ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

After inadvertently trading her life for a dead youth, Astrid is led to a train platform, bearing a ticket on the Soul Train.  The departures board lists the destinations: "The Great Beyond, Pearly Gates, Fires of Damnation, and Elysium Fields."  A group of dancers wearing seventies-style clothes jam to an upbeat funk song.  The conductor leans out the window to announce: "This is the 8:35 to the Great Beyond!  All aboard...the Soul Train!"  The dancers sing: ♪ "Get on!  Get on!  Get on board!" ♪ Astrid, her eyes bulging in horror, tries to escape her guards, but they lead her down the platform and place her on the train.  Other dead follow her on board as the dancers continue to jam: ♪ "Take a little ride with meeeee!" ♪


Astrid's mother and grandmother have come to her school to break the news that her grandfather has died.  Astrid quietly struggles to comprehend the sudden death, but her grandmother's coping mechanism is more exploitative.  Grandma Delia announces dramatically: "We are going to honor him with a Grief Collective."  Astrid: "A Grief Collective?"  Grandma: "I am seeing a semi-multimedia visual manifesto of our loss.  What does loss look like?  Is it just tears?  A headstone?  Wilting gladioli?  No, we need to unpack the art of sorrow!"  Astrid, sarcastically: "Yeah, that sounds really traumatic."

When Lydia receives a frantic text from her mother she rushes to her studio: "What happened?"  Delia: "You're father's left me."  Lydia: "He's divorcing you?"  Delia, offended: "What a horrible thought!  No!  He's dead!  Daddy's passed away."  Lydia sits down, shocked: "How?"  Delia: "His plane went down in the South Pacific."  Lydia: "A plane crash?  That was his worst nightmare."  Delia: "Actually, he survived the crash."  Lydia: "He drowned?!"  Delia: "Almost.  But not quite, no.  According to survivors, Daddy clung onto a wing."  Lydia, confused: "So, how did he die?"  Delia: "A shark jumped out of the water and got him!"  (Here we see a Claymation view of the tragedy.)  Lydia, stunned: "I just spoke to him on Saturday."  Caution: bloody image


Le Tigre is distracted by his cell phone when he walks into an open manhole, completely missing the orange caution cones surrounding it.  He opens his eyes to find himself in a strange, dim underworld.  A large knot bulges on his forehead, evidence of his recent demise.  What little light there is flickers, giving the atmosphere a dreamlike quality.  Le Tigre looks down a misshapen hallway, where the floor slopes downward at odd angles.  He sees a janitor buffing the floors and approaches him: "Where am I?"  Janitor: "Down the hall, second door on the right.  Take a number.  Someone will help you.  Eventually." 


After an unconventional graveside funeral service, Delia is still trying to comprehend the loss of her husband: "I just don't believe I won't see Charles again."  At this, the pastor approaches with a garbled homily of spiritual catch-phrases cobbled together: "Be comforted in the knowledge that he's in a far better place...angels are guiding him towards everlasting light, and may his soul fly through the heavenly gates like the birds that he so adored and soar over the Fields of Elysium to the glory that is thine."  Delia scowls in confusion: "What?"

Delia Deetz is wealthy and powerful and always gets what she wants.  So, when she wakes up in the underworld after being bitten by a snake, she can't believe she's actually dead.  She stands at the back of a long line of corpses, who wait interminably at a window to take a number, DMV-fashion.  Delia pushes her way to the front of the line: "I'm late for a wedding."  She addresses the employee, who is filing her nails in front of an enormous book of names of the dead.  Delia: "Hi, yes, one question, how do I get out of here?  Because someone made a terrible mistake."  Girl: "I'm on a break.  Take a number.  Take a seat."  Delia tries to explain why she couldn't possibly be dead: "Those asps, they were defanged.  I paid extra for that."  Girl: "Honey, you're dead, okay?  Now, take a number and sit down."  Delia again tries to argue, but the girl is unfazed.  Delia, stomping her feet: "I'm not dead!"  The girl slams the window shut in her face.  Delia: "Wait, I know people!  I know people!  I am people!"
