ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Jake is teaching his oldest son to hunt with a bow and arrow.  He gently holds Neteyam's arm, whispering words of encouragement as the boy pulls back on the string.  He cheers for the excited Neteyam as he catches his first fish.  Later, they are back at the hut.  Jake is making notches on the post to measure the height of his four children.  They gather around him, eagerly watching to see how much they've grown.  Jake, thinking to himself: "Goes by too fast.  Like a dream."  Still later, the whole family poses for a photograph.  Like most family photographs, it isn't perfect.  The teens smile too much or not enough.  Some stare right at the camera and others are caught looking away.  But it is still a treasure, a moment in time to be remembered with joy.  Jake, to himself: "Happiness is simple.  Like date night."  Now, he and his wife are alone together, flying on their dragons and whooping with laughter.  It is like they are young again.  


Jake has told Neytiri they must leave their people and their home to find a place where they can keep their children safe from Quaritch.  But Neytiri is grieved.  She doesn't want to leave the source of all her memories or the people who love them.  Jake admits he doesn't have a plan.  But a look of determination comes over his face: "But I can protect this family.  That I can do."  Tears fill Neytiri's eyes.  He puts his hands on her shoulders to look into her face: "But I know one thing.  Wherever we go, this family is our fortress."  


Neytiri has just been told by her husband Jake that they must leave their people and their home to find a place where they can keep their children safe from Quaritch. Unwilling to go so easily, Neytiri presents a magnificent bow: "My father gave me this bow as he lay dying and said, 'Protect the people...' as their children secretly listen... Jake: "This *will* protect the people!"

Jake, Neytiri, and Tuk are all trapped inside the sunken ship.  None of them have much air left to breathe.  Knowing their parents and sister are trapped, Jake and Neytiri's children search for them.  Kiri uses a school of glowing fish to illuminate her path under the water until she finds her mother and sister trapped in a chamber of the boat.  Suddenly, the two have hope as Kiri promises to rescue them: "Everything's going to be all right.  Trust me."  In another part of the ship, Lo'ak has already found his father.  Jake has given up, believing he doesn't have the strength to swim out of the ship and up to the surface.  But Lo'ak refuses to let him quit: "Dad, you can do this."  Both children counsel their parents to take big breaths before diving under the water.  They guide their parents to the way out, helping them along the way.  Finally, just when they think they can swim no longer, Payakan appears, helping them the rest of the way to the surface.  The family, now all together, share an embrace, grateful to be alive.  Jake, narrating: "Sully's stick together.  It was our greatest weakness and our great strength."


Spider, who has been conscripted as interpreter for Quaritch and his men, is with them when their ship arrives at a village on the coast.  Quaritch is searching for Jake Sully and he is convinced that he is hiding somewhere among the sea people.  Quaritch and his men surround the villagers and hold them captive.  Forcing the people to kneel under threat of death, Quaritch proceeds to question them regarding Sully's whereabouts.  Spider translates, telling Quaritch that the villagers know nothing about Jake Sully.  But this isn't good enough for Quaritch.  He orders one of their sea dragons to be shot.  The people cry out at the killing of their beloved animal.  Quaritch next threatens to start killing people.  Spider, himself a prisoner, is unable to watch the injustice any longer.  Spider: "Stop!"  Quaritch orders him to translate his murderous threats.  Spider refuses: "No!  I'm not doing that."  Quaritch, threateningly: "Is that right?"  Spider: "I'm not gonna be a part of this.  These people don't know anything!  Please don't do this!  This is wrong!  What you're doing here is wrong!  Please!"  Quaritch, convicted by Spider's words, changes his mind about killing the people.  Instead he orders the village to be burned to the ground.  (Caution: h-word spoken, scene may disturb some viewers)


Kiri is watching underwater ocean life when four boys from the village spot her.  They laugh at the girl as she floats over the sand: "What is she doing?"  Kiri, hearing their laughter, surfaces.  Aonung: "Are you some kind of freak?"  Rotxo: "He asked if you are a freak."  Kiri tries to walk away, but the boys surround her, mocking her for looking differently than them.  Just then, Lo'ak arrives and tries to stick up for his sister, but the boys just push him around too.  Finally, Neteyam stalks up to the group.  He grabs Aonung by the arm, forcing the boy to face him.  Neteyam, quietly, but menacingly: "You heard what she said.  Leave them alone.  Back off.  Now."  Aonung, intimidated, backs away.  Neteyam: "Smart choice.  And, from now on, I need you to respect my sister."


Jake and his family have come to a tribe of Na'vi who leave by the sea.  The sea people have some differences from Jake's people, the people of the forest.  Their arms are larger, their hands are somewhat webbed, their tails are thicker, and they are a different color.  The chief, Tonowari, greets them somewhat formally, and the tribespeople stare openly.  Jake tells Tonowari that he and his family seek asylum with their tribe.  Tonowari, protesting: "We are reef people.  You are forest people.  Your skills will mean nothing here."  Jake: "We will learn your ways."  While the men are talking, Tonowari's wife, Ronal, walks around Jake and his family appraisingly.  She grabs a tail here, an arm there, always dropping them as if dissatisfied.  Finally, she speaks: "Their arms are thin.  Their tails are weak.  You will be slow in the water."  Suddenly, she notices they all have five fingers: "These children are not even true Na'vi!  They have demon blood!"  The people gasp and hiss, backing away from the "demons."  Jake's children hang their heads, humiliated.  Jake holds up his own hand, showing Ronal that he, too, has five fingers: "I was born of the Sky People and now I am Na'vi.  You can adapt.  We will adapt!"


Lo'ak is alone outside the protection of the reef, floating on his sea dragon.  Suddenly, from the depths of the sea, a huge shark-like akula charges at him.  Lo'ak is thrown from the sea dragon as it lunges away from the attack.  The akula initially pursues the dragon, but it is too fast a prey.  It turns back to Lo'ak.  Quickly, Lo'ak hides in a coral formation.  The akula snaps its jaws terrifyingly close, but it is unable to reach Lo'ak.  Soon, however, its powerful bite clamps through the coral and Lo'ak is forced to find another hiding place.  He moves from coral to coral, but the akula is always just a step behind.  Finally, Lo'ak finds a piece of coral strong enough to protect him.  The akula disappears.  Lo'ak knows he must still be nearby, but he is running out of oxygen.  Finally, he can hold his breath no longer.  He leaves his sanctuary, pushing towards the surface.  Almost immediately, the akula charges.  Just before it reaches Lo'ak, an even bigger sea creature looms out of nowhere and attacks it.  Lo'ak is saved.  (Caution: intense scene)


Aonung and his friends entice Lo'ak to a trip into a sea predator's territory and leave him stranded. Lo'ak is saved from the predator and befriended by Payakan, a Tulkun—an intelligent and pacifistic whale-like species whom the Metkayina consider their spiritual brethren.
