ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Captain Underpants

George and Harold describe the 'Origin Issue' of their Captain Underpants comic.

George and Harold are in their treehouse: remembering how they first met and became friends, how much they enjoy making their own comics, and end by singing a song of how much they love Saturdays: ♪ "I love Saturdays, where anything is possible! I love Saturdays, cause I can wear my pajamas all day! I love Saturdays, cause I can watch tv all day and I can pee a little bit in my underwear and no one will mind..." ♪

Fueled by Edith's toxic leftovers, Captain Underpants gains real superpowers and, with George and Harold's help, he defeats and shrinks Poopypants, who escapes on a bee.

George and Harold chase after Principal Krump after hypnotizing him into thinking that he's Captain Underpants. The Captain goes a bit off the rails, as he finds and fights a giant gorilla balloon!

Professor Poopypants attacks the school with a ray that turns the students into dull, humorless zombies - including George and Harold who are trapped by the machine's giant hands. But the power of laughter, brought on by a joke that made them friends in kindergarten, overloads the machine and returns the kids to normal. "Never underestimate the power of laughter!"

Captain Underpants orders a school fair, giving every kid the time of their lives!  Unfortunately, the abundance of water (which changes the Captain back to Principal Krump) is more than the boys can handle.

George and Harold are once again in the principal's office.  The much-feared sanctum more nearly resembles a jail cell than an office.  A close-up of a poster on the wall shows a giant judge's gavel with the word, "Discipline."  Another poster depicts a huge foot getting ready to crush a helpless ant above the word, "Authority."  A gold-plated sign nailed to the principal's desk reads: "Hope dies here."  Krupp stares silently and angrily at two young boys seated across from him.  Ominous music plays in the background.  Krupp stares unflinchingly for so long that the boys think he's fallen asleep with his eyes open.  However, when they try to sneak out, his hand shoots out and smacks a large, red button.  The button activates a complicated security system, and a thick, metal door cuts off the exit.  The principal laughingly brags that he shelved music and art in order to purchase the security system.

George and Harold are secretly watching Principal Krupp as he makes photocopies.  From their vantage point in the supply closet, they spy Edith, the lunch lady, as she hands a homemade casserole to the bachelor principal.  Both adults, sweating and nervous, show clear signs of mutual attraction.  George, disgusted: "Ewww!  They like each other!"  Harold, making finger quotes in the air: "Oh, no, George.  I think it's much worse.  They 'like-like' each other."   George: "What are you talking about?  Adults don't 'like-like' other adults."   Harold, matter-of-factly: "Well, you probably haven't seen it at your home since your parents are married.  In my studies, like-liking seems to end with marriage."

George and Harold wheel their unconscious principal up the sidewalk toward his house.  They move with trepidation, afraid to see the inside of their dreaded principal's abode.  Once inside, however, they are surprised to find it is nothing more than a normal house.  Deciding to snoop a bit, they move from room to room.  Opening the fridge, they see nothing but a lone ketchup bottle.  Peeking in a drawer, they see a single fork.  The kitchen cupboard holds only a box of "Not-So-Cheery-O's."   Harold sighs in disappointment: "This guy's bumming me out."   One lightbulb shines down on a solitary place setting at the dining table.  In the bathroom, a single toothbrush sits in a cup.  Two towels marked, "His," and "Still His," hang on the shower.  The boys comment on how sad their snoop turned out to be.  Finally, they lift their sleeping principal onto his bed, where a body-shaped dent shows the place he always lies.   Harold shudders: "I sure hope we don't end up like him...all alone."  (Caution: principal is dressed in underwear and a cape)

Professor P. pulls out a chart depicting a child's brain.   Brandishing a pointer, he begins to highlight the different parts: "This is the 'thinking about candy' lopalus."   He points at different sections and continues: "The 'fear of what's under the bed' lobe.  This is the 'only thing I'll eat is pizza, chicken nuggets, or buttered noodles lobe.'  Right here is the 'as soon as someone else has a toy, I want that toy' anterior lobe."  He throws the pointer on the ground and jabs the chart with his finger: "And this!  This is the Hahaguffawchuckleamalus.  This funny, little purple part holds our entire capacity for laughter.  For years, I've tried to shrink it or cut it out entirely.  But, frustratingly, our survival seems dependent upon it."   Harold, raising his hand: "Um, excuse me, Professor P.  Why are you trying to get rid of laughter?  Isn't laughter the best medicine?"  Professor, angrily: "Medicine is the best medicine!"

Harold and George have decided they need to return Principal Krupp to his normal state.  Though they know it to be the right decision, they are still sad because it will mean they will be in separate classes at school.  George brightens, reminding Harold that they will still be friends.  The two boys debate making a special pact to demonstrate their forever-friendship.  Deciding against blood oaths, pinky-swearing, and a saliva handshake, they agree to make a formal declaration of friendship.   Harold raises his right hand, putting his left over his heart: "I, Harold, hereby declare George as my best friend, permanently, forever."   George, raising his own hand: "And I, George, accept the permanent rights that Harold has given me to be his best friend forever..."

Principal Krump finally get his revenge on George and Harold after years of pranks. The punishment? The boys will be placed in separate classes! At this horrible news, the boys imagine their friendship is over: "I'll never see you again in my life!"
