ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Fireman Frank Sullivan has just arrived on the scene of a disaster.  A load of giant metal pipes have spilled onto the road -- causing a tanker truck to jackknife and overturn -- trapping several workers in an underground substation.  Frank runs up to the fire commander and hears him say that a single spark could cause the entire block to go up in flames.  (Gas is flowing in the underground chamber and electrical wiring has been damaged by the accident.)  A dike on scene is about to burst and the only way into the substation below is through a manhole cover.  Frank immediately runs toward the manhole with the commander yelling after him: "Forget it, Sullivan.  The vault door's rusted shut and they can't kill the juice.  Frank, you're not going to make it!  There's not enough time!"  Frank turns around, jokingly: "What?  Miss the World Series?  Not a chance.  Gimme my tools."  Frank descends the manhole and looks down a long, dark tunnel underground.  Commander, over his radio: "The gasoline is rising in the vault.  Those downed cables hit that gas, it's gonna blow."  Frank turns around to cheer Gib, the new fire recruit, who decided to follow him on this dangerous mission.  Frank and Gib run down the tunnel to the rusted vault door.  Frank, pounding on the door: "Hey, guys!  Can you hear me?"  Muffled voices from inside the vault cry out for help.  Frank and Gib begin to carefully pry open the door, trying to use force without creating sparks that would set off an explosion.  The commander radios Frank, telling him to get out of the tunnel because it's too dangerous.  Frank, refusing to abandon the trapped men, continues working on the door without hesitation.  Finally, the men are able to pry open the door.  Water and gas rush out at them as they walk inside the vault.  Exposed cables on the ceiling spark threateningly, some dangling low over the gas.  One of the cables detaches from the ceiling as, above ground, the dike begins to break.  Frank and Gib support one of the men whose leg is broken, and the four run down the tunnel toward the manhole.  The uninjured man escapes first, climbing up the ladder to the surface.  Gib and Frank support the injured man and Gib follows quickly after.  Frank is the last to ascend the ladder, climbing the first few rungs just as the cables touch the gasoline and the tanker explodes.  Frank pauses for an instant, seeing flames rushing toward him from the vault.  His eyes widen and he races up the ladder.  He reaches the top, pulling his legs over the rim while the flames surge up the ladder itself.  On the surface, Frank pulls himself to a standing position, just clear of the manhole, as a huge plume of fire shoots out, coming within inches of his body.  (Caution: "d--n" used once as profanity; "hell" used once as profanity)

Frank Sullivan, just home from work, hears his wife shout in the kitchen.  Frank, concerned: "You all right?"  Julia: "Yeah.  I think I ruined the sauce.  Again."  Frank, jokingly: "What's the matter, Bud?  You havin' trouble working an eight-hour shift at the hospital, watchin' the kid, whippin' up a little Bolognese?"  Julia, smiling: "You didn't marry Donna Reed."  Frank, walking into the kitchen to face his wife: "Hey!  I'd go for you and Chinese takeout over her any day."  Frank takes off his hat and breaks into song: ? "Because I love you too much, Baby." ? Frank takes his wife in his arms and they begin dancing to the music on the record player.  They dance together while talking about Frank's day at work.  John, their six-year-old little boy, has been playing outside with his friend, Gordo.  John walks up to the kitchen door and sees his parents dancing - - they are smiling and holding each other close.  John, smiling, calls Gordo over to watch.  The two boys watch as John's parents dance romantically.  Gordo is embarrassed at the display of affection, but John smiles happily to see his parents' love.  Frank dips his laughing wife backward and she sees her son standing outside.  Upside-down, she waves at him and the boys laugh.  Julia cradles Frank's face in her hands lovingly and they continue to dance.

John Sullivan, bitter from the death of his father when he was six years old, is an alcoholic.  While smoking quietly, he watches his girlfriend angrily pack her belongings in the car.  She stalks into the house, brushing past him without a word to grab more things.  John: "So, that's it, Samantha?  You're just walking out?"  Samantha: "I've been walking out for six months, John.  You just didn't notice or care."  She walks quickly into the other room, John following.  Samantha, beginning to sob, continues to throw her things together.  John, angry and wanting to hurt Samantha: "You were right.  We shoulda quit a long time ago."  Samantha buries her face in her hands, sobbing loudly.  John looks down, quietly: "I'm sorry.  I know it's my fault.  I can't change, Sam.  I wish I could, but I can't."  Samantha, putting on her coat: "No, John.  It's that you won't change.  And that's what hurts so much."  Samantha walks past John to the door: "Goodbye, Chief." John's eyes are caught by a framed picture of himself, Sam, and his mother at a carnival.  He walks into the kitchen and grabs a bottle of liquor.  He carries the bottle into the living room and sits down on the couch, pulling out a cigarette.

Frank Sullivan is enjoying a barbecue in his yard with a crowd of his family and friends.  The television is set to the World Series and they huddle around the black-and-white screen together, watching the game while hot dogs and hamburgers cook on the barbecue.  'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' plays in the background as men in baseball jerseys mill around the yard, drinking cold beer.  Kids in baseball caps crouch on the ground in front of the television set.  One of the men hands several of the kids tickets to the third game in the series and they gasp in excitement.  Frank runs to the front of the yard to take a picture of the gathering.  Men, women, and children yell together: "Amazin' Mets!" as Frank snaps the shot of his loved ones enjoying a summer's day.

