ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A man in a black robe eats an apple, watching a scene unfold before his eyes.  Eleazer approaches young Jesus, a spiteful look on his face.  When the boy taunts Jesus, Jesus ignores him.  This only enrages Eleazer, who pushes Jesus to the ground and begins to hit Him.  The man in black watches, engrossed.  A girl begins to beat Eleazer with a stick, hoping to stop him from attacking Jesus.  Eleazer stands, a look of fury on his face.  He turns to the girl and begins chasing her across the courtyard.  Jesus stands, crying: "Stop!  Don't touch her."  Eleazer stops and stares at Jesus for a moment.  He turns back to the girl, a look of almost bestial brutality in his eyes.  The man in black deliberately tosses his apple to the ground.  Eleazer begins running toward the girl, slips on the apple and slams his head into a rock.  He lies on the ground, dead.  The man in black steps closer.  A crowd gathers around Eleazer.  A boy cries out: "Eleazer's dead!"  The man in black hovers behind the boy's shoulder, whispering: "Over there.  He did it."  The boy turns to accuse Jesus: "You!  You killed him."  Jesus points at the man in black: "That man told you to say that!"  In an instant, the man is several yards away from the boy.  The boy turns to look, seeing no one: "What man?"  Jesus: "The apple!  Eleazer tripped on the apple."  The boy looks to the ground, but nothing is there.  Boy: "You killed him.  We all saw it."  He begins to lead a group of angry people toward Jesus: "He did it.  He killed him."  A small smile rests on the lips of the man in black.

Jesus enters the house of Eleazer, walking past the women mourning the boy's death.  He enters the bedroom where the body of Eleazer rests, stretched out on a bed.  Sitting on the bed, Jesus takes the boy's face in His hands: "Wake up.  Wake up now."  Suddenly, the doctor enters the room, yelling at Jesus to leave.  He stops when Eleazer's eyes pop open.  The boy sees Jesus and strikes Him, yelling: "Son of David!  Son of David!"  As if possessed, the boy begins kicking Jesus until Joseph pulls him away.  The boy's father, convinced that only Satan could do what Jesus has done, tells Joseph to take his family and move back to Galilee.

Young Jesus, walking behind, sees that his family has stopped on the crest of a hill.  They are staring at something out of Jesus's sight and it is obviously distressing.  Jesus comes to look and sees their path is lined on both sides by crosses, as far as the eye can see.  Roman soldiers are in the process of executing dozens of men.  The road to Nazareth cuts through the midst of the executions and Jesus and his family will have to pass in the middle of the dead and the dying.  Slowly, the family continues their journey along the road.  Mary quotes Psalm 23 to comfort them all, ending with: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for Thou art with me.  Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.  Thou annointeth my head with oil.  My cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.  And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Jesus and his family are sitting around Old Sarah's table, enjoying a meal.  When Jesus asks Old Sarah where the rest of the Nazarenes are, Sarah tells the boy they are in hiding, hoping to escape the persecution of the Romans.  Sarah: "Let us pray they (the Romans) don't come back."  James doesn't see any escape from the oppressive regime: "They're Romans.  They're everywhere.  How can we pray they don't come back?"  Old Sarah, full of hope and confidence: "Because a Messiah is born who will save us.  His star has been seen.  He lives!  He will deliver us!"

Joseph finds Jesus praying alone.  Sitting down with Him, he asks if Jesus misses their old home in Egypt.  Jesus replies that He doesn't, knowing they are safer here where no one knows Him.  Joseph again warns Jesus to keep His identity secret.  Joseph: "I know You have many questions.  But You need to let them sleep in Your heart for now."  Jesus, innocently: "Why?"  Joseph: "Because Your questions are the questions of a child.  But the answers...are the answers for a man."  Jesus is silent and Joseph continues: "That is one bridge I cannot build.  I don't know how.  But God can, and we must trust Him."  Jesus, earnestly: "I do!  I trust Him for everything."  Joseph and Jesus smile at each other.

Joseph has brought Jesus to the rabbi, wanting to begin His education.  The old rabbi begins to question Jesus to see the extent of His knowledge of God's Word.  Rabbi: "Why did the Phoenicians cut the hair of Samson?"  Jesus: "Forgive Me, Rabbi, but it was not the Phoenicians.  It was the Phillistines.  And they cut his hair to make him weak."  Question after question, Jesus answers correctly, even why the rabbi tries to trip Him up with a trick question.  Soon, it is Jesus who is teaching him, answering his questions so profoundly and with such wisdom that the rabbi is struck by His perspective.  The elders standing around watching the scene nod and smile their approval at Jesus's words.  Jesus becomes so eloquent and impassioned that, finally, the rabbi stops Him with a chuckle: "This is a good child.  I like this child."

