ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A narrator tells part of the story of Job, focusing on chapter 39: "More than three thousand years ago, a man named Job complained to God about all his troubles.  And the Bible tells us that God answered.  'Do you give the horse his strength, or clothe his neck with a flowing mane?  Do you make him leap like a locust, striking terror with his proud snorting?'"  As the narrator speaks, continuing to read from chapter 39, images of horses are seen...powerful, majestic, beautiful, and strong.

Penny is visiting her father's horse farm after her mother's recent death.  She is helping her aging father to wind up some financial concerns and has discovered that the horse trainer, Mr. Jansen, has been swindling her parents.  She asks to speak with him, politely at first, but as he becomes more and more rude, she becomes firmer.  Penny tells the man she did her research and found out that he was selling horses at half their worth to a rival farm, which would then pay him a commission.  First trying to blame Penny's parents for the farm's financial difficulties, he then becomes defensive, and, finally, angry when Penny outright accuses him of disloyalty and fraud.  Penny doesn't back down in the face of his threats, but instead fires him instantly.

Penny, John, Lucien, and Eddie are sitting quietly in the barn, watching the birth of a colt.  John excitedly holds his mother's hand as they wait anxiously.  The horse is lying on her side in the hay and several men are assisting her.  Finally, the colt is born and the four observers sit with wide smiles on their faces as the new colt stands up and immediately starts walking.  Amazed that the baby is mobile so soon, they watch, laughing, as the colt staggers through the hay next to its mother.

Penny had hoped to interview Ronnie for the position of jockey to her horse, Secretariat.  Disappointed, she watches him limp toward the cafe where she waits, using crutches and sporting casts on wrists and ankles.  When Ronnie finally sits down at her table, she expresses her disappointment that he wouldn't be able to ride in their next race.  Ronnie, looking surprised: "I'll be ready.  Why wouldn't I be?"  Now it's Penny's turn to look surprised.  She tells Ronnie everything she's heard of him from his other employers...that he's one of the best, but also that he can be overly aggressive.   Ronnie, slightly defensive regarding his perceived faults: "Then why'd you come to me?"  Penny: "I heard you have the heart of a champion.  I know my horse does."  Penny still has a few concerns, though: "I read here that the last horse you rode ran so hard his heart burst?"  Ronnie, somewhat angrily: "Miss Chenery, I risk my life every time I climb on a horse.  I'm not afraid.  Neither are they.  I want to win, just like they do.  It's true.  The last horse I rode ran so hard his heart burst.  But it's who they are.  And it's who I am.  You want somebody else, get somebody else."  He stands up to go, but Penny stops him: "I want you."

Penny is seated next to her father's bedside.  Having had a severe stroke, Chris is unconscious and dying.  Penny holds his hand, talking softly to him: "I don't think there's much left unsaid between us, Daddy.  I always knew where you stood.  And I'm grateful...so grateful for the way you showed me what it was to stand up in the world, live the way you believe."  Penny tells her father of the success of his horse farm and her hopes that he will be there to share it with her.  Her voice breaks as she turns to look at the flat line on his heart monitor.

Penny's husband, Jack, and her brother, Hollis, have teamed up to convince her of the need to sell her father's racehorse, Secretariat.  Their father having just died, the siblings find themselves faced with an inheritance tax of six million dollars for the horse farm they have inherited.  Because they don't have the money to pay the tax, Jack and Hollis believe the only option is to sell Secretariat.  Penny believes that keeping Secretariat (and their father's dreams) is worth the risk: "Our father came from nothing.  And his legacy to me isn't money.  It's the will to win, if you can.  And live with it if you can't!"  Hollis threatens to sue his own sister, but Penny informs him that their father legally left her the right to the horses.  Penny tells Hollis that she is determined to find a way to raise the money, but Hollis is worried that they will lose their entire inheritance.  Hollis: "Our father was a great man, but we can't bring him back."  Penny: "This isn't about going back.  This is about life being ahead of you, and you run at it.  Because you never know how far you can go unless you run."

Penny is discouraged that her attempts to save her father's horse farm and his racehorse, Secretariat, have so far been to no avail.  Hoping to find some sort of consolation, she goes to the barn to visit the horse.  Eddie, Secretariat's caretaker, greets her respectfully.  He asks her if she heard about the death of her father's great friend, Bull.  Penny, surprised and grieved, hadn't.  Eddie: "Well, after your daddy's funeral, they say he went home and just fell dead.  I don't know about the ways of God, ma'am.  But, I know your daddy and Mr. Bull lifted each other up.  The way you lift me up and the way you lift up Red.  Everything living lives from its heart, and I wish I could give you something to lift yours up."  Penny, moved: "Well, thank you, Eddie.  You just did."

Penny has retreated to the barn to be by herself after a disappointing day.  Having been rejected by every potential investor she could think of, Penny is now faced with the very real possibility of losing her horse farm.  Her partners and friends, Seth and Miss Ham, enter the barn to see if she's okay.  Penny: "I don't care how many times they say no.  I don't care how many times they tell us we can't do it!  I am not giving up!  I will not live the rest of my life in regret.  We are gonna see that horse run, and win!  And we are going to live rejoicing.  Every day."  Miss Ham, smiling: "Amen."

Penny and Pancho, the two owners of the top two horses entered in the Kentucky Derby, are attending the press conference held before the race.  Reporter: "Pancho, is it really true you're predicting Sham's victory?"  Pancho: "You've all seen his workouts.  He's never looked better."  Penny is asked about her horse's weakness at his last race, and Penny candidly admits she is concerned.  When the reporters ask Pancho about his opinion of Secretariat's unusual defeat, Pancho looks smug: "'Didn't appear to be himself?'  Is that journalism-ese for getting your butt whipped?  Horseracing is unforgiving for trainers, horses, and, uh, housewives (a dig directly at Penny)."  He tells the reporters that Secretariat's people have nothing to give but excuses.  He promises that his horse will beat Secretariat.  Penny declines to comment on Pancho's boast.  However, when asked about the pressure she's getting from her investors, Penny replies: "Well, it's like every other all-or-nothing, multi-million-dollar gamble we housewives make every day."  The press laughs and Pancho wants to gain back some ground: "Mrs. Tweedy didn't hear me, so I'm going to make it very clear.  Secretariat is going down!  I guarantee it."  Penny feels goaded into a reply and makes a joking reference to Pancho's bragging that has the press laughing and Pancho looking angry.

Only five horses have been entered into the Belmont, the longest race of the Kentucky Derby.  From the beginning of the race, it is clear that there are only two real contenders...Sham and Secretariat.  The two are struggling, neck-and-neck, Sham forcing Secretariat into an early speed that he isn't used to.  From the stands, onlookers (including Secretariat's owner and trainer) can't believe that Secretariat could physically last at the speed he is going.  The two horses, panting heavily, continue to race side-by-side, the other three horses far behind.  Suddenly, Secretariat pulls forward, leaving Sham far behind him.  The length between the two horses continues to grow and grow and the announcer counts aloud the growing distance between them.  The audience becomes silent, knowing they are witnessing history.  No horse has ever run this fast before.  A narrator reads about the strength of the horse from Job chapter 39 as Secretariat enters the last stretch of the race, no other horse visible behind him.  Gospel music begins playing in the background as people resume their cheering and Secretariat crosses the finish line to win in record time.
