The ScreenVue Vault is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

The Vault first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free Vault access.

The Vault offers 16,000+ Movie Ideas and Movie Views from a variety of movies and resources. 

The Vault saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!  

(*The Vault does not sell or rent entire digital copies of movies to download. To purchase or rent entire movies, please access services like Amazon, Apple or Fandango).

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 5,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  are part of the Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

ScreenVue is an international organization headquartered in the United States, with offices around the world. As such, many of our systems and online services are employed globally.

When you purchase licenses or services from ScreenVue, we will require only the personal information that is necessary for the administration of your account with us.

When you sign up for CVLI/ScreenVue’s licenses or services, you may provide some or all of the following:

- Information about the licenses and subscriptions that you purchase from us including your method of payment.

Our websites contain links to other websites. When you leave a ScreenVue website by linking to any of these sites, you are subject to the privacy policy of those sites.

- Personal data that you freely provide about yourself that is relevant to the nature of the interaction, such as your name, username and email address. 
- Details of the emails you open, and links clicked.
- Your comments in forums and feedback from surveys.

- We encrypt all data that is transferred electronically using the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

We cannot guarantee the security of any email provider or online service which is not managed by us, and which you use to transfer data to us.

ScreenVue works with reputable service providers who may process your data to perform business functions on our behalf. These include Google Analytics, MailChimp/Mandrill, SurveyGizmo and others.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

ScreenVue would like to share potentially valuable or interesting information with you and, from time to time, ask for your feedback via online surveys.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 5,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key. 
- In the USA, to gain access to the Vault, please upgrade to a *Total Producer package* by calling: __1-888-771-2854__.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas and Movie Views?"__
- The Vault offers TWO different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View. 
- *Movie Views*: Has the "TV icon," where you can instantly preview content you’re considering from embedded links streamed directly on the Vault site from a studio’s official YouTube channel.

__"Why can't I download a Movie Idea or Movie View?"__
- We do not have permission from the studio owners to offer downloads for Ideas and Views. Instead, use the cues listed in the upper, right hand corner of a Movie Idea in tandem with your own copy or rental, or preview a Movie View. 

- The Vault offers two different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details. 
- *Movie Views*: Has the "TV icon," where you can instantly preview content you’re considering from embedded links streamed directly on the Vault site from a studio’s official YouTube channel.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- The Church Video License has made recent modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__
- Before using Vault content, please check your country’s Authorised Producers List to confirm the content is covered (all Vault content is covered in the USA).

Hal is very late for an important day at work.  While speeding down the highway, he wraps a gift intended for a party he is attending after work.  Using both hands, he wraps the gift, his eyes mostly on his lap.  He occasionally glances at the road as he moves the steering wheel with his knees.  After a long period of staring at the gift in his hands, Hal looks over his sunglasses at the road and is surprised to see a car immediately in front of him.  He quickly grabs the steering wheel, swerving into the other lane.  Faced with oncoming traffic in the form of a large truck, Hal swerves back into his own lane just in the nick of time.

Hal is a fighter pilot charged with testing the capability of a new computer-flown jet called the Saber.  His wingman already down, Hal faces the two high-tech jets alone.  Hal knows that the new jets are faster and better than his own.  His only hope at beating them is to risk a desperate move that could easily result in disaster.  He deliberately flies so high that he stalls his own engine, as well as those of the Sabers.  While the three jets freefall toward the ground, he shoots them both, thus winning the competition.  (Caution: "h--l" used once as profanity)

Hal is freefalling toward the ground in a jet (see Scene # CV04941 for background story).  Initially confident of his ability to pull out of danger, Hal notices a picture of his deceased father on the control panel.  His eyes widen in sudden panic.  Memories of his father's death shoot through his mind.  He sees himself as a boy, waving to his father from the tarmac of an airport.  His father, also a jet pilot, crashes on takeoff.  In his mind, Hal sees the images of his father's plane exploding in a ball of flame.  His own plane now spinning uncontrollably, Hal is too paralyzed to do anything to save himself.  Trapped mentally in the past, Hal then remembers the feelings of seeing his father's plane explode.  Coming back to the present, he shakes his head to clear the memories and ejects from his jet in just enough time to watch it hit the ground in a ball of flame.