The demon stands over Jesus's sickbed, taunting Him.  Suddenly, the worry on Jesus's face disappears as He looks into Satan's eyes: "You don't know the answers.  You don't know what's going to happen, do you?  You don't know how it's going to end."  Satan, angry: "Who are You?  I demand You tell me!"  But, as he reaches out a claw to strangle Jesus, one word from Him is enough to freeze his motion: "Don't touch Me!"  Reluctantly, Satan pulls his hand back.  (During this whole conversation, Mary is kneeling by Jesus's bed, praying.  She is unaware of the demon's presence.)  Satan switches tactics, choosing now to hurt Jesus by showing Him the devastation of Jerusalem.  Taking Him in spirit to a cliff overlooking the city, Satan shows Jesus a vista filled with flames.  Jesus looks out over the destruction and is pained by the cries He hears.  He kneels to the ground and begins to pray.  Satan, mockingly: "Is that it?  Is that all You can do?"  Jesus continues to pray, His eyes squeezed tightly shut, while Satan stands behind Him, taunting and tormenting and lying.  Suddenly, they are back in Jesus's room and Satan leans in close: "Your cause is lost.  Every day and every hour, it's lost.  And You know it.  Your little miracles can't save these foolish people.  I tell You, chaos rules!  And I am its prince!"  (Caution: demon refers to Mary as a "whore")

Joseph finds Mary sitting alone in her bedroom, looking disturbed.  She confesses that she is worried about the safety of travelling to Jerusalem.  Concerned for her son, Mary feels helpless: "This path that He's on, I don't know where it leads, except that His enemies will be there.  Such fierce enemies."  She turns away from Joseph, full of self doubt: "Why did God choose me?  What if I'm not strong enough?"  Joseph tenderly takes her hand: "You're the brave and shining girl who protected her infant Son from an army that was dedicated to murdering Him.  It is they who should fear you."  Mary lovingly takes Joseph's face in her hands, telling him how grateful she is that he married her and took Jesus as his own.  Joseph: "I thank God for choosing me, every day.  Every day."

At the temple in Jerusalem, an old, blind rabbi is teaching young boys about the coming Messiah.  As he speaks, Jesus approaches, reciting along with him: "He will know and honor the Lord.  His greatest joy will be to obey the Lord."  The rabbi, overjoyed at Jesus's understanding, invites the boy to sit next to him.  Rabbi: "Tell me, what does a boy want with me?"  Jesus: "Rabbi, about seven years ago, a boy was born in a stable in Bethlehem.  Three magi came from the east and gave Him gifts.  Rabbi: "Yes.  I know this tale well."  Jesus: "What happened to the boy after that?  No one talks about it."  Rabbi: "Why do you want to know?"  Jesus: "It's all I can think about.  It's why I've come from Nazareth."  The rabbi proceeds to tell Jesus how the magi avoided Herod, whose desire was to kill the promised child.  Then, in a rage, Herod ordered the murder of every Jewish baby boy under two years old.  (Here we see scenes of the soldiers attacking homes and mothers weeping for their children.)  Rabbi: "Not one survived.  Not one.  Think of it.  An army of men to slaughter infants."  Jesus begins to weep.  (Caution: disturbing scene of violence)

Mary and seven-year-old Jesus are sitting underneath a tree.  Mary knows the time has come for her to tell her Son about His miraculous birth.  She begins with the visit of the angel and, as she tells it, a ray of sunlight falls across the two of them, bathing them in golden light.  Mary tells Jesus the angel spoke to her, saying: "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee."  Mary, continuing: "I had found favor with the Lord, and I was blessed among women.  It said that, from my womb, would come a Son...You."  She touches Jesus's head tenderly.  When Mary finishes the story, Jesus wonders: "What did Joseph say?"  And so, Mary tells Jesus of the angel's visit to Joseph.  When Jesus wonders if the angel is His father, Mary answers: "No, no.  God is.  God is Your Father."  Jesus, with child-like confusion: "But, we're all children of God."  Mary, tears in her eyes: "Yes, yes we are.  But You...You are begotten of God."  She tells her Son that this is the reason why He is able to do the miraculous things He has done: "He's made You a child to grow in wisdom, as well as all other things.  Keep Your power inside You, until Your Father in heaven shows You the time to use it."
