ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A variety of couples' feet are shown romantically touching each other at an evening of fine dining. The last feet shown are Cal Weaver's - who is wearing white sneakers -  while sitting with his longtime wife and companion, Emily.  Cal complains of being too full and asks Emily if she wants to split a dessert - while she continues to quietly stare at her dessert menu.  He asks if she's all right.        Emily: "Yeah, I'm just trying to think about what I want."         Cal: "Yeah, me too.  Why don't we just say it at the same time?  One, two, three..."      But while Cal says Creme brulee... Emily says divorce.

After telling her husband Cal she wants a divorce while out at dinner, Emily continues driving the couple home in their car...      Emily: "Okay, you're not talking, and you know that only makes me talk more.  But maybe that's good, you know?  Because maybe I'll just say it.  Maybe... Maybe I'll just tell you I slept with someone," but Cal still sits shocked and gives no response.      "David Lindhagen. From work.  You met him at the Christmas party..."      Cal: "Please stop."       Emily: "The last person in the world I'd wanna hurt is you..."       Cal: "If you keep talking, I'm gonna get out..."       Emily (ignoring him): "I think the fact that I did it, it just shows how broken we are..."         Cal: "Okay," as he unfastens his seatbelt, opens his door and rolls out onto the neighborhood pavement.         Emily: "Oh, my God!  Cal!"        She screeches the car to a halt and runs to her crumpled husband.       Emily: "Are you okay?!"        Cal (gathering himself): "I'll leave tonight.  I'll sign whatever you want.  Just please stop talking about it."

A few days after Cal's wife asks for a divorce, he is approached at the office by his boss - who hangs around his cubicle longer than normal...        Cal: "Who told you that Emily and I are getting divorced?"         Boss: "You're getting a divorce?"         Cal: "Yeah."         Boss (relieved and chuckling): "Amy heard you crying in the bathroom.  We all thought it was cancer."       Cal: "Ohhhhhh...."       Boss: "Thank God, man.  Ha-ha-ha..."      Cal: "Yeah, just my relationship," as both laugh.        Cal: "Thank God!  Divorce..."         Cal: "I'm so lucky."      Boss: "You are."         Cal (who gets up to leave): "I have to go pick out furniture now."       Boss: "Okay, okay.  You go for it," as he claps and laughs, then calls out after Cal, "It could have been cancer, buddy!"    Then the boss says to everyone on the cubicle-riddled floor, "Hey, everyone: it's just a divorce!"       All cheer and applaud as Cal mopes toward the door, "Thanks, feels good."

A few days after Cal's wife asks for a divorce, he is joined in a bar by his longtime friend Bernie.  Bernie is carrying a Macy's bag and nervously sits down beside his friend.      Cal: "I don't know.  I don't know what happened.  Tough couple of days," as Bernie orders a glass of wine and quickly chugs it.        Cal, continuing: "You know when you don't see something coming..."       Bernie, interrupting: "Claire said I can't be friends with you anymore."       Cal: "What?"       Bernie: "She said we had to choose between you and Emily.  I-chose-YOU.  but she said no," setting the bag next to Cal, "It's cologne," as he gets up to leave.       Cal: "Bernie?   Are you breaking up with me, Bernie?"     Bernie: "There's a gift receipt in there, also."       Cal calling out: "Bernie?  Bernie.  Bernie!"

Cal meets a GQ player at a bar who feels sorry for the middle-aged man and offers to help him through a "makeover."  Meeting Jacob at a mall, the well-heeled friend immediately tosses Cal's New Balance sneakers over the railing, shocking Cal.      Jacob: "Are you in a fraternity?  ...Are you Steve Jobs?  Are you the billionaire owner of Apple Computers?"       Cal: "No."       Jacob: "Oh, okay.  Well, in that case, you got no right to wear New Balance sneakers, EVER."       Jacob (with Cal trailing): "One of the best parts about being a guy your age - frankly, there aren't many, so you should really take full advantage of it - is that you can rebuild your entire wardrobe with, like, 16 items," as he holds out his hand, "Credit card."     Cal rips open his Velcro wallet to Jacob's chagrin.  The power-shopping flurry is on!

