ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Two uniformed guards lead a group of seven children down a sterile, white hallway.  Suddenly, a voice over a walkie-talkie warns the guards of a fight in the cafeteria.  Immediately, the children sit on the floor against the wall, their hands in the air.  The guard yells at them to keep their hands in the air and stands watching to see that they do.  A third guard comes running down the hallway and out the locked door into the cafeteria.  There, a riot has broken out among the young inmates of juvenile hall.  Boys cheer while guards try to break up a vicious fist fight between two of the children.  Finally, they succeed in pulling the boys apart and dragging them off to isolation.  Later, Mary Anne has come to see Adonis, one of the boys in the fight.  A social worker leads her to the isolation wing, explaining that there was a fight.  Worker: "He's a good kid.  He just...(fights)...all the time."  Mary Anne walks down another sterile hallway reminiscent of an animal pound.  Locked doors line the hallway and each door possesses a small rectangular window.  At each window, a young, sad face looks out at Mary Anne.

Adonis, angry that his cousin, Duke, has refused to train him, has challenged anyone in the gym to fight for his Mustang.  Hopping into the ring, he ignores the advice of Duke and refuses to put on head gear.  Facing down the number-six-ranked light-weight boxer, Adonis quickly knocks him down.  Unfortunately, this only feeds his ego.  Strutting and yelling, he again throws out a blanket challenge.  Wheeler, the number-two boxer in the world, steps up.  Adonis, sobered by the reputation of his new challenger, at last dons head gear.  However, Wheeler quickly makes a meal of him.  Lying on his face on the mat, Adonis hears Duke's words in his ears: "I tried to tell you something, bro.  You don't wanna listen.  You don't wanna listen.  You wanna learn things the hard way, huh?"  Gasping for breath, Adonis lies on the mat like a floundering fish.

Rocky has come to the gym reluctantly, having decided to train Adonis.  Taking the young man aside, he makes his conditions clear:  "Your father was special.  To tell you the truth, I don't know if you're special.  It ain't gonna come overnight.  You're gonna take a beating.  You're gonna take this, you're gonna get knocked down, you're gonna get up, and you're gonna see if you got the right thing.  But...you gotta work hard.  I swear to God, if you're not gonna do it, I'm out."  Adonis, determined to succeed, promises to work hard.  Later, the two men begin to train.  From early morning until late at night, all over the city, they train.  Adonis runs, punches bags, jumps rope, and even chases chickens.  All through the struggle, Rocky is there, pushing him on.  Finally, at the end of a long, hard day, a bell dings in the gym.  Adonis stops jumping and bends over, gasping for air.  Rocky, looking up from his newspaper: "That bell don't mean school's out, Donnie.  Keep going.  That bell means h--l."  Adonis picks up his jump rope and continues.

Adonis has just told Bianca that he doesn't want to take on his famous father's last name.  Bianca: "So, what are you afraid of?"  Adonis: "I'm afraid of taking on the name and losing.  They'll call me a fraud.  Fake Creed."  Bianca shifts to look him straight in the eye: "Why don't you think about what's true?  You love to fight, right?  Yeah, it makes you happy, right?  Yeah, and you are Apollo Creed's son, right?"  Adonis: "Yes."  Bianca: "So, then, use the name."  (Caution: the couple is sitting in bed, braiding Bianca's hair, and nudity is implied, although not shown)

Adonis is sitting alone on a sidewalk in a decrepit part of town.  Silently ruminating over his troubles, he looks up when a friendly boy on a bike approaches: "N----r, what's up?"  Adonis returns the greeting: "What's up?"  Boy: "I heard you Apollo Creed's son?"  Adonis, who struggles to find his own identity, looks down before nodding: "Yeah."  The boy smiles.  That's all he needs to know: "That's what's up."  He rides away.  Adonis sits there, thinking.  A slow smile spreads over his face.  He is Apollo Creed's son.  (Caution: n-word used quietly)

Adonis has come to Rocky's house to beg him to start chemotherapy.  (The aged trainer has decided to die rather than fight a possibly losing battle.)  Adonis, referring to cancer: "Just like any other fight."  Rocky, having watched his wife die of cancer, is reluctant to suffer as she did.  Adonis is determined to see his friend and mentor survive: "I don't care.  I ain't training if you don't get the treatment.  If I fight, you fight."  Slowly, Rocky puts out a hand for a fist-bump.  Later, the two are at the hospital, beginning treatment.  They begin fighting their battles together.  While Rocky sits in a chair receiving an IV drip, Adonis does pushups on the hospital floor.  Just as Rocky motivates Adonis to achieve physical goals, Adonis motivates Rocky to eat, take his medicine, and rest.  Adonis shadow-boxes around nurses at the hospital.  A weak Rocky attends what practices he can in the gym.  Adonis helps Rocky to bed and sits next to him as he sleeps.  Side-by-side, each man fights his own battle and helps the other to fight his.