Sinestro has called a meeting of the Green Lanterns to tell them of their new and powerful enemy, Parallax.  Charged with the protection of the universe, it is the Lanterns' duty to defeat this new threat to civilization.  Sinestro encourages his men to unity, convinced they will succeed in their mission.  Sinestro, with fervor: "It was for this moment that we were created.  But I don't need to tell you your duty.  I don't need to tell you who we are."  The Lanterns begin shouting, in unison: "We are the Corps!"

Hal has just told Carol that he has been appointed a superhero, a Green Lantern.  He has been given the ability to create anything he can see in his mind.  Carol, astounded, asks him for details of his missions.  Hal, slightly embarrassed, tells Carol that he already quit.  Carol: "What do you mean?  How?"  Hal: "Well, I mean, it's a lot like quitting anything else, really."  Carol: "I don't understand.  How can you walk away from something like that?  Is that even possible?"  Hal, self-deprecatingly: "Oh, I think we both know I'm pretty good at walking away."  Carol: "If, for once, you didn't quit something you cared about, what's the worst that could happen?"  Hal doesn't answer, instead taking Carol back to her office.  Carol: "I feel bad for you, really.  You've been given so much so often.  And you just..."  Carol, unable to finish, walks away.

Hal (the Green Lantern) is discouraged after his failed attempt at defeating the evil Parallax.  He tells Tom and Carol that the ring made a mistake in choosing him to be a protector of the universe.  Hal: "The one thing that a Green Lantern is supposed to be is fearless.  Fearless is the job description.  That isn't me."  His encounter with Parallax revealed to Hal that he wasn't the brave daredevil he had always imagined himself to be.  He now admits to himself and his friends that he is afraid.  Carol reminds Hal of his hero father: "You don't think your dad ever felt afraid?"  Hal: "If he did, he figured out some way to beat it."  Carol: "Yeah, well, there's a word for that...courage.  The ring didn't see that you were fearless.  It saw that you had the ability to overcome fear."

Sinestro, leader of the Green Lanterns, has encouraged the Guardians to harness the power of fear to defeat their enemy, Parallax.  In doing so, they are willing to sacrifice Earth.  Hal, the Green Lantern from Earth, has come to the Guardians to beg salvation for his people.  Hal also wants to discourage the Guardians from using fear as a weapon: "Once you cross that line, once you've given in to fear, you'll never go back."  The Guardians are insulted when Hal accuses them of feeling fear, but Hal tells them that their weakness is not in feeling fear, but in refusing to acknowledge it.  If they would admit their fear and fight despite it, Hal is certain of their success.  The Guardians refuse to help Hal and so he offers to sacrifice himself for Earth: "I'll show you that will is stronger than fear."  Hal is not deterred when told he will surely die: "I will die trying."

The evil creature Parallax has attacked Earth.  Hal (the Green Lantern) is determined to protect his planet.  Parallax shoots bolts of fire at the weakened Hal.  Mere feet away from the beast, Hal struggles to fight against his powers.  He holds his fist in the air, using the power of his Green Lantern ring to form a protective barrier against Parallax's attack.  He sinks to his knees with the immense effort.  Parallax begins to whisper words of defeat intended to break down Hal's courage: "I feel your fear growing.  You will be dead soon."  Hal ignores Parallax, repeating aloud the vow of the Green Lantern brigade to give himself courage: "In brightest day, in blackest night..."  Parallax's destructive words continue to flow: "And when you're gone, I'll destroy everything you ever loved."  Hal, however, keeps his focus on what he knows to be true, right, and good, and is able to withstand his enemy.
