ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Steve is in an examination room, waiting with other men to enlist in the army to fight in World War II.  The man sitting next to him comments on the death toll: "It kind of makes you think twice about enlisting, huh?"  Steve, without hesitating: "Nope."  He stands as his name is called and walks confidently up to the army doctor.  Steve's small, skinny frame looks even slighter when compared to the well-muscled men surrounding him.  Both of Steve's parents were killed serving in the war and Steve tells the doctor of his hopes to serve in his father's battalion.  The doctor glances down at the results of Steve's physical examination.  A long list of ailments captures his attention.  Steve's eagerness changes to discouragment when the doctor disqualifies him for service.  He begs the doctor for a chance, but he is denied.  Steve is considered too weak for service.

Steve is in the theater, watching the war news reel play before the feature.  A large man loudly jeers the news reel, mocking the war effort and irritating the rest of the audience.  Most of the people just stare at the man and scowl, shaking their heads in disgust.  Steve, who lost both parents in the war, is among those who look grieved by the man's words.  Steve, the only one to do something about the disturbance, first asks the man quietly to show respect, but when he continues his taunts, Steve tells him to shut up.  The stocky man stands, glaring threateningly at the diminutive Steve.  In the next instant, both men are outside the theater and Steve is being punched again and again.  Each time he is knocked to the ground, Steve quickly jumps to his feet, ready to try again.  After seeing no signs of flagging in his victim, the bully addresses Steve: "You just don't know when to give up, do you?"  Steve, panting but undaunted: "I can do this all day."

Steve and his fellow army recruits are being tested and trained in preparation for entering the battlefield.  Having just run for miles, their sergeant stops them at a flag pole marking the halfway point.  He issues a challenge, promising a ride back to camp to the first soldier to hand him the flag from the top of the pole.  The men surround the pole like a pack of dogs, each scrambling to shimmy up the pole.  The sergeant yells to be heard above their efforts, telling them that no one has brought him the flag in 17 years.  Finally, seeing no one coming close to the goal, he orders the men to continue their run.  Steve, the smallest guy in the group, had held back while his peers fought to show their strength.  Now, he walks up to the flag pole, bends down, and pulls the pin from the base of the pole.  The pole falls to the ground.  While the soldiers stare, openmouthed, Steve calmly picks up the flag and hands it to the sergeant.  He climbs into the jeep for his ride back to camp.

Colonel Phillips and Dr. Erskine are looking for a soldier to use in a top-secret, experimental program.  The two men differ in their opinions of the perfect candidate.  Colonel Phillips favors Hodge - - a strapping young soldier whose strength is only surpassed by his ego.  Dr. Erskine has picked Steve Rogers, the smallest and weakest of all the soldiers.  The two men are debating their choices while watching the soldiers perform their exercises.  Phillips, looking at Steve's scrawny physique disgustedly: "You stick a needle in that kid's arm, it's gonna go right through him."  Erskine: "I am looking for qualities beyond the physical."  Phillips: "You don't win wars with niceness, Doctor.  You win wars with guts."  Phillips pulls the pin out of a grenade and tosses it into the middle of the exercising soldiers.  The soldiers bolt in all directions...all except Steve.  Steve throws his thin, bony body on top of the grenade, yelling for the others to get away.  After a few tense moments, the soldiers begin to realize that the grenade was a fake.  Dr. Erskine looks at Phillips with a smile.  (Caution: "h--l" used once as profanity)

Steve, a skinny soldier picked for a heroic mission, asks Dr. Erskine why he was chosen.  Dr. Erskine tells Steve of the origins of the serum that will be used to transform him into a super-soldier.  He tells the gangly boy that it's not the serum that's most important to the experiment...it is the character of the man chosen.  Whatever is already in the heart will only be magnified by the serum.  Dr. Erskine: "Good becomes great.  Bad becomes worse.  This is why you were chosen.  Because a strong man who has known power all his life may lose respect for that power, but a weak man knows the value of strength.  And knows compassion."

Steve, a soldier, is riding with his commanding officer, Peggy Carter.  They are driving through his old neighborhood, and Steve begins pointing out all the places where he used to get beat up.  (Steve is a short, skinny asthmatic.)  Peggy, commenting on the frequency of Steve's beatings: "Did you have something against running away?"  Steve: "You start running, they'll never let you stop.  You stand up, you push back.  They can't say no forever, right?"

Steve (Captain America) is travelling the front lines, dressed in a costume and advertising war bonds.  He sits backstage, drawing a self-portrait of a performing monkey.  Peggy approaches him and comments disparagingly on his choice of occupations.  Steve tells her that he prefers parading as Captain America to being stuck in a lab and being experimented on.  Peggy is frustrated by his defeatist attitude: "And these are your only two options?  A lab rat or a dancing monkey?  You were meant for more than this, you know."  Steve considers her words.  He shakes his head, discouraged: "You know, for the longest time I dreamed about being overseas and being on the front lines, serving my country.  I finally got everything I wanted...and I'm wearing tights."

Howard Stark is investigating a mysterious substance discovered in a stolen Nazi weapon.  The substance has a reputation for supernatural power, but Stark is unconvinced.  Stark, staring at the small blue stone fragment: "Seems harmless enough.  Hard to see what all the fuss is about."  Stark moves two mechanical arms together to grasp the element.  When the arms touch the stone, it sends a shock of energy through the room that shatters glass and throws Stark and his assistant backwards to the ground.

Schmidt (Red Skull) has captured Captain America.  He taunts the hero with his limited abilities, but his mockery hides a heart of jealousy.  (Both men were endowed with their supernatural strengths by the same doctor, but Captain America's gifts are superior.)  Schmidt, speaking of the doctor: "He resented my genius and tried to deny me what was rightfully mine.  But he gave you everything.  So, what made you so special?"  Captain America chuckles, knowing full well his natural limitations: "Nothing.  I'm just a kid from Brooklyn."  His response infuriates Schmidt, who knocks him to the floor.

Steve (Captain America) has conquered the evil Schmidt and taken over his plane.  He radios Peggy to tell her of their victory.  Peggy hopes to help Steve safely land the plane, but Steve knows the bombs on board are too dangerous to allow near land.  Steve, staring helplessly out at the clouds, determines to die for the sake of others: "I got to put her in the water."  Peggy begs him to examine other options, but Steve is adamant.  Steve: "If I wait any longer, a lot of people are going to die.  This is my choice."  Determinedly, Steve sends the plane speeding down toward the water.  In his final moments, as he watches the cold waves come nearer and nearer, Steve jokes with Peggy, making a date with her for the following week.  Peggy, tears in her eyes, plays along.  Steve, still joking, is cut off mid-sentence when the plane hits the ice.  Peggy sobs quietly.

Steve awakens in a hospital room.  His surroundings, though unfamiliar, are typical of his experience.  The room decor, view of the city from his window, and even the radio playing a ball game are all consistent with 1940s New York City.  But Steve is confused and wary.  An army nurse enters the room and cordially answers his questions.  Steve, suspicious, confronts her: "Where am I really?"  The ball game playing on the radio is one he had attended himself, and he knows the game would never be replayed.  Steve breaks through the wall of his room, discovering that everything, including his view of New York City, was an illusion.  His room was a mere stage in the middle of a huge building.  Frightened and confused, he rushes out of the building to find himself in a world totally strange and unfamiliar.  Finally, he is approached by a man who tells him the truth.  He has been in a coma for seventy years.  They had hoped to ease his re-entry into the real world by fabricating one he would be comfortable in.  But Steve was too alert to be deceived.
