"

Blu likes Jewel, but he has no experience in dating.  He tries to sneak his wing around her back, but chickens out when she notices, pretending to be looking at his underarm sweat.  His friends watch his failed attempt and determine to help him.  They sing soft love songs and spray flower petals in the air as the two birds watch the sunset.  Rafael whispers advice to Blu: "Tell her, 'You have beautiful eyes.'"  Blu leans in toward Jewel, bugging his eyes out for her perusal: "I have beautiful eyes."  Jewel, confused, agrees kindly.  Rafael whispers for Blu to compliment Jewel instead.  Blu complies awkwardly: "Right, yeah.  Your eyes.  Your eyes are great.  Not mine.  I mean, you know, mine are okay.  But yours...I bet you can see right through them."  Jewel, embarrassed, looks away.  Rafael, whispering: "Just tell her how you feel!"  Blu begins to bare his heart, but sucks a flower petal into his throat and begins choking.  The romantic aura is dispelled as Jewel performs the Heimlich maneuver on the gasping Blu.  Rafael: "Yep, that's my boy."

Blu and Jewel have been kidnapped by a group of bird smugglers.  They are in the back of a cargo plane and have successfully opened the door.  Jewel prepares to escape, but Blu reminds her that he can't fly.  Jewel, abandoning her plans to leave: "That's okay.  We'll figure this out together."  Suddenly, the evil Nigel enters and attacks the birds, breaking Jewel's wing.  Now neither of them can fly.  Blu is able to defeat Nigel, but the plane takes a dive and Jewel falls out the back.  As he watches his love drop helplessly toward the ocean, Blu gathers his courage and dives after her.  He grabs her in mid-air and the two birds fall together, wrapped in each others' wings.  Jewel: "Blu!  You're crazy!  What are you doing?"  Blu: "I'm not going to let you go.  We're chained-to-each-other birds, remember?"  Jewel kisses him and Blu hears the sound of his own heart beating.  His wings expand of their own accord and he begins flying, carrying Jewel along with him.
