Ghost and Mr. Chicken, The
G, 1966, Universal Pictures
Director:
Alan Rafkin
Starring:
Don Knotts, Joan Staley, Skip Homeier, Liam Redmond, Dick Sargent, Reta Shaw, Charles Lane
Plot:
Don Knotts is at his nervous best playing a jerky, quirky typesetter for a small town newspaper who aspires to be a full-fledged reporter. While pining after the town beauty, Luther gets his big break when the editor asks him to spend the night at the Simmons mansion that, 20 years before, was the site of a now famous murder-suicide! (The picnic scene alone is worth the price of the DVD!)
