ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

In 1965, Mossad agent Rachel Singer rendezvous in East Berlin with fellow agents David Peretz and Stefan Gold to start their mission to capture a Nazi war criminal and bring him to Israel.  Team leader Stefan has them sparring to sharpen their skills. Both men are a little suspicious of Rachel's toughness after learning she's an interpreter and this being her first field assignment.  But after whooping up on both men, especially giving an extra twist of pain to Stefan, David smiles and says: "Welcome to the mission."

Executing their plan to capture Nazi war criminal Dieter Vogel -- infamously known as "The Surgeon of Birkenau" for his horrific medical experiments on Jews during World War II -- Mossad agents Rachel, Stefan and David work quickly as a team.  After Rachel drugs the doctor in his office and has the nurse call for an ambulance, Stefan is ready with a tapped line and hears the call as well.  As the real ambulance speeds on its way from across town, the agents are ready with their OWN ambulance and uniforms, arrive earlier, and haul the monstrous man away... just moments before the legitimate ambulance arrives.

After capturing Dieter Vogel, "The Surgeon of Birkenau," and blowing their chance at the border to escape back to West Berlin, the agents hold the Nazi war criminal in their apartment and plan a new extraction. They take turns monitoring the doctor, who attempts to psychologically intimidate them to gain an advantage. During one of Rachel's shifts while shaving him with a straight-razor, Vogel tempts her to kill him -- knowing they are only keeping him alive long enough to stand trial in Israel.      Rachel doesn't respond, but when she pauses with the razor and stares at the only place left to shave -- his neck -- he entices her again...         Vogel: "Yes... Do it.  You want to do it...  Do it," as he looks away and offers his neck.  After pausing for a few seconds, Rachel gathers herself and gently continues to finish his shave while tears form in her eyes.       Vogel: "That's right.  I'd forgotten.  You Jews never knew how to kill," as tears stream down the woman's cheeks, "Only how to die."

Still holding the Nazi criminal Vogel at their apartment (see previous scenes for back-story), it is David's turn to watch and feed the doctor -- who continues to try and psychologically intimidate his captors...      Vogel: "Whereas you, David, I see you with children."       David: "Shut up."             Vogel: "I'm expressing my sympathy for your sufferings."        David: "What does a monster like you know about suffering?"        Vogel: "I'm a doctor, David."         David (emotionally and on the verge of tears): "You blind children trying to change the color of their eyes.  You inject people with petrol.  You replace hands and legs and you watch as they... This isn't medicine.  This is sickness.  This is disease."      Vogel: "So we were all insane?  Is that the answer?"       David: "There is no answer.  I'm not looking for an answer.  I'm not looking to...", as he controls his emotions and offers the doctor another bite.        Vogel: "You're trembling.  I think YOU'RE the one that is afraid, David.  Afraid of the monster," leaning in, "Boo!"        Vogel (laughing): "Why do you think it was so easy to exterminate you people?  Your weakness.  I saw it.  Every day I saw it.  Every one of them thinking only of how to avoid being flogged, or kicked or killed.  Every one thinking only of themselves.  Why do you think it only took four soldiers to lead a thousand people to the gas chambers?  Because not one out of thousands had the courage to resist.  Not one would sacrifice himself.  Not even when we took their children away.  So I knew then that you people had no right to live!  You had no right..."   But the good doctor is interrupted when David smashes the bowl into the monster's face.

After 15 years of searching and finally finding the Nazi war criminal Dieter Vogel and sending three Mossad agents into East Germany to capture and detain him -- the monster uses a piece of broken glass to cut his ropes, beat up Rachel, and get away (see previous scenes)...         Stephan: "Wonderful.  Don't try and take me down with you.  I've done nothing wrong!  Remember that.  This can't happen!  This is never going to go away!"        Rachel: "It was my fault.  It was my shift."         David: "This happened because of me (see previous scene).  I let him go.  And no one's ever going to find him again."         Stephan: "No one's ever going to find him again," as he pauses with an epiphany, "What if he didn't escape?"      Rachel: "What are you talking about?"       Stephan: "Only four people know what happened in this room, us and him, and he's not talking.  No one will ever hear from him again."        Rachel: "No."       Stephan: "Nobody needs to know what happened."      Rachel: "He escaped..."     Stephan: "That's the truth.  But that doesn't have to be the truth we take home.  The truth can be anything we want it to be.  The truth is, Vogel tried to escape.  You struggled with him and got hurt.  The truth is, seconds before he got away, Rachel got the gun and shot him.  The truth is, we got rid of him.  Got rid of the body.  Got rid of every trace of "The Surgeon of Birkenau."        Rachel: "We can't lie about this..."      Stephan: "No, you know what?  We have to.  We have to!  This isn't about us.  This is about Israel.  This is a national humiliation!  We can't be seen to fail!  And in the end, Vogel rots away his life in some jungle, always looking over his shoulder, waiting for a bullet.  Who's to say?  Maybe that's a worse fate.  Maybe that's...  The important thing is justice.  Justice is seen to be done."         David: "He's gone.  What does it matter?  He's gone."      Stephan: "He's right!  It makes no difference.  No difference!  All we have to agree is that we never talk about this.  No matter what happens, we never tell anyone.  The truth stays in this room, between us.  Agreed?" looking intently at them, "Say it.  I need to hear you say it..."        David (dropping his head): "Agreed."       Rachel: "David..."        Stephan: "Rachel, say it.  It's an oath.  Say it.  Say it..."       She eventually does.