While hanging out at his mom's office after school, 13-year-old Robbie meets "the other man..."          Emily (leaving her office): "Oh.  Uh, David, this is my son, Robbie.  Robbie, this is David.  Um, we work together."      David: "How you doing, buddy?"       But Robbie just stares at the man and shakes his head.       David: "So, Robbie, I hear you're quite the soccer player."       Robbie (after lifting his office chair over the sitting man): "So, David, I hear you broke up my parents' marriage.  You ARE David Lindhagen (mispronouncing it), right?"       After David pronounces his last name correctly, Robbie continues: "Yeah.  Here's the thing, Lindhagen (mispronouncing it again), in the end, she winds up back with my dad.  He's a better guy than you are in every category.  And she still loves him.  He's not gonna give up on my mom, just like I'm not gonna stop sending Jessica text messages that make her feel uncomfortable (an older teen he texts "I love you" to)."         Emily, returning (to Robbie): "Hey!  You ready to go, honey?"     Before leaving, Robbie sets a picture of his parents on the desk facing David.

Robbie visits his dad's apartment and plays catch with him (the parents are separated, with divorce hanging in the air, due to Mom's adultery)...       Dad: "What's with all the moping?"       Robbie: "Uh, nothing.  It's just... There's a girl."      Dad: "A girl, uh. You like her?"       Robbie: "I LIKE Pringles.  I mean, THIS girl... she's incredible.  She's my soul mate, you know?  She doesn't even care."       Dad: "But she's your soul mate, right?"       Robbie: "Yeah."      Dad: "Well, you just don't give up on her, right?"       Robbie: "Why not?  You did."       Dad (taking the hit): "I didn't give up.  Okay, it's more complicated than that.  I'm a different guy now."        Robbie: "You're not a different guy.  You just have different clothes."       Dad: "It's not that simple, kiddo..."      Robbie: "What kind of crap is that?"       Dad: "Watch it..."       Robbie: "Either you love her or you don't.  I know you do.  I'm serious, Dad.  I just need some inspiration right now.  All right?  Go get her back."        Dad (breaking into a big smile): "Wow... How old are you?"        13-year-old Robbie just smiles broadly.

The stunningly beautiful Hannah - studying to be an attorney - attends a restaurant with friends and associates for drinks in her honor.  Her boyfriend Richard - a caddish and nerdy partner at his firm - is responsible for the dinner, and a certain "surprise" for Hannah.  She's hoping for a proposal of marriage...      Richard: "Now, Hannah, I did tell you that tonight would be a special night if you passed the bar.  So, Hannah, I would like to formally ask you... in front of all our friends and colleagues... if you, would like to become...  a permanent... lawyer at the firm... of Watkins, Goldberg and Schmidt!?  Huh?" as all clap, "How 'bout that?  Ha, ha! To you (raising his glass)."         Disappointed and stunned, she just stares back at him.     Richard: "What?  Well, what is it?"       Hannah (whispering in his ear): "I thought that you were gonna propose for some reason."     Both chuckle.  Richard: "What?"       Hannah: "Yeah, I know.  It's just, uh, I'm a little thrown."       Richard: "I'm sorry.  I didn't realize that you thought that we were there."       Hannah: "Oh, no.  God, no.  Don't be silly.  I just..."        Richard (talking very Captain Kirk-ish): "I-need-some.... time, I think... to.... figure out how... I feel about us, you know?" as he flies his hand over their heads, "Brrp!  Long-term."         Hannah (looking aghast into his eyes): "You need some time?  YOU need some time to figure out how you feel about us?  Okay," as she starts to laugh.       Richard: "Honey?"        Hannah starts to laugh hysterically...

(Best scene)    Though he and his wife Emily are currently separated (but still deeply in love and would secretly like to get back together), Cal has been sneaking into her backyard at night to quietly keep up on the landscaping duties.  One night after finishing up, Cal sees Emily serve their two children ice-cream while she sneaks away to the study to make a phone call.  He watches the family scene through the windows, obviously yearning to be inside as a whole family again.  But to his surprise, Emily is calling HIM!  He quickly tries to answer his cell phone quietly and duck further out of sight...     Cal: "Hello?"     Emily: "Hi, Cal. ...Um, so... I'm just calling, um... because I'm in the basement, and I'm trying to get the water heater working, um, because the pilot light's out and I don't know how to relight it.  So, I'm sorry to bother you..."        Cal (while secretly staring at her standing in the study through the window): "No, no.  It's fine.  That's fine.  Call me... I'm glad you called about this.  I'll just walk you through it, okay?"       Emily: "Okay."      He walks her through the process as she pauses from time to time to make her story believable.       Emily (getting teary-eyed): "Well, thanks Cal, I appreciate your help."       Cal: "Oh, you know what?  Just call anytime with stuff like that.  That's..."       Emily: "Oh, yeah.  Uh... yeah, sure."       Cal: "So, I'll talk to you soon."       Emily: "Yeah, and um, thanks again."       Cal: "No, that's.... My pleasure.  Don't want you to blow up the house," as both chuckle.   (Caution: S-word whispered quickly)

