ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Rob is addressing his latest group of clients before they begin preparations to climb Mt. Everest.  He looks around the eager group and asks them why the sales brochure doesn't describe the experience of the climb.  Rob, answering his own question: "Because it's mostly just pain."  To illustrate his point, Rob points to Mike, who shows what remains of his toes after a bout with frostbite on the mountain.  The audience is instantly sobered by the sight.  Rob, drawing their attention to a map of the mountain: "Human beings simply aren't built to function at the cruising altitude of a 747.  Once we get above here - - above the South Col - - our bodies will be literally dying.  And I mean literally dying.  It's not called the Death Zone for nothing.  So, the game is, can we get you up to the top and down to the bottom before that happens?"

Rob introduces the team doctor, Carolyn, to the rest of the group.  Wanting to give the climbers a perspective on the difficulties they are about to face, Carolyn addresses some of the challenges of the climb.  Carolyn: "To give you the best chance of summiting, you need to prepare your bodies for the thin air up there."  Carolyn tells the group that, to train for the climb, they will make three shorter journeys up the mountain over the next few weeks.  Rob takes over the conversation, telling of the dangers of the Icefall.  Rob: "There is no way around it.  There are millions of tons of glacial ice continually moving, day and night.  You got seracs the size of tower blocks, you got crevasses so deep they probably don't even have a bottom.  It is not a place that you want to get caught hanging out in."  Soberly, Rob reminds them that 19 people have died in this area of the mountain alone.  Carolyn then warns the climbers of other health challenges that may occur, such as hypothermia, cerebral edema, and pulmonary edema.  A group of climbers is seen walking past the frozen body of a climber claimed by the trials of the mountain.  Another climber is seen coughing up blood.

The climbers have arrived at a deep crevasse and must cross the black pit by walking across a thin, metal ladder.  The ladder has been laid like a bridge over the gap, with ropes for a bannister.  But the metal rungs are thin and make the journey across the crevasse a shaky one.  It's Beck's turn to cross.  Gingerly maneuvering his crampon-tipped shoes from rung to rung, Beck looks across the divide where Mike is waiting.  He looks down, seeing the blackness below.  Mike: "Head up, Mate!  Head up!"  Beck, fearful, continues to look down as he slowly moves forward.  Suddenly, the wall of ice and snow beside them collapses.  The avalanche doesn't hit the bridge, but fear and panic cause Beck to fall.  He hangs precariously onto the flimsy ladder until Rob is able to come out and help him.  Beck, terrified: "I can't pull myself up!  I can't pull myself up!"  Calmly, Rob helps the man back onto the ladder.

Inside the mess tent, Rob has just learned that his wife is having a baby girl.  As the other climbers congratulate him, one asks if his wife minds that he climbs Mt. Everest.  This leads the group to laugh jokingly about their wives' feelings on the subject.  Jon, a reporter, genuinely wants to know what motivates the seasoned climbers to risk their lives challenging the mountain.  Jon: "It hurts, it's dangerous, it destroys relationships, it's costing you all a small fortune.  I gotta ask the question...why?"  The climbers initially treat his question as a joke, but Jon presses them for a deeper answer.  Yasuko tries to answer, telling Jon that she has climbed six of the seven summits and feels she has to finish the seventh.  But Jon isn't satisfied, wondering why she would even climb in the first place.  When no one else offers a reason, Jon asks Doug.  Somewhat embarrassed, Doug (a mailman working three jobs to afford the climb) tells Jon that he has been mentoring a group of elementary school kids.  The kids helped him raise the money to climb and have given him a flag to plant on the summit.  Doug: "They see a regular guy can, you know, follow impossible dreams.  Maybe they'll be inspired to do the same, I guess."

Beck and Doug are sitting in a tent high on the mountain.  The fierce wind blows snow at their flimsy shelter, and the men are freezing cold.  Breathing in the thin air is difficult and Beck is taking a few rejuvenating puffs from an oxygen tank.  Beck, somewhat jokingly: "Why do we do this to ourselves?"  Doug chuckles.  Suddenly, Beck turns serious.  He gives the real reason why he climbs mountains: "When I'm at home, I just got this big, black cloud following me.  You know, like a depression.  When I'm out here, on the mountain, any mountain, it's just like it's a cure.  I feel like I'm reborn."  Doug: "So, you're happy now?"  Beck admits he can't claim happiness in the present moment.  The current suffering is too great.  Doug, smiling: "Suffer a few more days, the rest of your life you'll be the guy that got to the top of Everest."