Firefighter Frank Sullivan is trapped on an upper floor in a burning building with an unconscious woman.  His co-workers scramble below to raise the ladder on the fire truck up to the window to rescue Frank.  Suddenly, the ladder jerks and stops, several yards away from the window.  The gear box for the ladder has cracked.  Fire Commander, yelling into the radio: "Frank, the ladder's jammed.  You gotta find another way out."  Frank, the unconscious woman draped over his shoulders, turns away from the window.  He sees two choices open to him...one way is filled with flames, and the other is filled only with smoke.  Frank's instincts tell him to head for the smoke and he begins to run in that direction.  He stops, remembering his son's warning the day before.  (Frank and his adult son, thirty years in the future, have been in communication through a ham radio.  John, Frank's son, warned him that he was going to die in this fire because he chose the wrong way out of the building.)  Thirty years in the future, John sits in a bar with two friends, drinking to the memory of his father.  Back in the past, Frank hears John's words of prophecy in his head: "The Buxton fire.  If you'd just gone the other way."  Suddenly, Frank decides to turn around and go the other way, through the flames.  In the bar, John's eyes widen as new memories begin to flood his mind.  As Frank, in the past, takes each step toward a new destiny, John sees the changes to his life happening in the future.  John's memories of losing his dad at the age of six are replaced with going on family vacations as a teenager, learning to ride a bike with his dad, and drinking a toast with his parents on his graduation into the police force.  Seen in slow motion, Frank begins to slide down a chute inside the building, the new chain of events already set in motion.  John's glass slips from his hands as he continues to experience memory after memory of a new life with his father that he had originally missed.  Frank and the woman burst out of the chute into the open air, sailing forward to land safely in the water below.  John's glass crashes to the floor of the bar at the same instant Frank's helmet hits the ground, spinning.  A photograph of Frank, John, and John's mother lies inside the helmet.  Frank's decision has changed the future for his family. (Caution: "hell" used once as profanity)

Frank Sullivan and his six-year-old son, John, are walking down the sidewalk, pushing John's bike.  Frank: "All right, Chief.  What do you say we tame this bronco, huh?"  John, in a small boy's voice: "I'm scared."  Frank, crouching down to look his son in the eye: "I know.  And you know what?  I'm gonna be right here with you.  Always."  John, fearfully: "Daddy, I can't."  Frank, encouragingly: "Well, we can.  We can do it together.  You and me.  Spirit and guts.  What do you say?"  John reluctantly agrees and climbs onto his bike.  Frank, holding on from behind: "Now you just take your time.  I'm not gonna let go until you say it's okay."  Frank walks behind the bike as John begins pedaling.  Frank murmurs words of encouragement as he jogs along behind the bike.  John, in a moment of fear: "Wait!"  Frank, soothingly: "I'm still here."  John, smiling as he gains momentum and control: "Okay!"  Frank, letting go of the bike: "It's all you."  John, excitedly: "Look at me!"  Frank watches his son ride his bike down their street: "It's all you, Chief.  Look at you, you're doin' it!"  John rides in circles around his father as they talk and laugh and celebrate John's new accomplishment.

John Sullivan is sleeping fitfully in his bed, his dreams filled with memories of his mother's funeral.  He sees glimpses of the past in his sleep...a floor-level view of black-shod feet standing in front of a flower-draped coffin, a white cross of flowers, his mother's gold medallion, the priest talking to guests.  John, tossing and turning, now sees himself as a six-year-old boy, hiding under the table at his mother's funeral.  Tears are on John's young cheeks as he watches the crowd silently.  He sees his parents' friends and family looking sadly down at him.  His best friend, six-year-old Gordo, stands silently, watching him.  Frank, John's father, kneels down to look at his son under the table.  The adult John, still agitated with the terrible memories, knocks his alarm clock off his bed-side table...it now reads 5:05.  He sees himself as the grieving child under the table, looking into his father's eyes.  His mother's medallion hits the floor and John wakes up.

John Sullivan steps up to bat during a game of baseball with his family and friends.  His father, Frank, cheers him on and John's young son watches from the bleachers.  A song begins to play in the background as John hits a homerun.  A laughing John rounds the bases as he begins to see in his mind pictures of his happy childhood.  John's vision alternates between memories of his past and sights from his present.  John, a teenager in a baseball uniform, sits on his front porch with his dark-haired dad.  Now, John's aging father runs around the bases, his hair gray.  A teenage John washes the car with his father, enjoying a water fight.  The adult John hugs his mother, her hair streaked with gray and her face lined with wrinkles.  He sees a memory of her in the past, young and beautiful, standing at their car, ready to leave for a family vacation.  Now, John carries his young son over to Frank, and they stand together, three generations of a family.  John sees himself as a young boy, his father teaching him how to hit a ball.  Now, John's wife stands next to his mother, taking a picture of John, his father, and his son.  John and his father are holding John's son between them, the three laughing together.  John sees one more memory...his mother sitting on their steps, waving as young John and his father ride down the street on a motorcycle.
