ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Rose Mary is busy listening to music and painting when her young daughter says she's hungry.  But when Jeannette asks her mother for lunch, Rose Mary tells her to make it herself.  Rose Mary: "Would you rather me make some food that'll be gone in an hour, or finish this painting that will last forever?"  Jeannette goes into the kitchen to make lunch for her family.  Standing on a stool to reach the burners, she lights the gas oven with a cigarette lighter.  As she stands over the pot of boiling water, the ruffle of her skirt touches the burner.  Within seconds, she is rolling on the floor, screaming.  Her entire front is on fire.  Rose Mary rushes to put it out.  (Caution: scene may disturb some viewers)

Jeannette watches her mother painting a picture of a Joshua tree.  Its trunk is twisted and bent, and the branches stick out in every direction.  Jeannette wonders why her mother chose to paint such an unattractive tree: "Why that one?"  Rose Mary: "The wind's been beatin' that tree down since the day it was born.  But it refuses to fall.  It's the struggle that gives it its beauty."

Rex and Jeannette sit before the fire.  Rex begins to unwind the bandage covering Jeannette's horrible burn.  Wanting his daughter to lose her fear of fire, he directs her attention to it: "You see the top of the flames, where the yellow dissolves into the heat?  That zone is known in physics as the boundary between turbulence and order.  It's a place where no rules apply.  At least, they haven't figured them out yet.  That's all life is.  A bunch of molecules bouncin' off each other at random.  So, there's no point in tryin' to find a reason or pattern for why you were born at a certain time, or why you got bit by that fire.  You just got a little too close to the chaos is all.  You understand?"  Jeannette shakes her head.  Rex laughs: "Well, I'm not sure I do, either."

Rex and his family are at the city pool.  Rex sees Jeannette holding onto the side, afraid to go into the water because she can't swim.  Moving over to her, he has her climb onto his back: "Don't be scared.  I got ya."  He takes her out into the middle of the pool, telling her to kick her legs and move her arms.  Rex: "It's not so bad, is it?"  Jeannette shakes her head.  Rex: "Good.  'Cause you're gonna learn to swim today."  Without warning, Rex thrusts her away.  Jeannette immediately sinks to the bottom of the pool.  For several agonizing seconds, she struggles, unable to swim back to the surface.  Finally, Rex pulls her up and holds her for a few seconds, letting her catch her breath.  Jeannette, gasping: "Why'd you do that?"  Rex, thrusting her again: "Sink or swim!"  Jeannette's scream is cut off when she again sinks under the water.  Lying on the bottom of the pool, Jeannette looks terrified.  Finally, Rex pulls her up again.  The entire pool is watching them, shocked.  Several voice their opinions aloud.  Rex just laughs.  Jeannette, tearfully: "I wanna go back!"  Rex complies, thrusting her in the direction of the side of the pool.  Jeannette again sinks and struggles, but this time is able to pull herself up on the side of the pool.  Crying, she runs to the parking lot.  Rex chases her down, telling her he was just helping her to conquer her fear: "I can't let you cling to the side your whole life just because you're scared.  If you don't want to sink, you have to learn how to swim."

Jeannette has just finished sewing up her father's wounded arm.  Rex, lovingly: "You know I'd do anything for you, right?  Anything.  All you got to do is ask."  Jeannette watches her father take another drink of liquor.  Nervously, she makes her request: "Do you think...you could maybe stop drinking?  It's just...when you drink, you can't take care of us."  Rex looks away, deeply hurt: "Must be awful ashamed of your old man."  Jeannette: "No!  I just think we'd have money for food."  Rex wrestles with himself, fighting back tears.  Jeannette: "You can do it if you want.  You're stronger than anyone."  Sighing deeply, Rex asks for time to sit alone and think.  The next morning, he wakes Jeannette up and tells her he's going to quit.

Jeannette and David are meeting with two clients, furniture makers.  The warm, gentle couple tell the younger two that they've spent their lives working at their craft.  Never intending to get rich and successful, they made furniture because they enjoyed it.  Mr. Lehocky: "Just do what makes you happy.  You may make some money at it, you might not.  Doesn't matter either way if you're doing what you love."  Mrs. Lehocky: "And what about you, Jeannette?  Is this what you've always wanted to do?"  (Jeannette writes for a gossip-style magazine.)  Jeannette, looking surprised: "Uh, no, actually.  I was once a political science major.  I was very eager to write stories that actually matter.  This is not where I thought that I was going to end up."  Mrs. Lehocky, smiling: "Well, maybe you're not at the end yet."

Jeannette has awakened thinking she's seen a demon.  Rex hands her his knife in its sheath: "This knife is specially designed to hunt demons.  It's very sharp.  Don't take it out unless you see one.  You can borrow it for the night.  You know, all monsters are the same.  They like to frighten people, but the minute you stare them down, they turn tail and run."  Jeannette quietly takes the knife, tears on her cheeks.
