ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Ella meets an old beggar woman, who reveals herself to be her fairy godmother. She magically transforms a pumpkin into a carriage, mice into horses, lizards into footmen, and a goose into a coachman. After casting a final spell to prevent Ella's stepfamily from recognizing her, the Fairy Godmother warns her the magic will end at the last stroke of midnight.

Distraught by her stepfamily's mistreatment of her, Ella goes for a ride in the woods. There, she meets Kit, the crown prince, who introduces himself as a palace apprentice. They take a liking to each other, but part without him learning her name.

Ella, the kindhearted daughter of a wealthy merchant, tragically loses her mother to illness. Years later, her father remarries the widowed Lady Tremaine, who has two daughters of her own, Drisella and Anastasia. But when Ella's father departs on a business trip, Lady Tremaine and her daughters start to reveal their true cruel nature.

Little Ella's mother watches, smiling, as her daughter happily feeds her animals, talking to them all the while.  Mother, to Ella: "Do you still believe that they understand you?"  Ella, innocently: "Don't they, mother?"  Mother, enthusiastically: "Oh, yes.  I believe that animals listen and speak to us, if we only have the ear for it.  That's how we learn to look after them."  Ella: "Who looks after us?"  Mother, smiling broadly: "Fairy Godmothers, of course."  Ella: "And do you believe in them?"  Mother: "I believe in everything!"  Cinderella, proudly imitating her mother's expansive philosophy: "Then I believe in everything, too!"

Ella's parents are lovingly tucking her into her warm, comfortable bed, just as they do most nights.  Narrator: "All was just as it should be.  They knew themselves to be the most happy of families to live as they did and to love each other so."  Ella's beautiful mother sings her quietly to sleep and leaves her bedroom on the arm of Ella's father.  Narrator: "But sorrow can come to any kingdom, no matter how happy.  And so it came to Ella's house."  Just outside the bedroom, Ella's mother suddenly collapses.  The doctor is called, but he can do nothing but offer condolences for their sad situation.

Ella, having spent the morning preparing breakfast, is now serving it to her stepmother and stepsisters.  As she places the food on the table, the three indolent women begin to mock her for her dirty, ash-covered face.  Ella, embarrassed, tries futilely to clean herself before setting her own plate on the table.  Slyly, her stepmother insinuates that Ella's place is in the kitchen, not at the table with the family.  Sadly, Ella picks up her dishes and carries them to the kitchen, hearing her stepmother's cruel laughter following behind her.  Reaching the lonely room, she begins to cry.  Spotting her reflection in the polished surface of a table, Ella stops to stare at her appearance.  Narrator, sharing Ella's thoughts: "Cinderella.  Names have power, like magic spells.  And, of a sudden, it seemed to her that her stepmother and stepsisters had indeed transformed her into merely a creature of ash and toil."

It is the day of the ball, and Cinderella is helping her two stepsisters get ready to meet the prince.  The two silly girls primp and preen themselves, trying on jewelry, tightly cinching their waists into painful corsets, and donning fat hoops to wear under lavish gowns.  As they dress, they pretend they are meeting the prince and that he desires only them.  Cinderella joins their conversation with what she considers a pertinent question: "What will he be like, I wonder?"  Anastasia laughs derisively: "What does it matter what he's like?  He's rich beyond reason!"  Cinderella, practically: "Wouldn't you like to know a bit about him before you marry him?"  Drisella: "Certainly not.  It might change my mind."  The two sisters prance around the room, mocking Cinderella for her limited contact with men.  Drisella, knowingly: "All men are fools, that's what Mamma says.  The sooner you learn that, the better."  They return to their imagined meeting of the prince of fools as Cinderella leaves the room, pitying them.

