ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

Matt notices that Ryan, a rookie astronaut, is feeling somewhat nauseous on her first mission.  He engages her in small talk to distract her from her discomfort.  Shariff, however, feels nothing but exhilaration.  Vaulting himself off the spaceship, he floats around until jerked back by his tether.  He calls out to Matt, laughing with glee: "Is this great, or what?"  Matt looks back at Ryan, smiling: "You gotta admit one thing:  can't beat the view."  Over Matt's helmet, the camera pans out to show the immense, glowing blue sphere of Earth.  White and golden clouds swirl over the aqua ocean.  Brown and green variegated land breaks the blue expanse.  Matt: "So, what do you like about being up here?"  Ryan, sighing: "The silence.  I could get used to it."  Matt spends a few more moments staring at Earth in awe: "Terrific."

The team of astronauts aboard the Explorer have just received word that a large cloud of space debris is speeding toward them.  The three working on the space telescope are rushing to get back to the ship before the debris hits.  Suddenly, Matt looks out over the blackness of space and sees objects hurtling toward them at an incredible rate of speed.  Ryan, wearing no jet pack, asks Matt to help her get inside the ship.  While Matt struggles to unstrap Ryan from the telescope, Shariff is struck and killed by flying debris.  Matt is unable to completely detach Ryan before the debris hits the Explorer with catastrophic force.  The Explorer, terminally damaged, is lurching sideways when the platform holding Ryan is struck by debris.  The platform is severed from the telescope and starts spinning sickeningly away from the Explorer.  Ryan is helplessly caught and spinning so fast she can barely gasp for air.  Matt, through the helmet radio, tells her she must detach herself or she will be shot out into space.  Ryan, gasping: "I can't!"  Matt: "Listen to my voice!  You need to focus!"  Matt continues to order Ryan to detach until she gathers enough strength to do so.  Unfortunately, she has spun so far out into space that she is lost from all visual and audio contact.  She spins alone in the blackness, hearing nothing but the sound of her own ragged breathing.  (Caution: h-word used)

Matt and Ryan are floating through space toward the International Space Station, attempting to reach a vehicle that can get them back to Earth.  Matt is making small talk to distract Ryan from the terror of their situation.  When asked what she does in her free time, Ryan tells Matt that she drives in her car, listening to mindless radio.  He asks her who is waiting back on Earth for her return.  Ryan, quietly, tells Matt she once had a four-year-old daughter.  Ryan: "She was at school, playing tag, slipped, hit her head, and that was it.  Stupidest thing.  I was driving when I got the call.  So, ever since then, that's what I do.  I wake up.  I go to work.  And I just drive."  The two astronauts float silently for a few moments, enveloped in the blackness of space.

Matt and Ryan have managed to launch themselves across space in order to reach the International Space Station.  Unfortunately, they have no more jet pack fuel and no way to stop their bodies from spinning out into space.  Ryan has managed to loop her leg through some ropes trailing from the station and she is holding onto Matt's tether.  Ryan: "You just hold on, and I'm going to start pulling you in."  Matt, dangling out into space on the end of his tether, can see that the ropes are slipping off of Ryan's foot.  Matt, soberly but insistently: "Ryan, listen.  You have to let me go."  Ryan: "No!"  Matt: "The ropes are too loose.  I'm pulling you with me.  You have to let me go or we both die."  Ryan: "I'm not letting you go!  We're fine!"  The ropes slip again and Ryan is now dangling from only one more loop.  Matt, quietly: "Ryan, let go."  Ryan: "No.  You're not going anywhere.  You're not going anywhere."  Matt, knowing Ryan is determined to try to save him: "It's not up to you."  He begins to detach himself from his tether.  Ryan, whispering pleadingly: "Please don't do this!  Please don't do this!"  Matt, taking one last look at Ryan: "You're gonna make it, Ryan."  He releases the tether, sending himself floating out into black space.

Ryan is working to detach the parachute that is tying the escape pod to the space station.  Suddenly, she sees a huge cloud of space debris hurtling straight toward her.  She turns back to her task, humming to distract herself.  Trying to focus on the task at hand, she ignores the debris that is flying past her.  Finally, the debris is so thick and causing so much damage to the space station that she can no longer ignore it.  She holds tightly to the station in order to avoid being knocked into outer space by the debris jolting the structure.  All around her, objects are striking the station, causing massive damage.  She continues to hold on tight, waiting for the worst to pass, watching the station being obliterated by the debris.  Finally, the cloud of debris and the wreckage of the station is carried out to space and Ryan is once again left in silence.  She looks out at the debris: "I hate space."

Alone and adrift in space, Ryan has managed to make contact with another human being over the radio.  She has one slim remaining hope of rescue, thinking she has managed to contact the Chinese Space Station.  But, when she hears a dog barking in the background, she realizes that she has contacted Earth.  She sits back against her seat, listening to the man chatter at her in a foreign tongue.  She begins to weep.  Having no one else to talk to, she reaches out to Aningaaq, the man on the other end of the radio, even knowing he can't understand her.  "Oh, I'm gonna die, Aningaaq.  I know, we're all gonna die.  Everybody knows that.  But I'm gonna die today.  Funny, that.  You know, to know.  But, the thing is, it's that I'm still scared.  I'm really scared.  Nobody will mourn for me.  No one will pray for my soul.  Will you mourn for me?  Will you say a prayer for me?  Or is it too late?  I mean, I'd say one for myself, but I've never prayed in my life.  Nobody ever taught me how."  She whispers again, as a tear lifts from her cheek to float in the weightless pod: "Nobody ever taught me how."

Tired of struggling to survive and still grieving over the loss of her little girl, Ryan has turned down the life support in her space pod and is preparing to die in her sleep.  The lack of oxygen causes her to hallucinate, and she dreams that Matt is alive and has returned to the pod.  The dream-Matt enters the pod and sits down next to her.  He turns on the life support, telling her it's time to head to the space station.  When Ryan tells him that the trip is impossible because they have no fuel, he continues to flick switches: "Well, there's always something we can do."  He reminds Ryan that the landing jets can give them power.  When she continues to argue, he realizes that she wants to give up.  Matt: "I get it.  It's nice up here.  You can just shut down all the systems, turn out all the lights, and just close your eyes and tune out everybody.  There's nobody up here that can hurt you.  It's safe.  I mean, what's the point of going on?  What's the point of living?  Your kid died.  Doesn't get any rougher than that.  But, still, it's a matter of what you do now."  Matt tells Ryan that she has to make the decision to start living life.  Ryan opens her eyes and Matt is gone.  She sits up and turns life support back on.  (Caution: h-word used twice)

Ryan is in a Chinese spacecraft, headed back toward Earth.  Not knowing whether her desperate attempt at survival will succeed or not, she radios Houston to let them know she is coming: "All right, the way I see it, there's only two possible outcomes.  Either I make it down there in one piece, and I have one h--l of a story to tell, or I burn up in the next ten minutes.  Either way, whichever way, no harm, no foul!"  Ryan laughs out loud: "Because, either way, it'll be one h--l of a ride!"  The spacecraft begins to burn up in the atmosphere and pieces break off and hurtle away in all directions.  The section holding Ryan spins uncontrollably, turning her around and around like a clothes dryer.  Alarms are blaring and the electric paneling begins to smoke.  Straining, Ryan pushes the button that ejects the escape pod from the rest of the vessel.  The pod shoots toward Earth, engulfed in flames.  Ryan pants as she hurtles toward Earth inside the ball of flames.  Finally, the pod parachute opens and the vessel drifts safely into the water below.  (Caution: h-word used twice)
