ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Narrator: "Adeline was driving north to her parents' beach cottage...when something highly unusual occurred.  Something almost magical."  Adeline peers in amazement through the darkened car windshield, seeing snowflakes falling in Sonoma County for the first time.  Smiling, she continues to squint through the glass, trying to see the road in the now obscured darkness.  Suddenly, Adeline's car plunges through a fence and into the water below.  Narrator: "The immersion in the frigid water caused Adaline's body to go into an anoxic reflex, instantly stopping her breathing and slowing her heartbeat.  Within two minutes, Adaline Bowman's core temperature had dropped to 87 degrees.  Her heart stopped beating.  At 8:55, a bolt of lightning struck the vehicle, discharging half a billion volts of electricity and producing 60,000 amperes of current.  The effect was threefold."  The lightning appears to explode around the partially submerged vehicle, where Adaline floats with closed eyes.  Narrator, speaking scientifically of what can only be termed a miracle: "First, the charge defibrillated Adaline Bowman's heart.  Second, she was jolted out of her anoxic state, causing her to draw her first breath in two minutes."  Adaline's eyes open and she rises to the surface of the water, taking a deep breath.  She makes her was slowly out of the car and collapses onto the ground, exhausted.  Narrator: "Third, based on Von Lehman's Principle of Electron Compression in deoxyribonucleic acid, which will be discovered in the year 2035, Adaline Bowman will henceforth be immune to the ravages of time.  She will never age another day."

Amanda greets her friend, Regan, at the annual New Years' Eve party.  The two ladies sit down to discuss their plans for the new year.  Regan: "It's funny.  No matter how old you get, New Years' Eve still feels like the one night where anything is possible."  Amanda: "What's your resolution?"  Regan, who is over forty and single: "Same as always.  True love.  How about you?"  Amanda: "To live this year as though it were my last."  Regan: "Well, you never know.  It could be, at our age."  The two ladies clink their glasses together in a toast: "H--l yeah, let's live."  (Caution: h-word used)

Jenny is staring up at the dark night sky, marvelling at the brilliant landscape of stars.  Her thoughts are interrupted suddenly by a question from William: "How many stars do you think there are in our galaxy?"  Jenny: "I don't know...five hundred million?"  William, an astronomer: "A couple of hundred billion."  He pauses for a moment before continuing: "Plato believed that every soul has a companion star it returns to after death.  If you lived a moral life."  Jenny smiles, lifting her eyebrows: "You believe that?"  William chuckles: "No.  No, I'm a scientist.  Plato was a philosopher, a poet."

Jenny, travelling down a dark road at night, was struck by a truck and thrown from her car.  Now, lying unconscious by the side of the road, her life begins to slip away.  Narrator: "In the first stages of hypothermia, the body will try to generate heat through shivering.  When this fails, it will decrease the flow of blood to the extremities.  Metabolism slows to a crawl.  You're dying, but you don't know it."  A close-up of Jenny's hand shows her fingers curled slightly and motionless.  A glance at her feet shows that one shoe was lost during the accident.  Narrator, continuing in an emotionless tone: "In the final stages, the victim breathes only once or twice a minute.  A state of suspended animation."  Jenny's eyes are closed, as if in sleep.  Ellis, searching for Jenny, arrives at the scene of the accident and stops his car, running down the embankment to where Jenny's body lies.  As he kneels over her, the narrator continues: "At 10:07 pm, Adaline (Jenny) Bowman's core temperature had dropped to 87 degrees.  Her heart stopped beating."

William gets the attention of his guests in order to make a speech thanking his wife for their forty years of marriage.  The smiling couple, their arms around one another, stand before a roomful of friends and family.  William, emotionally: "It means a lot to us that you would be here to help us celebrate the first forty years of our marriage.  When I first met this lovely lady, back in the olden days, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to do in my job, but I didn't really know what I wanted to be as a man - - when I grew up - - if I ever grew up.  But the commitment that she made to our marriage, our family, to me...that quality of her love...led me to understand that I could have no greater ambition in life than to be the best possible husband I could be for her.  And I'm still working on it.  So, here's to Kathy...love of my life...mate of my soul...mother of my children."