Cal sits depressed at his favorite bar in the afternoon, a few days after an ugly scene when he demanded that his 25-year-old daughter, Hannah, breakup with Jacob - whom Cal finds out is Hannah's new boyfriend.  (Jacob is a slick womanizing player whom Cal met at the bar and became close friends with weeks before, when Jacob actually took Cal under his wing, gave him a makeover, and showed him how to pick up women during Cal's current estrangement from his wife.)   After Jacob enters the bar and receives a mockingly cold reception from Cal, he is eventually allowed to sit...       Jacob: "It would mean a lot to me if we could talk."      Cal: "Are you still seeing my daughter?"       Jacob (hesitantly): "Yes."       Cal: "Then I have nothing to say to you."       Jacob: "Been hanging out here a lot?"         Cal: "Sometimes."         Jacob: "You been missing a lot of work?"        Cal: "I have a lot of vacation days.  You know what?  You have a lot of nerve," as the bartender interrupts and brings Cal a shot.     Jacob: "Do you wanna do your shot?"       Cal: "She probably spit in it, so, no - thank you."       After talking about Cal's other two smaller children who miss him - angering Cal on Jacob's misguided "parental advice" - Jacob comes out with it...        "I'm in love with her.  I love her," as Cal clinches his jaw and solemnly looks Jacob in the eyes.      Jacob: "I don't know what I was doing before this.  And I don't know what to do about it.  It's not something I can really stop."      Cal: "Yeah?  You love Hannah?  Tell me about it.  Tell me how much you love her."         Jacob: "I'm just... Look, Cal, it's not something that I wanted, okay?  I looked at people who were in love, and I thought the way that they were behaving, and the things that they were doing and saying, they just, they appeared pathetic, honestly.  And I spent all this time with you (the weeks before), I'm trying to make you more like me, and it turns out, I just wanna be... (sighs) I need that drink.  You gonna make me do this?  I gotta really do this?"       Cal: "I had Hannah when I was 17.  I taught her how to ride a bike.  I taught her how to drive a car.  And... I'm glad for you.   I'm happy for you, that you've changed.  I think it's fantastic that you're a better man.  But I've seen too much already," as Jacob starts to object, Cal continues, "No.  I know.  I know too much."      Jacob: "I know.  I know."          Cal: "And it's Hannah.  And she's too good for you."        Jacob: "I agree."        Cal: "I'm never gonna give you my approval."          Jacob, after nodding, smiling and getting up to leave: "You're a good dad, Cal."

While Cal and his wife Emily are currently separated (though still deeply in love and would secretly like to get back together), the whole family attends their son Robbie's Junior High graduation (with Cal sitting off by himself).  During Robbie's student speech, he begins denouncing true love (since being rejected by his 17-year-old babysitter, who's in attendance), which causes Cal to jump to the microphone and take over...             "Well, here's the thing: My son's graduation speech sucks.  That's not a joke.  In fairness, I didn't know where he was going with that.  But I think we can all agree, it was headed in a kind of depressing, um, way.  My son - not him, my actual son (sarcasm) - believes in grand romantic gestures.  He believes in the existence of one's soul mate.  And it's easy to just look at a 13-year-old and say: 'You don't know what you're talking about.  You are wrong.'  But I'm not so sure.  I met my soul mate when I was 15 years old (referring to his wife in the front row getting misty-eyed).  We went out for ice cream.  After, my dad started teasing me about my first date, the way dads do.  And I told him, 'Dad, it's no big deal. I'm gonna be going out with a lot of different girls on a lot of different dates.'  And that is the first time that I ever lied to my father.  I met my soul mate when I was 15 years old," staring at Emily, "and I have loved her every minute of every day, since I first bought her that mint chocolate chip cone.  I have loved her through the birth of my three perfect children.  I have loved her even when I've hated her.  Only married couples will understand that one.  And I don't know if it's gonna work out.  I don't know what's gonna happen," as he turns to his son, "I'm sorry, Robbie, I can't give you that.  But I can promise you this: I will never stop trying.  Because when you find the one, you never give up."         Cal turns to his son, again: "Do you have anything you'd like to say?"          Robbie, loudly in microphone: "I still love you, Jessica!" as the audience laughs and cheers.        Cal, also grabbing mic, to his wife: "And I love you, Emily!"      (Caution: obscene finger gesture just BEFORE scene starts)