Adonis and Canlon are about to hold a press conference to promote their upcoming fight.  Adonis sits at a table, waiting for his opponent to arrive.  Rocky leans in close, warning him not to get riled by Canlon's famous temper: "The fight starts in about two minutes.  As soon as he shows up, he's gonna start on you."  Just then, the crowd cheers as Canlon arrives.  As he walks toward his seat, Canlon doesn't take his angry eyes off Adonis.  Rocky, seeing the challenge in the man's eyes: "Don't let him get to you."  The first question asked is directed at Canlon, who jokingly fends off comments about his anger problem.  However, when the spotlight turns onto Adonis, Canlon immediately draws it back to himself, interrupting Adonis as he tries to answer.  He begins throwing out insults.  Adonis stares at the man, who looks at him almost with eyes of hate.  A reporter turns another question to Adonis and, again, Canlon interrupts with insults.  Adonis: "I've been working on trying to build my own legacy - -"  Canlon: "Legacy!  Are we at some kind of comedy club?"  Seeing that Adonis is beginning to get angry, Rocky leans in: "Don't fall for him."  Canlon keeps insulting Adonis and the press eats it up.  Finally, Adonis can take no more.  He stands up, returning insult for insult.  The men dive at each other and are only stopped from beginning their match right there from the restraining arms of the people around them.  (Caution: d-word used, b-word used, a-word used)

It is the third round of the fight, and Adonis has surprised everyone by standing up to the champion.  Once again, the bell rings and the two face-off.  They trade punches, their coaches screaming from the sidelines.  Rocky: "One punch at a time!"  Another round ends and a dazed Adonis staggers to the wrong corner.  Rocky counsels perseverance: "One step.  One punch."  Adonis: "One round at a time."  He returns to the ring, battling it out over several more rounds.  It's now round seven and the announcers express the surprise everyone feels: "Most critics didn't think Creed could make it this far."  Both men push through the pain to fight another round.  Rocky tells Adonis the real battle is inside himself: "It's you against you."  Adonis returns to the ring.  Now the suffering of the sport is made more clear with a series of close-up, slow-motion scenes.  Adonis punches Canlon in the face.  The dull thump of fist against bone is followed by a stream of bloody saliva shooting out of Canlon's mouth.  On the side of the ring, medical support prepares supplies.  Blood spatters on the clothes of close onlookers.  The ice in a cold pack makes a crunching sound.  The sounds of punches landing and men grunting is accompanied by a close-up view of a ring rope being painted by blood.  The floor of the ring is decorated by the same blood paint.  Even the bell sits in a ring of blood.  Rocky's words are slow in Adonis's head: "Bring back everything that's ever hurt you, all that pain you have inside, everything that held you back.  Put it in both fists...and I promise you, he will fall."  (Caution: violent scene, h-word used)

Adonis has almost made it to the final round in his first professional boxing match.  He sits in his corner, his attendants ministering to his numerous wounds.  His eye completely swollen shut, the referee has just called for a doctor to evaluate him.  During the break, Rocky tells his protege that he's calling off the fight.  Adonis: "No!"  Adonis fakes his way through the doctor's test and is declared fit to fight, but Rocky still has reservations.  Rocky: "I should have stopped this fight with your father.  I'm stopping this one now."  Adonis, sweating and bleeding: "Don't!  Let me finish!  I gotta prove it."  Rocky: "Prove what?"  Adonis: "I'm not a mistake."  Rocky, moved, agrees to fight cancer if Adonis will fight his battle.  The famous Rocky theme song begins to play in the background as Adonis returns to the fight, motivated and energized to continue, despite his wounds.  Meanwhile, the announcers are praising Adonis, amazed that the underdog has made it so far in the fight.  The two men spend the last three minutes of the fight boldly trading shots.  Finally, Adonis knocks Canlon down.  Amazed announcer: "That is the first time in his career he's been on the canvas!"  Canlon does eventually rise (and wins the championship), but Adonis celebrates a victory of perseverance.  Announcer: "He's no longer just the namesake of Apollo Creed, he's the living embodiment."  (Caution: b-word used twice)
