ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Nick and Bobby, two detectives with the Boston police, are in the locker room together.  Bobby, glancing around to make sure no one is listening, furtively asks Nick where he buried his share of the gold they stole from their last raid.  After telling Bobby that he buried it, Nick stops for a few moments, thinking.  Nick, coming to a decision: "Listen, Bobby, I'm out."  Bobby, looking incredulous: "You're out?"  An officer walks by, so Nick pulls Bobby aside, telling him that he has decided to return the gold to evidence.  Bobby, thinking Nick is merely afraid of getting caught, assures him that he can sell the gold easily.  Nick: "That's not what I'm talking about, Bobby."  Nick tells Bobby he can't face his wife, knowing what he has done.  Bobby tries to rationalize their sin as something less: "Look, we went in there to make a drug bust, which we did.  We didn't expect this gold to fall into our laps.  We weren't lookin' for it, but it happened."  Bobby tells Nick that he should take the gold to make a better future for his wife.  Nick refuses.  Bobby sighs heavily, leaning back against his locker: "You're right.  I hate it when you're right.  We gotta turn the whole thing in.  There goes the speedboat."  Bobby admits that he has been bothered by guilt as well.  Bobby, smiling at his friend: "So, let's grow old and poor together."

Bobby and Nick are in the middle of a drug bust when Bobby suddenly surprises his partner by pointing his gun at him.  Bobby shoots Nick, who falls several stories to the floor below, landing on his head.  Nick's eyes are closed, and he hears the voice of his wife.  Opening his eyes, he stands up and looks around.  For him, the world has stopped.  He is still in the same place he was when he died, but it's as if he's in another dimension, trapped inside the moment of his death.  He walks slowly through the building, seeing his fellow officers frozen in mid-action.  Explosions which had been occurring all over the building are suspended, their bright flames floating, but immobile.  Nick slowly moves outside, where a similar scene awaits him.  He looks up at a bird, turned to stone in mid-flight.  Nick looks out over the city, where nothing and no one is moving, except for himself.  Hearing a rushing noise, he looks up.  A swirling vortex has appeared in the clouds above him, forming a sort of tunnel into the sky.  Nick begins to float quickly upwards.  Once inside the tunnel, Nick sees that there are many tunnels, all over the earth.  Human souls like his own are carried along in the current from these tunnels, all converging on a blue light high above.  The light reflects on Nick's face, showing lines of worry and fear as he approaches the unknown.

Nick has just died (see Scene # CV06823) and has now appeared in an office with a woman seated behind a desk.  The office is all in white and soft elevator music plays in the background.  Nick is seated in a chair across the desk from the woman, who looks at him disinterestedly.  The nameplate on her desk reads: Proctor.  Proctor, somewhat apathetically: "Tough day.  It's normal to be a little tongue-tied at first.  I want you to know that I'm here to help you."  Nick, stunned, looks around, spying a window through which an endless row of similar offices can be seen.  Proctor: "Take your time.  Ease into it."  Nick, utterly confused: "Ease into what?"  Proctor, sarcastically: "Come on, genius.  I know you can get there."  Nick: "I'm dead?"  The Proctor admits that the lifestyle of a dirty cop doesn't tend toward longevity.  Nick denies being a dirty cop.  Proctor: "Really?  How did it feel as you were headed toward Judgment?  Comfortable?  Feel like you were bound for glory?  Or were you a little worried that you were going down?"  Nick shifts uncomfortably in his chair.  Proctor, taking that as an admission of guilt: "I thought so."   Pulling handcuffs and a gun out of her desk, the Proctor offers Nick a chance to redeem his soul from Judgment.  If he will become an officer in the Rest in Peace Department, serving a hundred-year term, he can avoid probable punishment for his sins.  When he hears he will return to his hometown, Nick quickly agrees.  The Proctor, knowing Nick's motivation is less one of redemption and more a hope of getting his old life back, warns him that she can see his heart.  She holds up a thick file with Nick's name engraved on the front: "I know everything there is to know about you.  Don't squander this opportunity, Nick.  I know for a fact you can use a good recommendation on Judgment Day."

Nick stands on a grassy hill, watching his own funeral below.  He sees his fellow officers ceremoniously fold a flag and hand it to his widow.  A framed photo of Nick is displayed inside a wreath next to the coffin.  Roy, from behind Nick: "Disappointing turnout, huh?  Expected more?"  Roy tells Nick to take a few moments and soak in the experience, hoping the sense of closure will help the dead man to let go.  Nick sees his wife silently accept the folded flag.  Roy, oblivious to Nick's pain: "Do you know what my funeral was?  Watchin' a bunch of coyotes pick my carcass clean and drag my bones off into a cave."  Nick, ignoring Roy's interruption, can no longer watch his wife suffer.  He runs down the hill into the crowd below.  Pushing officers aside, he reaches Julia, who looks at him without recognition: "I'm sorry, I don't know you."  She tries to turn away, pushing Nick's hand off her arm, obviously frightened by his behavior.  Several officers angrily pull him away, allowing the grieving widow to leave the gravesite.

Nick and Roy have captured Bobby, an escaped dead soul, who is hiding on earth to avoid judgment.  Bobby, outraged, explains why he chose to run: "Get killed by some junkie and go to hell because I took a little on the side to pay for lap dances?  No.  I don't think so.  Who gets to make that call?"  Bobby shakes his head, refusing to submit to eternal damnation: "I don't accept it."  Nick: "Hey, let me ask you something.  What do you think eternal punishment is gonna be like, Hayes?"  Bobby, confidently: "Hell can kiss my a-s.  I'm stayin' right here."  (Caution: a-word used)