Cinderella enters the glittering ballroom just as the porter is announcing the first dance.  As such, all eyes are on her as she stands at the top of the stairwell.  She is arrayed in a beautiful gown of shimmering blue.  Her hair shines in golden ringlets, and her eyes sparkle with excitement and anticipation.  She smiles out at the roomful of people staring at her, catching the eye of the handsome prince.  Slowly, she makes her way down the stairs as the prince makes his way through the crowd toward her, no thoughts for anyone except her.  In a palace full of beautiful women wearing beautiful gowns, Cinderella still manages to stand out, and the crowd silently observes her encounter with the prince.  As the two meet, they smile at one another.  The prince is so awestruck by her beauty, he can hardly speak.  He begs for the honor of a dance, and the two begin to whirl gracefully around the ballroom.  Cinderella, noticing the crowd apparently for the first time: "They're all looking at you."  Prince, intensely: "Believe me, they're all looking at you."

After Cinderella unsuccessfully searches for her hidden glass slipper, Stepmother speaks from the shadows of the attic: "Looking for this?"  The woman holds the slipper up so the girl can see it, speaking bitterly: "I shall tell you a story.  Once upon a time..."  Stepmother relates the story of her own life - - how she met her true love and married, giving birth to two beautiful daughters.  While her daughters were still young enough to be at home, her beloved husband died, taking with him her hopes of happiness.  Then, thinking to provide for her girls, she married again, only to have the second husband also taken in death.  As a final straw, she was left to care for her stepdaughter, a beautiful girl who thwarted her hopes to marry off one of her daughters to the prince.  Stepmother, coldly: "And, so, I lived unhappily ever after."

Cinderella cries out as her stepmother smashes her glass slipper against the wall.  Cinderella: "Why?  Why are you so cruel?  I don't understand it!  I've tried to be kind to you."  Stepmother, bitterly: "You?  Kind to me?"  Cinderella: "Yes.  And though no one deserves to be treated as you have treated me.  Why do you do it?"  Stepmother, spitting her words out angrily: "Why?  Because you are young, and innocent, and good.  And I  - -"  Stepmother stops before finishing her sentence, abruptly leaving the room and locking Cinderella in behind her.

The Grand Duke has announced his search for the mystery woman who has captured the prince's heart.  A line of hopeful women a mile long has formed in front of the castle, and each takes a turn in trying on the abandoned glass slipper.  One-by-one, their hopes of a royal wedding are dashed as foot after foot refuses to be crammed into the delicate shoe.  Finally, once those who have presented themselves at the castle have been tested, the Duke takes the slipper all over the countryside, travelling to the homes of every maiden in the kingdom.  Every woman, from the humblest baker to the most regal lady is given an opportunity to try on the slipper.  Each does so with high hopes and romantic dreams.  Some ladies are so desperate for the title of queen that they pretend the slipper fits when it clearly does not.  Even elderly spinsters are not immune to the allure of a prince's proposal.

Stepmother has reluctantly brought the Captain of the Guard to the attic to present Cinderella: "See!  I told you it was no one of any importance."  Ignoring the jealous woman's judgment, he orders Cinderella to go downstairs to meet the king.  As Cinderella moves to follow the captain, Stepmother grabs her arm and hisses into her ear: "Just remember who you are, you wretch!"  Cinderella says nothing, but merely follows the captain out the door.  In a state of nervous excitement, Cinderella walks downstairs.  On her way, she passes a mirror and stops to examine herself.  She is dressed plainly, in her old, stained work dress.  Her hair is somewhat matted and she has no jewelry.  Narrator, describing Cinderella's thoughts: "Would who she was, who she really was, be enough?  There was no magic to help her this time.  This is perhaps the greatest risk that any of us will take:  to be seen as we truly are."

Cinderella, having just successfully tried on the glass slipper, is walking out of her childhood home on the arm of the prince.  As the two lovebirds are about to exit the front door, they spy Cinderella's stepmother watching from the stairs.  She stands there, beautiful and cold, all her hopes of monetary gain disappointed just as Cinderella's are fulfilled.  Cinderella stares at her silently for a few moments, knowing that she now has all the power of the kingdom with which to exact revenge.  Instead, she smiles, saying quietly: "I forgive you."
