ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Miles and miles of dense jungle stretch out as far as the eye can see.  One thing only breaks the pattern of endless green:  a collection of waterfalls cascading majestically into white, frothy pools.  Mists rise off the falls, which stretch out over a wide space of the jungle, appearing like white hair weaving in and around the verdant green of the forest.  The waters collect into a rushing river, which itself dwindles into smaller streams that feed into the dense darkness of the jungle.

Oscar, a young chimp, and his tribe are in the nut grove of the jungle, feasting on the fallen nuts.  Oscar is beginning the process of learning to crack the hard nuts for himself.  He crouches on a log, hitting a nut repeatedly with a tree branch.  The chimp gives a frustrated squeak when he realizes he is making no headway.  He moves off to grab a larger branch.  Dragging it back to his log, he resumes pounding the nut.  However, the branch breaks with the force of the impact.  Oscar continues with the smaller branch segment until it, too, breaks.  He stops, scratching his head.  He looks over at the other chimps, many of whom are using rocks to break the nuts.  Narrator, imagining Oscar's thoughts: "Whoa.  They're using rocks?  No one said anything about rocks."  Oscar fetches a rock of his own and, this time, his efforts are successful.  Oscar crouches, munching his nut.  Once finished, he moves off to gather more nuts, leaving his rock behind.  Narrator: "Rookie mistake."  A grown chimp spies the rock and snatches it for himself.

A large chimpanzee lounges under a tree.  Narrator: "In the heat of the day, the parents just want a few minutes of peace and quiet, but the kids have other ideas."  Two young chimps energetically climb the branches of the tree, chattering and wrestling with each other.  The noise of the shaking branches awakens the adult and he looks up at the young chimps.  Narrator, as the voice of the tired adult chimp: "A million trees in this forest, and you have to play over me."  The chimps continue wrestling and one of them falls down onto a lower branch.  The adult shifts its position.  Narrator, again voicing the adult's thoughts: "I'm sleeping!"  Oblivious to their elders, the young chimps chatter and laugh as they swing in the trees.  One youth climbs down and lies on top of his parent.  Oscar, another young chimp, approaches his resting mother, pulling and dragging at her hand.  She ignores the tugging, appearing to be in an exhausted trance.  Narrator: "Poor Isha.  Just look at her.  She really does have her hands full with Oscar."  The two mothers sit while their young wrestle between them.

A small group of colobus monkeys are being watched by a pack of chimps on the ground.  To catch the smaller, faster monkeys, the chimps must follow a detailed plan of attack.  Narrator: "Everyone has a role to play."  The leader of the pack holds back, waiting for the others to take their positions.  Several chimps climb high into the trees, blocking off potential escape routes.  Others visibly advance on the colobus monkeys, driving them toward the hidden leader.  Once the monkeys are within reach, the leader ambushes them, successfully capturing one of their number.

Isha, a mother chimp, is cracking nuts for her young son, Oscar.  Narrator: "Nut-cracking is part of the group's cultural heritage and is passed through the generations, especially from mother to child."  The young chimps take years to learn the arts of survival from their mothers.  Oscar hangs on Isha's arm while she cracks the nuts, grabbing for the meats as soon as they're free.  Narrator: "Day after day, it takes a committed mom to teach him how to make a living in the jungle."  Oscar chatters at his mother, climbing into her lap to snuggle while she continues working.  With her baby in her lap, she cracks another nut, putting it in his mouth.  Isha moves off to gather more nuts, and Oscar climbs onto her back to come along.  Narrator: "It will be many years before Isha's son can fend for himself."

Oscar sits alone in the jungle, scratching his un-groomed fur.  (His mother, Isha, was killed by a rival tribe.)  Narrator: "Isha isn't coming back.  Oscar has to find a new mother.  But sadly for him, most of the females have kids of their own and are unable to help."  The young chimp approaches a mother, chirping appealing and tapping her on the shoulder.  She ignores him, continuing to groom those of her own family, until a member of the group snarls at Oscar, scaring him away.  Oscar approaches another adult, trying to share her food.  Another adult screeches at him, shooing him off.  Narrator: "Again and again, Oscar is rejected."  Oscar approaches a young chimp, trying and failing to get its attention.  Narrator: "Even finding a friend seems hard."  Oscar, chirping sadly, moves away to sit by himself.  Narrator: "It's hopeless.  Scar and his men may have taken more than one life that day (when Oscar's mother was killed)."  Oscar lies down on the ground, closing his eyes.

Freddy, the tough leader of a group of chimps, has adopted the orphaned Oscar after the rest of the group rejected him.  The young chimp lies contentedly while Freddy carefully grooms him, a service usually administered by an inferior member to its superior.  Narrator: "Freddy has become completely devoted to Oscar.  The highest-ranking male grooming the lowest.  It's an astonishing turn of events.  A few weeks ago, Oscar had nothing.  And now, he's well fed and completely adored, and his savior is the last one anyone could have expected."  Freddy finishes grooming Oscar, allowing the youth to climb on his back for a ride through the jungle (a service usually only provided by a mother).
