ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Johnny is leaning against a building, singing.  Really getting into the melody, Johnny is focused only on the music and the sound of his own voice.  Suddenly, the static of a police radio gets his attention.  Two patrol officers are rounding the corner where Johnny is standing lookout for his dad's gang of thieves.  Quickly, Johnny gets on the walkie talkie, warning his dad not to come outside.  But the warning comes too late, and the thieves are already leaving with their loot.  The officers spot them and begin to pursue the gorillas.  They hop in their getaway vehicle and speed down the street, Johnny running behind.  As Johnny's dad pulls him into the car, he yells: "Johnny!  You were supposed to be keeping a lookout!"  Johnny, looking chagrined: "Sorry, Dad."  Dad: "And where's your mask?"  Startled, Johnny realizes he had been so distracted that he had never put on his bunny disguise.

Rosita is helping her 25 piglets get ready for bed while attempting to arrange for a sitter to care for them for a few weeks.  As the pajama-clad tots file past her, she simultaneously supervises their bedtime routine while interviewing a nanny over the phone.  To Rosita's chagrin, the sheer number of children proves to be a sticking point for the prospective nanny.  Unable to secure a sitter, she hopes to enlist her husband's help.  That evening, Norman arrives home, suit crumpled and shoulders sagging.  Rosita greets him with a bright smile: "Hey, how was the big meeting?"  Norman groans in response, handing Rosita his briefcase to put away.  Rosita, trying to tell Norman about her upcoming audition: "I have something really exciting to tell you..." Norman grabs a plate and heads to the den without even looking at his wife.  Rosita continues: "I know it's short notice, but I could really use some help with the kids tomorrow..."  Rosita, bursting with her news, enters the den, only to find Norman already snoring in front of the television.  At first disappointed, Rosita suddenly remembers the words of her producer: "Dream big dreams!"  Inspired, she works all night constructing a machine that will complete all her tasks for her.  The following morning, an alarm goes off, waking the piglets and starting the mechanism of the machine.  Working like a factory assembly line, the machine feeds the family, washes the dishes, and supervises the kids getting ready for school.  The entire operation is peppered with pre-recorded voice messages from Rosita.  "I want you all dressed before breakfast."  "Don't forget, your keys are in your coat pocket."  "Time for school!"  The machine works so smoothly that no one, including Norman, notices that Rosita is gone.

Mike, certain he is going to win the singing contest, is at the bank, applying for a credit card.  Sitting across the desk from a loan specialist, Mike smiles: "Yes, indeed, I am about to come into a very, very large sum of money.  $100,000, to be precise."  Loan officer, with a greedy gleam in his eye: "In that case, sir, you'll be wanting our platinum card."  Mike gasps with joy as the officer pushes a silver card across the desk.  Later, Mike pulls up outside an exclusive night club, driving a brand-new sports car purchased with his platinum card.  A beautiful mouse wearing a sparkly gown is about to enter the club, but when she sees Mike's impressive car, she stops, allowing him to escort her instead.  Even the bouncer lifts his sunglasses to better ogle the red roadster.  Mike, strutting to a rap tune, offers his arm to the lady and walks down the red carpet, sure of his admittance.  Without a word, the bouncer (who had previously refused to allow Mike in the club) gestures for him to enter.

Buster and Eddie are playing video games in Eddie's parents' pool house.  Sitting on inflatable couches, the two munch chips and guzzle soda.  A half-eaten pizza sits on the floor of the room Eddie's parents have converted for his use.  Signs of Eddie's cushy life as the son of millionaires are everywhere...the surfboard leaning against the wall, the expensive stereo system on the coffee table, the various sports paraphernalia adorning the area, and the inground pool lit in the background.  While racing his car, Buster questions Eddie's recent move out of his parents' house: "So, what, you live in the pool house now?"  Eddie, sounding like an airhead: "Yeah, my folks want me to be more, you know, independent, I guess.  They even hooked me up with this life coach dude.  I guess he's gonna help me find my purpose in life.  I thought I had one, but, it turns out it wasn't the right one, or something.  I don't know.  Anyway, he's got me on this whole schedule thing.  It's like, Mondays, take out the recycling.  Tuesdays, mow the lawn.  Wednesdays, go visit Nana.  Thursdays, clean the pool.  It's like, don't we have people to do all this stuff?"

Buster is trying to fend of the angry bears when the glass floor beneath him suddenly begins to crack.  Everyone in the theater stops to stare as the cracks spread all across the enormous fish tank until geysers of water begin to shoot out through the glass.  Finally, the tank explodes in a gush of water, flooding the theater and carrying Buster and his friends along in its destructive wake.  Pipes burst, walls crumble, ceilings fall, and windows implode as Buster hurriedly runs to the second story.  He leans on the windowsill, as if trying to hold the crumbling structure together himself: "Steady, girl, steady."  But the floodwaters continue to do their damage, cracking marble pillars in half and washing the contents of the theater out into the street.  Buster runs outside just in time to see his beloved theater crash to the ground.  When the dust clears, the horrified Buster runs to the pile of rubble and sinks to his knees.  He begins to sob.

Buster sits, morosely eating cereal while watching a news broadcast covering the destruction of his theater (see scene # CV09247).  Buster doesn't need the reporter to tell him he is responsible for the wreckage.  He already feels the burden of failure resting on his back.  When his former cast members show up to encourage him to rebuild the show, Buster tries to shoo them away: "Guys, I'm done."  He holds up the newspaper with his own picture on the front page: "Didn't you see this?  Look, it says I'm a 'danger to society.  A deluded, washed-up charlatan who never had a hit in his career.'"  Rosita: "Oh, come on, you don't believe all that?"  Buster, his head hanging: "Yeah, I do."  Buster closes the door on his friends, returning to bed.  Before he can go to sleep, however, Meena enters, holding a cake: "I know you're sad right now and probably afraid to try again- -"  Buster interrupts, angrily kicking the newspaper: "Yeah, I am afraid.  I'm afraid that this, this me, right now, this is who I am.  This is my lot for life.  That I'm not the guy that my dad wanted me to be.  Not by a million miles!"  Meena: "But, you told me, 'Don't let fear stop you from doing the thing you love.'"  Buster scoffs at his own words, deeming them ridiculous: "That's just a bunch of stupid, corny...you really believe that you're gonna be a singer?"  Meena: "Well, yeah, maybe."  Buster: "Well, then you're just as big a fool as I am!  You and me, we're both afraid for good reason.  'Cause deep down, we know.  We just don't have what it takes."

Eddie parks at the street corner, where Buster has set up a sign reading, "Moon Car Wash."  He delivers his friend the requested bathing suit, wondering why he needs it.  As a driver pulls up in a dusty car, Eddie asks: "What are you doing?"  Buster, stripping down to the bathing suit: "The only other job I know."  (Buster's theater business has failed, leaving him destitute...see scene # CV09248.)  With the impatient customer honking his horn, Buster dons a pair of goggles, sighing: "I'm just glad my dad isn't here to see this."  Lifting his chin determinedly, Buster says goodbye to Eddie: "Well, I gotta go to work."  Swallowing his pride, the koala lathers his fur with soap and climbs onto the car.  Moving his legs and arms like a swimming stroke, Buster uses his furry self as a loofah to clean the car.  Buster, sorry he has sunk so low in life, is still determined to make his own way.  And, as an operatic aria swells in the background, he finds the hard work healing to his wounded pride.  Eddie, at first stunned to see his friend fall so far, grabs a bathing suit and joins him in his work, using his own wool to dry while Buster washes.  Eddie: "You know the good thing about hitting rock bottom?  There's only one way left to go.  And that's up."