It has been a difficult journey up Mt. Everest.  A row of climbers, roped together, carefully moves up the final stage toward the summit.  At last, Toli arrives on top and raises both arms in the air in a victory cheer.  Harold and Jon are quick to join him and the climbers embrace joyfully.  Jon: "We did it!"  They take deep breaths, looking all around them at the view.  And, it is staggering.  The camera pans back to show the sharp ledge of ice the climbers have had to cross to reach the top.  A line of climbers are still there, soon to join the rest at the summit.  When they all arrive, they collapse in relief and joy, planting flags and saying prayers of heartfelt thankfulness.

Doug and Rob are just below the summit of Mt. Everest when a terrible storm rolls in.  Rob has just enough time to shout for Doug to hurry up before the icy wind strikes him full force.  The view that was clear only moments before is now black and thick with snow.  Rob, knowing that Doug is in bad shape, decides to leave him to go get more oxygen tanks.  Doug sits on a narrow ledge, gasping for air.  Rob: "You've got to stay here!  Okay?  Don't move!  Stay here!  I'll be back!"  Rob turns away and begins to move along the narrow ledge.  While Rob's back is turned and the wind muffles his ears, Doug has stood up and begun to follow.  He grabs his carabiner and clips it, believing that he has attached himself to the rope.  In reality, he is attached to nothing.  Doug, delirious from hypothermia, takes a few shaky steps, continually trying and failing to grab a hold of the ropes.  Suddenly, Doug falls, never to be seen again.  Rob, reaching the end of the ledge, turns around and looks back.  He sees that Doug is gone.

A fierce storm has attacked the mountain.  Harold and Rob are trapped just beneath the summit.  Huddled together for warmth, the two men sit on a narrow ledge, waiting for help to arrive.  They both have fallen asleep.  Rob, delirious from hypothermia, partially awakens.  He takes off his cap, groaning aloud: "Hot.  Burning up!"  He unzips his jacket and throws it away.  He begins to take off his scarf, but the effort throws him off-balance and he falls off the ledge.  Rob, still asleep, is unaware that he is now by himself on the mountain.

After a night on the mountain during a fierce storm, Rob is almost frozen solid.  He radios base camp, his voice cracked and weak: "I can't move."  Those at camp know Rob must keep moving in order to survive.  They can't send anyone high enough to reach him in the storm and he won't survive another night.  Guy: "You gotta keep on moving!"  Rob: "My hands.  I can't feel my hands.  They're frozen."  Trying to get Rob to think positively, Guy reminds him that the sun will be up soon and he will be warmer.  Guy: "Rob, you gotta get yourself down.  You can do this."  Guy and Helen can tell that Rob doesn't believe he can make it on his own.  Suddenly, Guy has the idea to get Jan's wife on the phone: "Let's just try it.  If anyone can motivate him to move, then Jan will."  Jan, on the phone, repeats the order to move that the others have given, but Rob appears hopeless.  Jan tells him that help is coming, but he must help himself.  Jan: "You do it!  Do it right now!"  Rob: "I love you.  Over and out."  Wheezing, Rob begins to drag his frozen body up the cliff.

Beck has been out on the mountain overnight.  The new day has dawned and the sun is shining once more.  With a gasp, Beck opens his frozen eyelids.  In his mind's eye, he sees his wife, smiling down on him.  Gathering his feeble strength, he claws at the ice with severely frost-bitten hands, trying desperately to rise.  He closes his eyes briefly, seeing his son and daughter playing in a field.  Gasping, he pushes himself to sit, again seeing his wife beckoning to him.  He sees her cheering him on: "Come on!  Come on!"  Beck stands, and now his children are cheering.  Through blurred, tired eyes, he sees his fellow climber, frozen dead in the snow.  Staggering, with every step a monumental effort, he makes his way slowly to base camp.
