ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Brad Neary, in a demanding voice, to his father, Roy: "Dad, do my problems for me."  Roy, looking up from his model train set: "I don't have to do your problems for you.  You do your problems for you.  That's why I graduated, so I don't have to do problems."  Brad: "I don't understand these fractions."  Roy: "Alright, what's one-third of sixty?"  Brad: "That's a fraction.  I don't understand it."  Roy, grabbing a train car and putting it on the tracks: "Alright, look.  Let's say that this boxcar is sixty feet long.  Okay?  And one-third of it is across this switch here.  Alright?  Okay?"  Turning on the train set, "And now, another train is coming.  Now, how far do you have to move this boxcar off the track so that the other train doesn't smash it?  Quickly, Brad, there are thousands of lives at stake."  As his son watches the train zipping closer to the boxcar, "Brad, any answer."  Brad smiles as he watches the toy train collision, not caring to attempt any answer.

Roy Neary is in his truck stopped by some train tracks.  Absorbed in his maps, he pays little attention to the bright lights of the alien spaceship that have suddenly appeared behind him.  Without looking, he motions for whoever is behind him to pass, believing it to be just another car.  Unobserved by Roy, the ship slowly moves straight up.  Roy's concentration is finally disturbed when a row of mailboxes begins to shake.  Startled, Roy turns on his flashlight and stares with disbelief at the quaking mailboxes.  Suddenly, his flashlight and truck both lose power, and a brilliant light from above shines down on him.  Anxious, sticks his head outside and sees the brilliant alien ship hovering above him.  After flashes from the ship temporarily blind and burn him, objects begin to move around, breaking, floating, and quaking, both inside and outside his truck.  The bizarre happenings intensify as his truck suddenly surges with power.  Then everything stops.  Roy watches in amazement as the alien craft slowly floats away.  Now all alone, Roy is left a nervous wreck by the other-worldly encounter, startling as his flashlight and truck suddenly burst back to life.  (Caution: s-word used)

Roy Neary has had a strange encounter with a U.F.O. (see previous Scene).  Brad, Roy's son: "Dad, can I ask you a question?"  Roy: "What?"  Brad: "Are they for real?"  Ronnie, Roy's wife, skeptical and disapproving of Roy's encounter: "No.  They are not for real.  Now, I want you to go outside and have a hot dog, okay?"  Roy: "Ronnie, don't tell him that."  Ronnie: "Roy, look, don't talk about this until you know what you're talking about, okay?"  Roy: "Honey, that's crazy.  If I can't talk about it, then how am I gonna know what's going on?"  Ronnie: "What?"  Brad: "Mom, I believe in them."  Ronnie, as another child professes belief: "Oh, no you don't."  Brad: "Dad says we do."  Ronnie: "No, he does not.  Do you, Roy?"  Roy: "Ronnie, all I want to do is, is, is know what's going on."  Ronnie, in denial: "Nothing's going on!  It's just one of those things."  Roy, exasperated: "Which things?  Which things?"  Ronnie, leaving the room: "I don't want to hear about this anymore."  Roy, following: "Ronnie, this is very important.  I'm not just going to let it lay here.  I'm gonna call somebody about this."  Ronnie, covering her ears: "I'm not listening.  I'm not listening.  I'm not listening."  Roy: "Ronnie, I saw something last night that I can't explain."  Ronnie, referring to Roy's odd behavior: "I saw something last night that I can't explain."  Roy, firmly: "I'm going out there again tonight, you know."  Ronnie: "No, you're not."  Roy: "Yes, I am."  Ronnie: "No, you're not."  Roy: "Yes, I am."  Ronnie, shoving Roy's shaving cream covered hand into his face: "No, you're not."

Major Benchley, of the Unites States Air Force, is speaking to the media and to a large group of concerned citizens who witnessed a U.F.O.  Benchley, holding up a large photo of a disc flying through the air: "Ladies and gentlemen...this is a flying saucer."  The crowd all begins to speak at once, one man's voice can clearly be heard above the rest: "That's the one I saw!  I swear that's the same one.  That's the one I saw."  Benchley, holding up a small disc: "It's made of pewter, made in Japan, and thrown across the lawn by one of my children."  After the annoyed mutters of the crowd subside, "I just wanted to point that out to you to show that we're not all 'polished brass' about these things.  And also to make a point that last year Americans shot more than seven billion photographs...at a record of $6.6 billion for film equipment and processing.  Now, with all of those shutters clicking where is the indisputable photographic evidence?"  After the insistent crowd continues muttering, "Now, there are all kinds of ideas that would be fun to believe in.  Mental telepathy...time travel...immortality...even Santa Claus.  Now, I know it's no fun to go home and say, 'Guess what happened today?  I was in the shopping center, there was this tremendously bright light, and I rushed outside...and it was an airplane.'"  Roy Neary, from amidst the crowd: "Excuse me, sir.  Uh, I didn't want to see this."  Benchley, firm in his unbelief: "I sure wish I had.  You know, for fifteen years I've been looking for these d--- silly lights in the night sky.  I've never found any.  I'd like to, because I believe in life elsewhere."  Man from crowd: "Why don't you guys just admit that the Air Force is conducting secret tests in the Foothills area?"  Benchley: "It would be easy to say yes to that.  But I'm not going to mislead you.  This is not the case.  To tell you the truth, I don't know what you saw."  Roy: "You can't fool us by agreeing with us."  The crowd briefly erupts again, but quiets down as a man begins describing an encounter he had with bigfoot.  (Caution: d-word used)

Roy Neary has had a strange encounter with a U.F.O. (see Scene # CV07650).  Since the incident he as been exhibiting very odd behavior.  As he and his family eat their dinner, Roy begins to pile an excessive amount of mashed potatoes on his plate.  Entranced, he begins to carefully sculpt the giant mound of potatoes with his fork, completely oblivious to his family's concern over his behavior.  Suddenly, he looks up and sees the worried expression on his wife's face.  Overcome with emotion, Roy covers his face with his hand and begins to sob.  Roy, as tears begin to streak down the face of his oldest son, Brad: "Well, I guess you've noticed...something is a little strange with Dad.  It's okay, though.  I'm still Dad.  I can't describe it, what I'm feeling and what I'm thinking."  Pointing to his mashed potatoes, "This means something.  This is important."  Unable to understand what her husband is going through, Ronnie Neary's expression slowly changes from concern to anger as she silently stares at her husband.

Roy Neary has had a strange encounter with a U.F.O. (see Scene # CV07650).  Since the incident he as been exhibiting very odd behavior (see previous Scene).  It is the middle of the night and Ronnie Neary has just woken up to the sounds of the shower running and her husband crying.  Ronnie, knocking on the bathroom door: "Roy?"  More firmly after finding the door to the bathroom locked, "Roy?"  Knocking again, "Open the door, please."  Growing more upset as she waits, "Please.  Roy?  Roy!"  Screaming as she frantically tries to open the door, "Open this DOOR!  Open this door!"  Furious, she grabs the bathroom key from a nearby drawer.  The commotion has awoken their young daughter, Silvia, who has come out to investigate.  When Ronnie is finally able to get the door open, she finds Roy sitting in the shower, fully clothed, covering his face with his hands.  Roy: "I don't think I know what's happening to me."  Ronnie, handing her husband a towel as she turns off the shower: "Look, Roy.  What it is, is family therapy.  I mean, we all go.  We all talk.  No one is singled out.  And maybe it's not your fault anyway."  Brad, their oldest son has awoken and come to investigate.  Roy, staring at his watch: "Oh!  It's waterproof.  It still works."  Ronnie, yelling, as she grabs the towel away: "ROY!  Promise me that you'll go!  Please!"  Brad, until this moment unnoticed by his parents, angrily confronting his father: "You crybaby!"  Yelling, as he slams the door against the wall over and over: "You crybaby!  You crybaby!  You crybaby!"  Ronnie, screaming at her son: "Get out of here!  Get out!"  Roy: "Come on, you guys."  Brad continues his tantrum for a short time and finally runs out of the room, passing his sister.  Silvia, yelling, hands over her ears: "Be quiet!"  Ronnie, still screaming as she and Roy exit the bathroom: "Stop it!  I don't understand what this is!"  Roy: "Neither do I."  Ronnie, yelling, pointing at her kids: "Get out!  Go to your room and close the door."  Roy, as he puts a bathrobe on over his soaked clothes: "Ronnie?  Ronnie?"   Ronnie: "Yes?"  Roy: "I'm really scared.  I want you to help me."   Ronnie, disgusted by her husband's weakness, as she backs away from him, smacking him: "No!  All this b---s---!  It's turning this house upside-down!  I just hate you, that's why!"  Roy, speaking calmly, trying to be near his wife: "Ronnie.  Ronnie.  Just hold me."  Ronnie, filled with contempt, struggling to get away: "NO!"  Roy, ignoring her protests: "Just put your arms around.  It will really help me.  It'll really help me.  Please."  Unnoticed by either parent, one of their children is madly smashing things in their room with a baseball bat, while Brad continues to watch his parents fight from his cracked bedroom door.  Ronnie, screaming, as Roy struggles to get her to embrace him: "Listen!  Listen!  Don't you see what's happening!?  None of our friends call us anymore!  You're out of work!  You don't care!"  Roy, still pleading for affection: "It's such a small thing."  Ronnie, shoving Roy away: "You're ruining us!  You're ruining us!"  Crawling over their bed, Ronnie escapes from her husband and locks herself in the bathroom.  Brad, with tear-stained cheeks, finally closes the door, tired of watching his father begging and pleading.  (Caution: bs-word used)
